23/05/2026: Popped in this evening, hoping there would be a table, and, luckily there was. The service was fantastic, felt relaxed, looked after and comfortable. The tall Irish fella with the glasses was excellent on the front of house, looked after me and the food was unbelievable. The colcannon potatoes were next level and the white chocolate desert was the best desert I’ve ever had, would definitely recommend.

The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The service throughout was attentive without being intrusive. We left feeling genuinely well looked after. 01/05/2026: We walked in on a Friday night around 8pm. I was afraid at first that we wouldn't get a table without reservations. But, they found a table for us upstairs. The bathrooms are also upstairs btw. We ordered the soup of the day which was French Onion. It would have been a perfect 10 out of 10 if they would have actually put some cheese on top. It tasted amazing...deep and rich beef and onion flavor. But, I wanted the cheese I'm used to. The Wagyu Beef burger and fries was great(although the bacon on it was kind of sad...it looked cold and precooked that had been just sitting there). As was the Seafood Linguini. It was a generous portion with lots of different kinds of seafood. The service was prompt and friendly. We were too full to order dessert but I'm sure it would be delicious! Thank you!

10/05/2026: Absolutely amazing experience! The food was incredibly delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was so cozy and welcoming, making the whole evening even more special. A huge thank you to the staff for being so attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our visit. The service was truly outstanding and made us feel very comfortable and appreciated. We will definitely be coming back again and will gladly recommend this place to all our friends!

13/05/2026: Can’t get better than this. Cozy, fisherman’s theme with outstanding seafood dishes. Not just the quality but the creativity stands out. I was so glad I dropped in for dinner. What a treat on a cold, drizzly day. Definitely try the seafood chowder. And the homemade crabcakes. Wow

08/05/2026: Absolutely amazing gastronomic experience at The Salty Dog in Ballycotton. The tuna tataki was honestly some of the best tuna I’ve had in a very long time — comparable to what I had in Hawaii. The chef clearly knows exactly what he’s doing. The bruschetta was also outstanding, full of flavour and beautifully prepared. Everything we had was excellent. Add to that the amazing views, great atmosphere, and friendly service, and it made for a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended.

10/04/2026: Was spot on. Got surf & turf, was so good. Took 6 days to find good food. Staff was so nice, if your late dinning do a reservation. We are from Texas and steaks are everywhere. It's nice to get a steak that's remind me of home.

14/05/2026: If you're looking for inexpensive and delicious fish and chips, this is the place to go! The fries are large, well-fried, and tasty. Any sauce is well with them, but my personal preference is garlic sauce. Now let's look at the fish. A huge piece of white, juicy, and delicious fried fish with a fresh lemon makes me hungry even in the picture. The portions are big even for a 95 kg man. The atmosphere is calm and cozy. The girls who were preparing food made my day when they turned on the music and sang songs wonderfully. I'll come here again.

03/05/2026: Great Fish and chips, scampi and calamari were amazing, definitely worth visiting.

11/05/2026: Unreal little authentic Italian spot. I went for the Mortedella and provolone focaccia which was really tasty and very well priced. My wife had the rocket, gorgonzola and pear salad which she said was delicious and very well dressed. All finished off with a homemade torta della nonna... Everything is made with love and care and the service is great, will definitely be a regular here.

26/04/2026: Great place for a "summer" day in Ireland! Really good chicken wings, nice cocktails you can get only here, but what really impressed us was the service - Conal is one of the best bartenders in Ireland! So polite, friendly, and at the same time perfectly professional! Great knowledge on drinks and on the way to interact with guests! Well done!!!

19/04/2026: I’ve been all over Europe and often the service just doesn’t compare to America. Conner was our waiter and was on it the entire time, so much so I felt compelled to leave this review for him. Keep up the hard work Conner, it will take you far in life.
