03/03/2025: Tuvo un asado de domingo único, que estuvo lleno de aperitivos inspirados en el chef y un plato principal. Buena cocina.

24/02/2025: Cenamos en el Seafood Café en una fría noche de febrero, cuando llegamos el lugar estaba excepcionalmente bien vestido. Hay un ambiente muy guay aquí pero también muy acogedor, buena música para acomodarse mientras tomamos nuestras bebidas. Los tres chicos de esa noche fueron geniales, puedes ver claramente que les encanta lo que hacen. Empezamos con las ostras, yo tenía la solla sobre carbón. . . . . recomiendo encarecidamente! Mi esposa tuvo la caballa con ensalada y rábano picante de nuevo muy bueno. Si estás en Dublín y te apetece un poco de marisco en un ambiente ecléctico, muy fresco pero cómodo, entonces cena aquí. No te arrepentirás.

04/02/2025: Love the food here, but (big but) the service needs attention. The girl serving on the Saturday day time had a fair amount of sass about her, and seemed annoyed when we asked for cutlery. You are offering a take out service, of course people will be wanting knives and folks!

17/12/2024: The photos of this restaurant do not do it justice. It is in a beautiful, scenic situation. The interior is beautifully laid out and the decor reflects it's origins perfectly. I can imagine eating here in the height of summer would be lovely. If the presentation of the food was less pretentious and by that I refer to the horrible presentation of the fish and chips, the oblong plates and tiny 'casserole' pots it would definitely be somewhere I would return. The food was okay but the chips were disappointing, frozen fries, not good for the price paid.

14/10/2024: Originalmente teníamos otros planes para cenar el sábado 5 a otro lugar, pero debido al personal grosero en ese lugar cambiamos nuestros planes y por suerte vinimos aquí en su lugar. Nos recibieron tan cálidamente al entrar, nuestro camarero era tan educado, feliz y amable. Todo lo que pedí se adaptó a mis necesidades dietéticas fácilmente. Cuando el camarero me vio compartiendo un poco de mi entrante con mi pareja vino a informarme que el suyo también estaba libre de gluten para que pudiera probar el suyo! Los dos nos reímos, pero nuestro camarero estaba en la pelota! Cada comida fue una experiencia increíble, nuestro camarero repetidas veces se aseguró de que estábamos contentos con todo, que por supuesto que lo estábamos. Desde que hemos cenado allí hace 9 días hemos recomendado este lugar a más de 20 de nuestros amigos y familiares y todavía hay más para recomendar este lugar también! Si usted está indeciso sobre dónde cenar, no busque más que aquí, el cuidado y la atención al detalle, la presentación de la comida, a la experiencia de sus clientes es evidentemente prioritario y el personal es realmente feliz aquí, que siempre es una gran señal!

15/03/2025: Came here in March. Very understated. I had prawns to start and John Dory for main. Food was delicious, freshly cooked and piping hot. Good sized portion and you leave well fed. Lovely fire on and the pints looked good. Nothing fancy just straight up good food.

19/01/2025: Never been disappointed with the food. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced for a fast food establishment. Good variety on the menu.

05/03/2025: Sometimes u get a scoop of chips with items like a pie or sausage. Sometimes u don't. Consistency would be better. Food is good but sometimes orders can be wrong, as in wrong sauce or items missing. Still nice irish chipper

06/02/2025: This award winning chipper served up a delicately cooked fish (complete with mushy peas), a substantial double burger, and a generous portion of nicely cooked chips. Will definitely keep them on my list of places to visit whenever I'm in the city.

09/03/2025: Dining table full of food chips curry gravy all over tables and floor. Tables closed because they refuse to clean all tables and floor..disgusting attitude from staff . And always running out of fish . We waiting in line for over 40 minutes to then be told no fish. There's no respect for customers at all . We went next door to goofys and got treated well and great staff with respect for there customers

21/02/2025: Amazing! Curry sauce is possibly the best tried (my wife’s words) and the Cod bite and chips were perfect 🤩

09/12/2024: Three of us were out for a celebratory lunch at Monks. We had the prawns and chowder to start. The prawns were cooked to perfection and were quite flavoursome. The chowder contained plenty of fresh fish and was seasoned correctly. For our main, we ordered the seafood platter and it was just exquisite. Everything was so fresh and cooked perfectly. We noticed how warm and cosy the restaurant was.....even the rest rooms were warm. There was a lovely stove fire burning which made us forget the fact that storm Darragh was looming.....The accommodation looks really nice also, and we are even making plans to return for an overnight stay with our canine buddies! I highly recommend Monks, a beautiful experience awaits! Annie, Co. Galway

08/12/2024: Monk's delivers expertly on two levels. First, they are a fantastic restaurant, featuring some of the best seafood you will find anywhere. Second, they have that cozy feel of an authentic Irish pub. The restaurant is light and airy, with several open spaces in which to dine. We enjoyed great customer service as well. Monk's is a true winner!
