25/10/2024: This has got to be the best pub in all of Ireland. Came here when they did a session and those were the best tunes I ever heard. Amazing staff. Wonderful drink. Talked to Pat who owns the pub and he is such a kind gentlemen.

01/06/2024: We stayed in Lahinch for a single night and our concierge at the Atlantic where we were staying highly recommended us to stop by flanagans for their live music and good pints… all of which perfectly hit the spot, we came to discover (in our own opinions) poured the best pint of Guinness in the country. Paired with fantastic service and some traditional music/ dancing you really can’t beat. Definitely would recommend to anyone passing through Lahinch!

11/06/2025: Definitely a great experience…. Food perfect. Our waiter Tomasz excellent… nothing was a problem and his suggestions were exactly what we wanted ( but didn’t know !!) venue stunning beautiful surroundings very clean. There was an amazing atmosphere throughout our whole experience from the minute we were greeted on arrival to our departure Service above and beyond Well done to all and thank you

10/06/2025: The food was fine, chicken salad salty and a small portion for the price...waiting staff a bit stand-offish...beautiful interior and surroundings but a bit disappointing. Does not live up to expectations food wise

08/06/2025: Could not recommend this place more! Best Tom Yum soup we tried, fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. The staff are very pleasant, service is quick and the restaurant is clean and modern.

27/05/2025: Fuimos a este fabuloso restaurante en un almuerzo muy lluvioso. El panorama seguía siendo increíble incluso bajo la lluvia , recibimos una bienvenida muy cálida por el personal. El servicio fue increíble. Empecé con la sopa de mariscos y el pan integral, creo que fue la mejor sopa que he probado que era cremosa y llena de pescado, tan deliciosa. Luego tuve el lenguado de limón que era delicioso y un tamaño hermoso que venía con chips flacos que eran solo Devine. Éramos cuatro personas y tomamos una botella de su vino rosado que era tan encantador y frío (creo que el mejor refrigerado de este año). Fueron muy amables y me dieron un postre de cumpleaños que no esperaba. Mi marido tenía helado frito que venía con una salsa de mantequilla, Dios mío, nunca he probado nada más delicioso. Este restaurante es una necesidad para ir, sin duda volveremos

04/02/2025: Love the food here, but (big but) the service needs attention. The girl serving on the Saturday day time had a fair amount of sass about her, and seemed annoyed when we asked for cutlery. You are offering a take out service, of course people will be wanting knives and folks!

23/06/2025: I would highly recommend staying here. Just spent 3 nights there and I want to go back again soon. Apartment spotless, everything you need is there but it's the Keane family themselves who are brilliant, so welcoming and friendly, can't do enough for you. Hope to see you all again soon.

22/06/2025: Fantastic local bar just outside of kilkee - it’s cosy, local and very friendly- pints are also perfect - if you enjoy an authentic place, add this place to your list

02/05/2025: Déjeuner très plaisant assis au comptoir, avec vue direct sur les 2 cuisiniers en action. Nous avons pris un menu entrée + plat à 32€ très savoureux et dans des assiettes bien présentées : tartine au calmar pour chacun puis filet de Saint-Pierre (à la cuisson parfaite) pour l’un et crab roll (avec portion de frites généreuse) pour l’autre. Le tout accompagné d’un très bon verre de vin blanc Gaintza Txakolina. Personnel très sympathique de surcroît… On recommande !

02/05/2025: Muy decepcionante experiencia. Teníamos lubina que no estaba muy caliente y pescado con patatas fritas que era vergonzoso. Dos pequeños trozos de pescado rebozado con patatas fritas calientes. Chowder para empezar era casi insípido. Extremadamente caro dada la mala calidad y tamaños de porción muy pequeños. Por el lado positivo, nuestro servidor era encantador y muy eficiente.

07/06/2025: Usually best cafe around with good staff and service.Food also excellent. However 2 younger staff members today leave much to be desired .Was totally ignored for 30 minutes or more.Cafe not very busy.Male staff member more interested in talking to others about sale of cafe and served others who arrived after me whom he probilily knew Poor staff members both .Did not order Moved to another cafe.

19/01/2025: Never been disappointed with the food. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced for a fast food establishment. Good variety on the menu.

10/06/2025: Restaurant idéalement situé au bord de l’océan. Nous avions réservé notre table à l’avance, heureusement car il y avait beaucoup de monde. Le personnel était efficace et sympathique et la nourriture délicieuse. Très bonne adresse.

09/06/2025: Our introduction to monks was, if we wanted to eat on the deck we would have to come inside to order and bring our own food and drinks out. We were home from Canada and it had been a number of years since I had been to Monks. The service was rude and abrupt. The Guinness was great. The crab claw starter was excellent. My sister had asked for a salad dressing on the side and was told if it was made then no she couldn’t. The triple fried frozen chips with my not fresh catch of the day was very disappointing as was having to wait and wait for the server to come back to pay.
