16/09/2026: Bright & airy in a seasidey way. Fab views to the harbour and sunset. Efficient yet considerate service. Chowder is one of the chunkiest and tastiest. Fish n Chips was a treat for the eyes and for the palette. Presentation was consistently good. Wine & cocktail list?...well now I understand why the taxi rank is just outside.

28/09/2026: Stayed for two nights, did not eat. Clean accommodation and friendly service. Unfortunately, a very small double bed and a shower head that cannot be turned upright and produces a weak stream of water. The bar is clean and cozy with friendly staff.

24/09/2026: A warm and attentive welcome. A place seemingly untouched by time, yet with its own charm. Simple but good food. We had a lovely time.

14/07/2026: Stopped here for lunch. Highly recommended - especially the fish cakes which seem to be the specialty. Also dog friendly

26/06/2026: Stayed here with a group of family and friends while golfing at Carne. The rooms were fabulous and the staff where super friendly and efficient. The seafood in the resutarant was delcious. Fantastic fish cakes. The staff were also vert helpful in returning a forgotten item to ,e Would highly recommend staying at the Talbot

15/09/2026: This is a typical kind of Irish roadside pub that we would have stopped off at in the 1970s - and that's not really a compliment! It felt like going back in time, and not in a good way! The coffee is from a push button machine and completely tasteless. You can get far better at most petrol stations. I had a scone which was as dry as a bone. That was a few days ago. We were passing by again and decided to give it a second chance. My friend had a scone and I was waiting to see if it was any better than my previous experience, but it was even more dried up - it must have been sitting there since the week before! There is a grocery shop attached, with a coffee machine. That might be a better option.

22/09/2026: Great food. Lots of gluten free options and a gluten free menu. Slightly understaffed on a busy weekend. Great location.

19/09/2026: Fantastic place to eat, doesn’t disappoint. As part of a group of six, spending a few days away in Westport, we ate here twice, for lunch and breakfast. The food is great, no issues for anyone across either meal, empty plates at the end ! The staff are lovely, very natural and relaxed. This place is well worth a visit.

07/09/2026: A pub where you can eat and drink at lunchtime and in the evening. There's live music in the evenings; we stumbled upon the one with the little old man who had phenomenal energy for his age—it was really nice.

08/06/2026: Lovely little place in the centre of Kinsale. Brilliant sirloin, excellent scallops (with the surf and turf), nice wine selection by glass or bottle, fabulous frites, and the service is op-notch. Recommended, especially as a special occasion dinner.

26/05/2026: Great small restaurant. No reservation, but very accommodating for the two of us. Steaks were great, desert a serious - WOW! Very pleasant waitstaff. Busy so we waited - but we like busy, we know it’s good!

19/09/2026: We eat here recently with my grandchildren food was great and the staff were so helpful and nice. We got a flat tyres and Theresa organised a local taxi and repair van for us so we could enjoy our evening without hassle. Thank you so much.

24/08/2026: You'll need to be a local or use GPS to find this pub/ resturant. Its worth it , spacious car park for easy parking. Resturant interior set out in old cottage style. Service efficent with menu to suit most tastes.

12/09/2026: Oldie worldie pub restaurant the main noticeable sign is the Harbour Bar, mostly seafood on the menu I had cod fish and chips my only issue was it came presalted and im not a extra salt fan. We ate out in the covered beer garden. Nice afternoon and will be back.

31/08/2026: Incredible food, 10/10 fish menu. Great views of the beach from outside, or you can sit in the pub which has great beers on draught. We will definitely return for more.

07/06/2026: Fabulous hotel. Perfect location and we had a beautiful room overlooking the marina. Staff were amazing and we were well looked after. Breakfast was perfect 👌 Highly recommend 👌 We would definitely stay here again.

29/08/2026: What a lucky choice 😊 We were after a good beef stew, and found the perfect place. If you are more the fish kind, the breaded haddock is for you.

05/06/2026: While travelling the Wild Atlantic way we stopped here to have one night of stay before our excursion to Skellig Michael. The hotel is situated in one of the most beautiful spots on the ring of Kerry. Direct access to the beach where we were able to make this picture at sunset. The food they serve is amazing. The best oysters I had to date! And wonderful staff. A destination on its own.

10/08/2026: Food is fine but my stomach turned when I saw the horrible ai images used on the website. Why would I order from a place thats too lazy to take a few pictures and would rather us ai slop. Whoever approved this needs to be sacked asap

02/03/2026: Grab a poke bowl for on the go. Food is nice enough to go again. I enjoyed mine, the daughter found it average. We both ordered the salmon. Im coeliac and the staff (although lovely) didnt know anything about it. Luckily, they have the allergins on the wall. Its a quaint food stall in the Blackrock Market laneway. No parking nearby.
