27/10/2024: We found this hotel with highly reviewed restaurant and felt so fortunate to have booked it. A small and personalized experience with amazing breakfasts and dinners that we completely loved every day of our stay. The views were phenomenal. The access to the cliff walk was perfect. We stayed in late October so the village was quiet. Which we loved. But if we can we’ll return when it’s warmer to soak up more of the Oceanside amenities. This is a special place run by fabulous people who care about making your stay special and memorable. It was all of that and more.

03/11/2024: Stopped in on a very quiet Sunday evening. Our server, Julie was incredibly kind and attentive. The food was the best we’ve had in a while (beef stew and lamb curry). I also love at the end of the menu they list the local farms they source the meat & veggies from. Highly recommend stopping in

19/10/2024: My husband and I have just had the most exquisite dinner at this stunning restaurant. The dining experience coupled with the position of the restaurant was quite magical. The food was wonderfully fresh, appetising and beautifully presented. Henry Hunt is an incredibly talented chef. We stayed the night and were also treated to a breakfast to remember. Thank you to everyone at The Smugglers who made our stay one to remember. Goodies, you must try this restaurant. We will be back. Massive thank you from both of us. What a find.

06/11/2024: Nicest food around. We come here as often as we can. The food is lovely. The staff are very friendly and so attentive. Food is cooked the way you like. The cocktails are delicious and funky. The deserts are well worth trying. We love going here and so do the kids. Had a lovely dinner with my daughter. Loved the food. Love the service too.

03/11/2024: We had an amazing lunch at this Thai restaurant in Dalkey while visiting from France! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavors. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even better. Perfect spot for a tasty, relaxing meal—highly recommend if you’re in Dalkey!

29/10/2024: What a wonderful place. The staff were welcoming, polite and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed. The food was amazing from the first bite to the last and their own beer was delicious. We will definitely be back.

03/11/2024: We have been here numerous times over summer months, the best open crab on brown bread with a tasty pomegranate side salad with a creamy glass of Guinness, overlooking Omey Island. Enjoy lunch and a walk afterwards on the beach at low tide.

19/10/2024: People were a bit stiff in the bar. Coffee was really not good.

25/10/2024: This has got to be the best pub in all of Ireland. Came here when they did a session and those were the best tunes I ever heard. Amazing staff. Wonderful drink. Talked to Pat who owns the pub and he is such a kind gentlemen.

01/06/2024: We stayed in Lahinch for a single night and our concierge at the Atlantic where we were staying highly recommended us to stop by flanagans for their live music and good pints… all of which perfectly hit the spot, we came to discover (in our own opinions) poured the best pint of Guinness in the country. Paired with fantastic service and some traditional music/ dancing you really can’t beat. Definitely would recommend to anyone passing through Lahinch!

04/11/2024: I love luigi's I've been going there for years, the staff are lovely ladies and the food is always perfect. The best fish and chips in town.

09/09/2024: We stayed in the Talbot Hotel for six nights at the start of September 2024. It was a very enjoyable experience, the hotel is lovely, clean and serves great food. It is in a great location, using it as our base we got to see the Ceide Fields, Nephin Nature Park, Achill Island, Westport and Cong, among others. Most of all we would like to say a big thank you to staff members, Emma who welcomed us at check-in and who, within minutes of being told of my feather pillow allergy, sorted us with alternative pillows and quilt, Kirsty who always had a smile for us at breakfast and thanks also to Katie who made a point of fixing the security safe in the bedroom when we couldn't get it to work. Many thanks. Would definitely recommend and if ever in that neck of the woods would definitely stay there again.

18/09/2024: We came on a Wednesday so unfortunately no meals, but we took the opportunity to visit the windmill which is truly exceptional. I suggest putting a donation box for its upkeep. A big thank you for this magnificent monument.

19/08/2024: We found the pub out back to be very empty around 4pm on a Saturday afternoon, having the place to ourselves for a short time, playing pool and having some drinks. The staff were friendly and courteous and good selection of drinks. We didn't eat here as we were not hungry.. Warning to vegans or other consciousness animal lovers. There are old relics of fishing memorabilia such as mounted animal parts, so you may find the decor distressing. There is also a fish tank with large live fish in it.

30/10/2024: Just back from a 2 night stay at Schull Harbour hotel. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a 3 bedroom dog friendly apartment. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable with plenty of space. We ate in the hotel and the food choice and service was top class. The leisure centre is a great addition to the hotel. The location is spectacular, I was lucky enough to catch the most beautiful sunset and sunrise over the harbour. Schull is a great base for exploring all of what West Cork has to offer. Would highly recommend this hotel. Thank You for a wonderful stay.
