The best restaurantsof seafood

09/07/2025: A very enjoyable stay. We stayed 4 nights. The hotel is rated 3 star and it is a good quality 3 star hotel. Rooms were clean, the extra large bed was very comfortable, there was a good shower (in the bath) with plenty of hot water. Staff are pleasant and helpful. We only had breakfast during our stay as we were out and about each day and ate while on our travels. Usual offering at breakfast cereal, fruit salad, breads, danish and cooked options. The breakfast was consistently good each morning and we tried a few things and it was always delicious We were in room 110 which is at the back of the hotel and there was noise from what we guessed was either a plant room or a kitchen fan which started early (after six am) and shut off late (10/11 PM) I had read this on a previous review so came prepared with ear plugs which helped. This was the only thing that took from our stay and why I dropped a star on the review.

07/07/2025: Windows don’t open all of the way, there is no ac, curtains have to be closed if at the front of the hotel bc of streetlight and there is one very very very small fan and the pillows if adding insult to injury are flat!

10/06/2025: First class service, first class dining in one of the most beautiful settings in Europe. Andrew and Donna and their team make you feel like part of the family. After 10 days traveling around Ireland the Doonmore was by far our favorite and most unique experience. My only disappointment was in only staying one night. The island requires at least two nights to fully embrace the island life and to properly explore the island’s limitless natural beauty.

08/05/2025: We had a really wonderful time in Murray's Doonmore. We felt really looked after and 4 of us fit nicely in a family room with a cot. The food was delicious with a good kids menu too and the spaces are all so thought out and cosy. We will be back!

04/05/2025: This restaurant is in the heart of the lively temple bar area of Dublin. We received a warm welcome from Mike who was friendly,helpful and very efficient. Atmosphere was friendly and lively. The food was traditional Irish and comfortable. Mike suggested we shared boxty fries before our meal which were delicious

27/04/2025: Pasé a Boxty sin reservación en un domingo ocupado por la noche. En 10 minutos estábamos sentados en una mesa leyendo el menú. Mi querida esposa tiene celiaquía (alérgica al gluten) y nuestra camarera Oggi fue muy precisa al señalar lo que mi esposa podía comer. Resulta que Boxty tiene una amplia gama de comidas sin gluten. Elegí el pastel de pastores y mi esposa eligió la tradicional carne en conserva. Ambas comidas eran de gran calidad. El servicio fue eficiente y amable. Es caro, sin embargo esto se compensa con la calidad de la comida y el servicio. ¡Cuidado con Oggi, tiene una cara amable!

23/05/2025: Absolutely love the cheery atmosphere of this place. FFF (Friendly fast food) = Great memories. Close to the train station. Right across the street. Fresh chips that are made specifically to order. Hot and made to order. Yum. Seriously. You must try this place.

23/05/2025: This take out restaurant was fantastic!! Food made with love, by amazing women, that was DELICIOUS!!! We stumbled on Luigi's looking for a lunch out of the train station and what a find. I decided to get the chicken nugget box. It came with lots of yummy fries (chips), a delicious onion ring, and yummy, satisfying nuggets. The food was fresh, quick, and yummy. The women working there were amazing! Fun! and took their work seriously providing a great product, at a very reasonable price. Such a great find!

16/07/2025: In todays changing world it is so nice to find a constant. This family run pub / shop / restaurant is my constant. Been coming here over 50 years. Locals and tourists alike flock to this precious jewel. Nestled in Claddaghduff with stunning view of Omey strand, it is the heartbeat of Claddaghduff. Food is as it should be, no frills, fresh local produce and great value & amazing taste and flavours. Service is 5 star, with " are ya alight , do u need anything else" said with a geniune smile that warms my heart. I have seen 3 generations of the Sweeney family here and each one making it their own and adding their own sparkle to the establishment. Yet keeping its decor and ambience the same. Open crab sandwich on delicious homemade brown bread will be hard to beat anywhere in the country. So if you are looking to recharge and unwind this is the ideal spot.

13/07/2025: Came here on a Sunday night while staying at the Alcock and Brown Hotel. My husband wanted to pop in to listen to some traditional Irish music. We had already eaten dinner and told them we just wanted to sit and listen to music and they were perfectly fine with it. I did, however, ordered their sticky toffee pudding and omg, it was amazing. If came out hot and gooey with a side of vanilla ice cream and topped with berries (and maybe a kumquat?). I devoured it in seconds. My husband got a Guinness and we enjoyed the music.

05/03/2025: Super great, fresh oysters! Very nice employees! They even recommended an oyster farm that we could visit. Also very fair prices for the oysters!

25/06/2025: Always a lovely food experience in Blue Bar. My only negative - the font on the menu is so difficult to read in the light, so a torch and glasses are a must at my age! Good job I usually know what I want to eat. Can't fault anything else, that's why we are return customers.

23/06/2025: It's fine. A bit pricey. Food was nice but the chowder was just ok. Still it's a pleasant place to sit and watch the harbour and the boats

24/05/2025: A lovely warm welcome from Fergus and his staff again. Food was top notch. Ambiance was terriffic. Banter was fab, beautifil art on display and Fergus's knowledge on each piece was fantastic. Get there while you still can

19/05/2025: Lovely food, welcoming environment. Local pub decor inside the restaurant which belied the standard of food. I expected good pub grub and instead was served gourmet, locally caught fish. Best meal of my whole trip. Highly recommend. Staff are lovely and restaurant is group and family friendly

12/07/2025: Wow. The Talbot is terrific, but the staff are absolutely amazing. Rooms are large, bed soft and comfy and, crazy as it sounds, A/C was necessary and effective. The hotel is really special. However, from the minute we walked in the door we felt special. There was no insincere hospitality. This was rich, friendly welcome. At reception, at dinner and in the morning when I wanted to watch an international rugby match, they made it happen. This was personal friendliness at another level. We are sad our stay in Belmullet was only 1 night. The Talbot has been a r3al highlight. .

09/06/2025: Stunning pub with great food and staff.We had 4 nights in bantry and ate here for 3 of those nights as it was so good especially on a Friday when you can get fish and chips wrapped up in newspaper,just how it should be in my opinion and I had a Cajun chicken burger on another night which again was fantastic.Great crack,food and staff made it perfect.if in bantry definitely check out this pub

09/06/2025: We vacationed in Ireland, the second week of May, we were fortunate enough to spend five evenings at the Dingle Bay Hotel. The facility and personnel were absolutely incredible! Our room was second to none, we have stayed in some of the finest hotels in the United States and the suite at the Dingle Bay Hotel was equal to or better than most of the 5 Star Hotels! The entire staff from, from Molly at the front desk to Carolyn and the personnel in the restaurant were extremely Professional, Helpful and very Friendly! Location-Location-Location!!! When you stay at this property, you were in the heart of everything! We look forward to our next trip to the Emerald aisle and we will definitely book the Dingle Bay Hotel! Slainte ☘️

27/05/2025: My husband and I popped into the Dingle Bay hotel for a couple of their seafood salads at lunchtime today , these delicious dishes came replete with fresh seafood, prawns , lobster smoked and fresh salmon, various slaws and sweet piccolo tomatoes accompanied by a generous assortment of seasonal greens, pickled beetroot ,house dressing and homemade pumpkin seed brown bread. Wow, we were both so impressed. We both agreed it was the freshest seafood we have ever had, and we recommend it highly. We can’t wait to return.

01/06/2025: A well run establishment premises are lovely and full of interesting history artifacts staff very friendly and seem to be very good with children food was beautiful and the fish qouted by my husband "was the best fish he has had all year ' and he eats fish every where he goes so that is a major compliment and the menu was reasonably priced well done to all the staff and we wish you a lifetime of sucsefull in businesses and we look forward to returning soon.

05/06/2025: Disappointed. There was a wait between receiving the main and the side dish. The Monkfish was lovely, however the vegetables were Ratatouille, which was a surprise, the potatoes were reheated and overly seasoned with salt, they should have been freshly cooked. They offered to replace the vegetables, but I just wanted to finish the meal and leave.

05/06/2025: We stayed at the Smugglers Inn, a charming seaside hotel in Waterville, Ireland, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff is welcoming and attentive, which contributes greatly to the warm atmosphere of the place. The rooms are functional, clean, and comfortable, ideal for relaxing after a day of driving. As bikers, we also really appreciated the convenient and easily accessible parking. The gourmet restaurant offers a small, refined menu, showcasing quality products, carefully prepared. A truly beautiful restaurant! It should be noted, however, that the prices are a little high, which may put some budgets off, even if the quality is excellent. The establishment also offers a wellness area with a jacuzzi and sauna, accessible for €16 per hour per person. The place is pleasantly located, but it is not a private space, which can be a bit of a shame depending on your expectations.
