Cozy pub with fantastic food, drinks, and great live music !!!

A pub where you can eat and drink at lunchtime and in the evening. There's live music in the evenings; we stumbled upon the one with the little old man who had phenomenal energy for his age—it was really nice.

We spend a few evenings at Ravi's having beers. The personnel is very friendly and there is good live music (very geared towards American tourists though - "take me home, country road"), however the day after it's exactly the same playlist. The last evening we went, we decided to try the food. My friend had a veg-pizza, which was good. And I had a Sri Lankan Chicken Curry. This is actually one of the few Asian dishes on the menu and tasted great (I ordered extra spicy). Exactly what I need that day, because I missed my rice in Ireland. If you sit outside, please beware of the midges.

We went there just for a hot chocolate, which was delicious. A really nice atmosphere with live Irish music in the evenings. And friendly staff.

The oysters, mussels and lamb chops were EXCELLENT! The welcome, service and atmosphere were very pleasant.

Excellent evening filled with music, locals and tourists alike, enjoying a very good meal (which certainly didn't hurt).

The owner (manager?) greets you on-site, which gives the restaurant a very professional feel. Of all the restaurants we ate at during our trip, Ravi's served the best beef and Guinness stew in all of Ireland. The other dishes were excellent. The waitress wasn't very friendly, like almost everyone in Ireland. There was no live music the evening we were there. Reservations are recommended.

Atmosphere was excellent, the traditional Irish music truly made our holiday. The barman however truly let the establishment down. We were poured the wrong drinks, we accepted it as an honest mistake. When ordering more and mentioning the mistake, he then asked us to leave. In his own words, he'd had a very busy bank holiday weekend, however this is no excuse for being inhospitable and rude. It really left a sour taste on our last night visiting Ireland.

Thank you to this restaurant and for the superb service we received! The food is delicious (I recommend the oysters) and the music contributes to the warm atmosphere of this place!
