The willow tree restaurant clifden in Clifden

We got a lovely table for two without a reservation. The welcome, service, and food recommendations were very friendly and professional. The tagliatelle was the best! Kudos to the kitchen.

We haven’t had booking and it was almost end of service. We were welcomed without any problem, got a lovely table on the window. Service was excellent, the staff was incredibly friendly and didn’t make us feel at any point like its time to close. Food was also very good, rich in flavor, beautifully served. We were offered dessert and extras from a chef. Such a lovely place to visit once more and a unique pearl on a map of Connemara.

We visited Clifden on very wet and windy afternoon looking for somewhere to eat. We liked the look of the Willow Tree and the menu so went in. It is such a cosy and welcoming restaurant just made for a relaxing meal. We had the chowder and seafood tagliatelle which were both delicious. It was all served with a friendly smile and chat including some useful advice on the next leg of our road trip. Very happy we chose this restaurant

Very kind and welcoming staff here. We tried fish and chips (top!) and mussels (top top top!). That spicy broth is to die for.

We had a very delicios lamb and rissoto and enjoyed a tasty soufle as a dessert. Amazing food, a clear recommendation!

An excellent restaurant. We had a seafood shandy – it was simply amazing. The staff was very friendly and the food was prepared very quickly. It's a bit pricey, but the quality of the food is excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant and it's easy to have a conversation. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Right in the city center, had a lovely meal outside, baked brie as a starter, then both fish dishes, a nice beer to go with it, sublime💪😋
