02/03/2024: Overall, a small, dark place. Its lovely if that's your preference. Staff was nice and it allows dogs.

30/03/2024: The staff are the best in the country. I had a small accident climbing a mountain and they could not have done more for me. Other hotels could take lessons.

31/03/2024: Genuinely such a lovely cosy restaurant. Yesterday we were in Clifden, the town was so busy and we didn’t expect to find somewhere that would have a table for us. We walked by this restaurant and the menu interested us all. We went in and asked and they said they could fit us in. Within minutes all 6 of us were seated and ordered. Our drinks were brought to the table along with a complimentary cracker and what we think was a crab pâté. Our food was quick to the table. We had ordered Carbonara, Lamb shank, Rib, Seafood chowder, ham and Turkey. Everybody loved everything. The service was amazing, the staff continued to check in everything was perfect. Can’t ask for anything more than amazing service and amazing food. Definetly will return if I’m in Clifden again.

26/03/2024: Welcoming staff who upgraded us when we arrived which was very kind. Interesting local history talk at 6:30pm every evening by a warm fire with complimentary Prosecco. Would recommend this hotel, right by the Sky Road perfect if you’re on the wild Atlantic way.

30/03/2024: If you haven’t been to this wonderful restaurant yet, get your glad rags on immediately! This is the best restaurant with top quality food and wonderful staff! The food was incredible and extremely reasonable for the best mouthwatering food I’ve had in a long time. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

30/03/2024: Update March 2024: The Lamplight has added breakfast/brunch on the weekends and weekdays over the summer. They are open a bit earlier than other places which is nice if you're more of an early riser. The food is also more upscale and updated. Breakfast is hard to find in town and this is a great addition to this awesome little spot From Jan 2022: Truly one of the best dining experiences I've had. We've eaten at the Lamplight once before in Fall 2021. That time, we had an amazing wine and ambiance experience and the food was good. Tonight (January 2022), was just exceptional. The wine selection was impeccable and the food superb. Our server, Ivan, was friendly and knowledgeable. Every bite of food tasted well planned and created with pride. We loved it so much we booked again for this weekend. If you are in Clifden, love amazing food and wine, this is the place to go. Great atmosphere and even better dining.

30/03/2024: Great local pub with a fun atmosphere and goof music. They've recently added a food menu as well. It's pretty typical "American" style bar food. The smash burgers and chicken wings are excellent and often exactly what you need after a few pints.

04/03/2024: When dining here during our stay in Clifden for my youngest daughter's wedding, we had the opportunity to enjoy some truly wonderful meals, served by an attentive staff, here. Some of our guests had traveled extensively in Europe, and said their meals were as good and even better than any they had had anywhere.

12/03/2024: The pub is lovely. The atmosphere was nice, this was a first visit. The food was delicious, very tasty. We had soup and a wrap. Unfortunately the staff did not represent the place very well. The ladies stood at the bar on their phones for most of our visit and one seemed like my partner was disturbing her while he was wanted to pay but she was chatting. I would return for dinner to try more of the menu.

05/04/2024: 🤵🏼‍♂️The staff: very pleasant, welcoming, smiling and attentive. 👨🏼‍🍳🇮🇪 rather fast service, if you want to eat, a specialty taste lamb stew with a good beer, Guinness, a delight. 💈 Restaurant: very warm with an Irish atmosphere, accordion and songs. Value for money 💶: I have been to several restaurants and a lie. The prices are quite reasonable, around €40 per person. (aperitif, main course, dessert) I was not disappointed with this bar restaurant, very good, I recommend it 💚💚

31/03/2024: Very nice ladies serving in Ravi's. Stopped in for coffee and a pint. Will dine here when nect down in Clifden. Highly recommend for service.

05/12/2023: Ordered coffee online well over a month ago and no sign. Have sent multiple emails, Facebook and insta messages with no reply. Rang the number on the website and they said I had a wrong number. Terrible service.

24/11/2023: Concise menu, but the food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. Lots of vegan and veggie options. Service was great.
