Mannions Bar in Clifden

I got the fish and chips and they were wonderful! I also got the sticky toffee pudding. The only thing warm was the chocolate sauce. It was like the took the toffee pudding out of a room temperature pan and placed it on a fancy tray and heated up chocolate sauce from a microwave and poured it on top. The staff were friendly and patient as I struggled a little bit with one of the accents.

We arrived around 7:45 pm on a Wednesday evening. The welcome was very warm… We hadn't booked, but it was outside of school holidays, so no problem… Even though we don't speak English very well, the young woman made the effort to explain things to us in simple terms… T-bone steak/scallops with smoked bacon/mussels… Everything was delicious… We had a very pleasant time

We had a wonderful evening at Mannions! We came for their specialty, the stew, and also enjoyed other seafood dishes on the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and were very warmly welcomed. Highly recommended!

Very good traditional Irish pub/restaurant! I had the best mussels of my life! And my boyfriend had excellent seafood linguine. Simple yet amazing seafood there.

Nice place, good food! Scallops were very nice. You automatically get charged 10% 'gratuity', which wasa bit of a surprise

The Fisherman Pie is excellent 🥧 and the inside is cute too. Recommended
