Off The Square in Clifden

This is an exceptional restaurant of superb food and drinks the service is excellent. The lobster 🦞 is so delicious 🤤 the lamb 🐑 shanks were professional cooked the fell off the bone 🍖. Starters of ribs and wings are also delicious. The deserts are so delicious 🤤

Great place situated in a quiet village. I had an excellent seafood chowder and the leg of lamb. The portion was more than generous, the restaurant was neither crowded nor empty.

I was here with friends on a weekend and the area we sat in was spacious and near the front. For starters, I had the soup of the day (creamy veg) and we were given a mix of white and brown sharing bread. For mains, I had steak with sweet potato chips, onion rings, sauteed onions, mushrooms and pepper sauce. The steak was huge and perfectly cooked. The portion size was huge so I didnt have room for dessert!! The red wine and coffee were also delicious. The staff were attentive and everything was reasonably priced. The staff were obliging when I asked for a candle in my friends dessert for her birthday. I would come here again and recommend to others.

Excellent meal at this restaurant recommended by our hotel: the food was delicious (lamb, beef, fish, they had it all), and the service was top-notch. The only slight drawback was that the atmosphere was perhaps a little too quiet. Very good value for money.

We had a very good meal, and the portions were generous. The price wasn't excessive. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and returned the following evening. We recommend this restaurant.

It's a shame they forgot the bread, otherwise it would have been perfect. I recommend it.
