The Blooming Gorse Café in Clifden

05/04/2024: When we are nearby Clifden we try come to this restaurant. Typically this happens maybe once or two times per year. However, we are quite impressed with stable and high quality of the dishes over the years. This time was just exactly the same again. We were exploring Conemara and decided ad-hoc to make Sky road or go to Mitchell's restaurant if we were lucky to get a table. And, we were lucky :) Very friendly waiter guided us to a first floor's table. We orderered a plate of fresh oysters and another plate of smoked oysters, wich were very fresh and awesome. As well, we got scampi, which were very fresh too. The skin was really crisp and the taste was fantastic.

31/03/2024: Nice Fish restaurant with excellent service! We didn't book sits in advances, but kind waitress found free table for us (2 adult and 1 child) and we started enjoy our lunch. In our order were lamb pie, fish cake, beef burger, chips and oysters. The food was absolutely delicious and gorgeous, despite the busy place we got our order very quickly. Also this place is very neat and tidy! Thanks for the lunch and service!
