No. 35 in Kenmare

We ate there last Saturday, just the two of us. The restaurant is well-run by a family. The service was impeccable and very welcoming and warm without being intrusive.

The best restaurant we’ve been to in Ireland in a very long time! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The staff couldn’t have done enough for us and were so attentive and accommodating. My sister had to step out with the baby for a few minutes, and rather than keeping her food warm, they went above and beyond and made her an entirely new dish when she got back. The food was absolutely delicious, high quality, and fresh. We genuinely couldn’t fault a thing, thank you so much for such a lovely evening!

Lovely night of tasty food and delightful atmosphere. Our enjoyment of the meal was exceeded only by our enjoyment of our host and server, Neil. He was kind, accommodating, and cracked us up. Highest of recommendations.

Lovely spot. Got a walk in at 5 on a Sunday but reservations recommended. Black sole was cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. Great warm service. Short wine list which could be improved but nice reasonably price French Chardonnay. Worth a visit.

Nice place, really looked forward to eating here after reading the reviews, but our experience came up short. Dinner was ok. I had the mussels to start which were good but not great, and the duck leg was nothing to rave about. And I LOVE duck. My wife wasn’t blown away by her meal either. Maybe we’re high maintenance! Service was great, people were friendly and the restaurant itself is beautiful with a great atmosphere.

All 3 of us agreed this was our best meal in Ireland (so far). Flaky perfectly cooked hake fish. My mom had the stuffed mushrooms and boyfriend had the lamb ragout. Definitely make a reservation (even if it's the day of), as it was full on a weeknight. Super friendly and accommodating service. Spot on!

We had a wonderful memorable meal at No 35 on Monday 7th Sept. We both ordered the Special - Black Sole. Fresh, fleshy fish cooked to perfection. Normally not inclined to order dessert, we shared a chocolate mousse creation - wonderful. We were attended to by the personable and knowledgeable Neill who, despite the busy evening, was very attentive. We had a lovely evening.

Delicious food! Great service! I recommend it and will definitely be back on our next visit.

Really enjoyed our visit! The food was excellent, and the staff were sound, friendly, and great craic. A special mention to Denis, who shared a bit of history about the area and gave us some great tips on places to see. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be back!
