Great food. Perfectly cooked and presented black sole. Side salad greens fresh with nice dressing. Apple and berry crumble. Seafood pasta and scampi were good. Pity no lobster. Only cold crab. Walk-in

No. 35 came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. Every dish was just perfect. And the staff were so friendly and welcoming. One of the best meals I’ve had in years.

Habíamos hecho una reserva en este encantador restaurante para nuestra una noche en Kenmare. Estábamos sentados a tiempo arriba, que era una habitación tranquila y acogedora con solo unas pocas mesas. La selección de vinos era buena y tuvimos una comida maravillosa, fácilmente la mejor comida que tuvimos en nuestros 10 días enteros en Irlanda. Comenzamos con la ensalada de pera, nuez moscada y queso azul, una buena porción, fácilmente dividida para dos personas con la cantidad justa de aderezo. Ella volvió sus ojos hacia nosotros la primera vez y la segunda vez cuando regresó con nuestra agua cuando tuvimos una pregunta sobre el vino. Cuando le preguntamos si la estábamos molestando, ella dijo que no, pero procedió a ignorar nuestra mesa el resto de la noche, en particular charlando y sirviendo otras mesas cercanas. No somos clientes difíciles y somos muy atractivos y amables con aquellos que trabajan duro en restaurantes. No dejamos que arruinara nuestra comida. Su falta de servicio se reflejó en su falta de propina y sí hablamos con el gerente a la salida cuando nos preguntó cómo era nuestra comida. Volvería por la comida excepcional, pero pida un servidor diferente.

Number 35 is a true gem in Kenmare town. The Black Soul dish was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Neil, the head waiter, was incredibly knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations, enhancing the whole dining experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and service!

The most gorgeous meal we had during our Ireland trip. We didn’t book ahead but we managed to get a lovely table downstairs. Every dish was amazing with lots of wows and yums from the both of us. We would travel to Kenmare again just to eat here.

The food here is great and the service was too! Some of the highlights were the Irish Lamb Ragu, the Garlic Mushrooms, and the Baked Brie. Definitely call ahead for a reservation, but walk-ins are available.

Delicious food, friendly and attentive service and fairly priced. Very happy!
