Had such a lovely experience for our anniversary, we are from galway Barna and had no idea this gem was close by. Amazing quality food, lovely staff and amazing Guinness.

Had delicious fish and oysters. Everything tastes very fresh. The staff is friendly.

Disappointed with the menu options. I had Salmon (prompted by the waitress) I would say 'bland'!

I only tried the oysters, so I can’t really comment on the full menu, but the oysters were excellent — fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The service was very good as well. Our waiter was knowledgeable, answered every question I had, and explained everything in an interesting and engaging way, which made the experience even better. The place has a very special character and atmosphere of its own. It feels authentic, memorable, and definitely worth a visit. I would happily recommend it.

A wonderful experience at Morans of Galway. The oysters were exceptionally fresh and absolutely delicious, especially paired with a pint of Guinness. 🦪🍺 The setting is beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to sit back and enjoy some excellent Irish seafood. I also tried the seafood chowder, which was rich, hearty and delicious. Great food, a beautiful setting and a warm, welcoming atmosphere — I’d happily return again on my next visit to Galway.

Nestled in a lovely setting, the restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes for seafood lovers. The only slight drawback is the somewhat high pricing considering the portion sizes, although the dishes are very well prepared.

Very well staffed and looked after. Nice menu with lots of good options. Both starters and mains were great in taste and generous portions.

Fantastic food. Crab legs, mussels, smoked salmon, all perfectly cooked. Definitely worth repeating, and in a lovely setting.

Stopped at this little riverside restaurant for oysters on our way from Doolin to Galway. We ate outside which was quite lovely. The native oysters were large and briny, and the oysters thermidor were unique. The staff was friendly and suggested we eat the raw oysters first as our palate would otherwise be overpowered by the oysters thermidor. The interior of the restaurant was quaint and well-done with cozy nooks and crannies.
