Moran's Oyster Cottage in

Perfect oysters and excellent main courses. A good glass of wine to go with it and we were in heaven. Highly recommended. What we didn't know is that you should reserve a table; otherwise, you'll end up at the bar, where you either eat or wait for a free table.

A visit to the west of Ireland is not complete for us without a visit to Moran's. The food, service, & atmosphere are terrific. Warm rhubarb crumble was a special. I you enjoy rhubarb, not to be missed.

Moran’s is exactly what you picture when you imagine an Irish restaurant on the water, but somehow not cliche or touristy at all. It feels perfectly genuine. And it’s the best fish and chips I’ve ever had.

I know everyone gives this great reviews for food… that’s a given, food incredible and worth a journey to get there.. but Anne Marie’s hospitality was so engaging, telling us all about the history of the pub and sourcing of fish and ingredients. Oysters perfection, everything delicious including wine! Can’t recommend enough!

Beautiful restaurant with a warm and cosy atmosphere. Although it was busy at lunchtime, we were seated quickly by the attentive and welcoming staff, who regularly checked in to make sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. The food was absolutely incredible with the chowder was genuinely the best I’ve ever tasted, and the fish was exceptionally fresh and full of flavour. Every part of the experience was outstanding. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

The menu maybe seasonal. There is no mussels and clams on it anymore. And the oyster we want only serve from October to March.
