Ard Bia at Nimmos in Galway

Had a great time here, food was excellent. We ordered the pancakes and the shakshuka. Both dishes were delicious. Great coffee too!

We happened upon this place when dipping out of the rain, but were pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Every inch of this place is an aesthetic that could be in a magazine. In a beautiful stone building right on the water. Their menu is creative and their service, sweet and welcoming. The tea service was a nice perk that I wasn’t expecting, the bread and butter delicious, and the ambiance cozy and warm. They even have notes from other diners in the table which was such a loving touch. I didn’t love my main personally but would be willing to give it another try since the menu is so creative and unique!

Restaurant with original dishes and a lovely, calm atmosphere compared to the crowded restaurants on the main street.

We got the pork belly bap and the ham hash. Both were delicious. Service was fantastic

The gnocchi is absolutely amazing. And the atmosphere is like a cozy cottage. Love everything about this place!

OMG, TASTE SENSORY EXPLOSION! We are visiting Galway, and came across this place. Small little restaurant right by the Spanish Arch along the water. There was a line out the door and well worth the wait. Quaint location, lovely staff and the food was amazing. Starting from the menu, though the presentation, and down the hatch, excellent throughout. Or server Rory was excellent as well. After the mains, barely had room for desserts, but we powered through and well, no regrets here. Everything was great. Gotta try this place. And don't forget to check the table drawers. You'll find a fun surprise!

Lovely little spot right on the river Corrib near the Spanish Arch. Highly recommend booking a table upstairs! The seating is more limited so it feels intimate and like you’re in a cozy home. Fun spot for a date night or dinner with close friends.

Fabulous place. As you can tell from previous reviews, the food and atmosphere were stellar. I wish I had written down the name of our server. She was lovely and helpful and made the evening extra special for us by sharing a bit about her special necklace when we all asked about it. Great wine as well.
