09/12/2024: Really great brunch here last week. Coffee was excellent, food was excellent. Waiting around for 30mins in the cold outside, not so much. All in all, definitely worth the wait.

06/12/2024: Our visit to Ard Bia at Nimmos was a very positive experience. After our arrival we were immediately shown to a table without waiting and our order was taken quickly. The restaurant offers an impressive selection of beers and plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians - a big plus. I ordered the Beef Toast with Onion Salad and Cheddar for €13.80, while my partner chose the “Roasted Pumpkin with Seeds and Irish Cheese” for €16.80. Both dishes were excellent: the seasoning was particularly good and the ingredients were fresh. The toast was crispy and perfectly cooked. The restaurant itself is very clean, and the attentive service ensured that everything was to our satisfaction. The only negative is the toilet - there is only one small, unisex toilet for all guests, which is a bit inconvenient. Overall I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Ard Bia at Nimmos is a great place for fresh, tasty food with good service, but the toilet area could do with some improvement.

03/01/2025: I have been visiting Galway for a few years now and I’d been meaning to go to this place for sometime. Never got the chance till recently. My lord, I am kicking myself for missing out till now! Marvelous food, excellent friendly servers and a cool, calming atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. Place is small and can get filled up quick. So ideal to arrive early on any day of the week to ensure decent seating. Food was served fresh and well prepared. I got the deluxe meal Fried chicken served with poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, crispy potatoes and the most glorious pancakes filled with jalapeños. The dish was perfectly well made. Good presentation too Hope to try one more round before I depart. Thanks very much to the staff and cooks here. They deserve all the praise. Prices do reflect the product. Working in the Industry, I get that things unfortunately have increased in price. Here I don’t feel it’s excessive. They serve good quality food and the price is more than fair. Thanks again!

02/01/2025: Visited here for the first time the other day and had the buttermilk chicken bene and it was delicious. Really nice flavours and well balanced. Also had a mocha which was also very nice. The staff were very friendly, and service was good. I look forward to returning.

18/11/2024: Came here with my wife and had a lovely evening. It is a little hidden gem in Galway city, with authentic food and a lovely wine selection. The hosts are amazing, with top class service. Suggestions were given, and the food that came was really good. Would definitely recommend this to anyone in the city, it is a unique experience and we will be back. Thanks guys!
