Best Irish pub with live folk music in Galway. Visited it many times and I will visit it again when I'm in town.

Went here for the storytelling evening (Rab was AMAZING, an absolute must if you want to experience a core piece of Irish culture which is storytelling), both the vibe and the bartenders were so nice that we went back on a Saturday just to chill and catch some of the live music upstairs. GREAT pub!

Wonderful atmosphere, great helpful staff. Ofcourse good choice of drinks. They have live music and a storyteller evening which was amazing. Be sure to check the website!

Enjoyed an afternoon here with pints, friends, & traditional Irish music on a Sunday afternoon. Seems to be a place for both locals & visitors alike.

The bar is known for its local music scene. The ground floor houses a rather rustic bar, while the first-floor room is where the events and evening live music take place. You have to be quick, especially on weekends; doors open around 6:15 pm, and half an hour later the room is packed. We were hoping to experience the local pub atmosphere, but the place was mostly filled with tourists (including us). The music was nice, but not quite what we had in mind.
