07/05/2026: We got the potato and red onion (soft potatoes but flavorful), spinach and goat cheese (the perfect amount of cheese to spinach), ham (exactly what you’d expect) and one of the best pepperoni (kinda spicy) I’ve ever had. Purchased them all by the slice for reasonable pricing and got them to go in a box instead of eating there. Walked over towards the Spanish arch and sat to eat over there by the water for the view.

05/05/2026: Definitely the best pizza not only in Galway but anywhere I've eaten in Ireland. Always delicious, fragrant, hot... simply perfect. If these guys had a better location, they'd be a hit. 👍👍👍

23/11/2025: All the care is clearly put into the place lookin like a designer vegan instagram coffee shop, but the service and coffee lacks. Was denied a dirty chai, even tho they sell chai lattes. For the price i paid, i was given a baby cappuccino and it tasted more like nuts than coffee. First time in years i poured a coffee down the sink. Ciarlantinis is only a minute up the road, much nicer folks, better prices and tastier coffee.

18/11/2025: The place has three floors, but it mainly operates as an art gallery. In my opinion, it should be takeout only since they don't have a restroom for customers. There's no comfortable space to sit and enjoy your coffee. They serve your drinks in paper cups, and the staff isn't very friendly. Or maybe it was just the day; I don't know. We found it expensive considering the regular coffee is actually quite small. It's quaint, but nothing more than that. The coffee I ordered was cold for my taste, although that's just my personal preference. I wouldn't go back.

10/06/2026: Come here over the weekend for an early dinner with a friend. The food was out of this world, my friend felt his fish was a little on the small side and I probably could have done with a bit more veg on my plate but all in all a good meal and I would certainly return. I had a the pork chop, it was honestly the best I'd ever had. The Guinness was a decent pint too.

20/05/2026: I have organised a trip with my family in total 16 people to Galway and I have found the Menlo Park. I can absolutely recommend this hotel. The location is great, it is a 30 min Walk to the city centre and there is Public transport just in front of the building. The rooms are big and very comfortable, we all slept extremely well. The absolutely highlight is the breakfast, we could have spent hours there, everything is so delicious and the team is great - they make a fantastic service. We were even a bit of melancholic when we left today. It was a super experience and next time for sure we will choose the Menlo Park.

15/05/2026: The most comfortable room I've ever slept in! Very clean and super friendly. Since we were out all day, the construction work on the hotel exterior didn't bother me at all. There are only two floors, a large elevator, a restaurant, a bistro, a 24-hour reception, and incredibly friendly staff!

02/06/2026: Absolutely loved the Irish Coffee. Had my first coffee yesterday, tried one down the street for dinner with disappointment. Had to come back again before I leave town tommy because it was soooo good.

29/05/2026: Had a great time at Garavan’s. We grabbed seats at the bar and ended up having exactly the kind of experience you hope for in an Irish pub. Harry and Dave were awesome, gave us some great whiskey recommendations, and were fun to chat with. The whiskey selection is incredible. Whether you know a lot about whiskey or are just looking to try something new, they’ll point you in the right direction. We also noticed they were constantly making Irish coffees, which looked fantastic. Between the great conversation, friendly staff, and amazing whiskey selection, this was one of our favorite stops in Galway. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town.

19/03/2026: Really lovely food, incredibly prepared variety of fish, and a cozy warm atmosphere. The service was top call, Noel was really fantastic, friendly and extremely knowledgeable on everything on the menu and behind the bar. Great experience overall!

04/06/2026: Came in for a few pints and some live music on a Weds evening. The duo performing was excellent mixing some classic Irish folk songs with covers of some contemporary music. Pints were cold and served quickly.

17/05/2026: Wonderful French restaurant. Excellent food and a very good wine list at absolutely reasonable prices. For a starter, we were treated to a surprise of four different small dishes—all delicious. The duck was amazing, and the steak was perfect. We had a wonderful evening. A must-visit in Galway. 26/05/2026: The drinks are great and great craic at night. However, my husband and I stopped here for dinner one night when looking for seafood and couldn’t get in to the upscale seafood place nearby. 45 minute wait for 2 people at 7:30pm on a Monday-would highly recommended the salted caramel espresso martini-amazing! We ordered the seafood platter and scallops. The oysters had pieces of shell in them and tasted of pure salt water-I love oysters but these were just not that great. The scallops were slightly overcooked as well. I would avoid this place for seafood and stick with drinks and possibly traditional food only.

26/05/2026: Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were told there would be a 30-minute wait, but we were seated within 10 minutes, which was great. We then requested a table closer to the band and were told we could sit at a nearby table for four. However, less than five minutes later, another couple was seated there instead. Naturally, it made me wonder if the color of my skin played a role. Sometimes it’s the small things that can make or break a restaurant experience. This was our first restaurant here, and I’m sure there are better places with friendlier service. Being handed vegetable stew in a to-go box to eat felt inconsiderate and unwelcoming. I’m from Texas — we simply don’t treat people like that. See pic below We had oysters, which were delicious of course being an American from Texas. We are so used to our crackers, and apparently they don’t know what that is. She had no idea what I was talking about. However, I should be grateful that they had Tabasco sauce.

17/05/2026: Had the largest and possibly best grilled cheese ever here. They also had an amazing beer selection if you’re tired of drinking Guinness everywhere.

23/12/2025: Really good food, coffee and staff. The staff are friendly and the service is great. They are accommodating and happy to help. The outdoor covered seating area is very uniquely decorated, and very much adds to the atmosphere. The decor lives up to the cafe name. They provide blankets and heaters so no worries about being cold. The vegan options are delicious, as is the coffee and sweet treats

09/09/2025: Authentic pub with fantastic food! Service was rather mediocre.

09/09/2025: The Skeff is part of the The Skeffington Arms Hotel. Food was very good. The Seafood Chowder and a couple of (non!) Stout beers from other parts of Ireland were a welcomed change of pace. IPA's, actually. One from Letterkenny, and the other from Kill, County Kildare. Other than the service being just a tad slow, it was (overall) very good. And the live music was magical this night. Okay...Not exactly magical, but covers from bands/artists that everyone knows, sung by a group of a youngish band of 3 called The Groev. They did a great job, actually.
