02/07/2025: without a doubt the best coffee shop in Galway. You won’t find a place like it! They always have such an interesting rotation of different coffees and they’re always delicious!

10/11/2025: Having wasted 10 years of my life before accidentally finding the best coffee shop (and so much more) in Galway, then to find it's closing. Such a shame because it really is so good. But at least I also now know of the other & remaining branch: Briarhill Grind here I come!

01/11/2025: Not celiac friendly... Reason: cross contamination possible. I come here to have gluten free fries. I'm celiac it always was great. Last time I think I had the bottom of the cone of my take away chips and I think I accidentally ate that crispy onion that maybe isn't gluten free. BTW I asked my fries with rosemary salt + Garlic Aioli. So the sauce is gluten free chips too. So what I wanted to say I have symptoms for today sore belly and itchy hands.

17/02/2026: Highly recommended...this is our second time here and we're thrilled again...we didn't have a reservation but still got a table...great atmosphere...very friendly staff and amazing food.

12/02/2026: Had food here and unfortunately it ranged from poor(their signature wings) to ok (chowder). The serving staff were quite poor, disinterested and unhelpful. Can’t comment on the bar staff as I didn’t order from them but they were friendly and helpful when we asked them a few questions on our arrival. The thing about employing young staff is that they need to be properly trained and actively managed so that they know how to deal with customers and not come across as if they’re doing you a favour. The pub itself has a good layout and feels like a proper pub so maybe your experience would be better if you’re only drinking.

06/03/2026: I ordered 37 breakfast baps and 5 granola pots and they were all delicious, soft running eggs, perfectly cooked. The granola pots were delicious with fresh berries and big portions. Really impressed!

10/03/2026: Cava Bodega was highly recommended, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The food is exceptional, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. The handsome staff member was especially kind and welcoming, checking in on us occasionally throughout our visit. We ordered a few dishes from the tapas menu, and everything we tried was delicious.

05/03/2026: Excellent food and service. Huge menu, there is just so much to choose from. The spinach and lamb dishes were particular highlights. We always visit Cave when we're in Galway.

23/12/2025: Really good food, coffee and staff. The staff are friendly and the service is great. They are accommodating and happy to help. The outdoor covered seating area is very uniquely decorated, and very much adds to the atmosphere. The decor lives up to the cafe name. They provide blankets and heaters so no worries about being cold. The vegan options are delicious, as is the coffee and sweet treats

18/03/2026: Went here for a quick bite during our day tour from Dublin/cliffs of Moher based on a recommendation from our tour guide. This was kind of tucked away and definitely not as busy places on the main Street of Galway so that made it a little better as we were there on a time crunch. We had the wings and the loaded nachos. The service was friendly and quick and the food that we got was just your typical bar food. We devoured the nachos. Not your typical nachoss that we’d have in America but were delicious nonetheless.

15/02/2026: Had lunch there today. I haven't been for some time. Had seatrout with veg risotto which came with vegetables and potatoes. It was so good and such good value for €19.95. Was offered bread as soon as we sat down (free). Service was exemplary. Will not leave it as long again to visit.

05/12/2025: Ordered on delivero Spicebag had very little chicken in it and any piece was over fried/crispy also weird coating in it Not impressed and would actually like my money back

22/11/2025: How good is this food? My daughter ordered prawn pad Thai noodles. Didn't eat it all. Took the rest home on a 1 hour journey. I stuck it in the microwave for 2 minutes and...... To die for. Absolutely gorgeous. Back on the bus for you girl. 😂

22/02/2026: I absolutely love the food here — everything is always delicious! But what really makes this place special is the excellent service. The girls from Tipperary and Chile are so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They truly make the experience even better. Highly recommend!

19/02/2026: Everything was perfect! We tried both the pub and restaurant sections. Great atmosphere, but consequently noisy. The food was very good, and the desserts too.

22/02/2026: Lovely authentic French restaurant. Limited menu offering fish of the day, duck, striploin steak or fillet of beef. If cooked rare, it is very bloody. If well done, it can be cinderised. Medium is a good option. Steak tasty, if a little chewy. Other dishes were nice. The starters in particular were particularly delicious, as were the desserts. Piano was playing in the background over a lot of chatter. Very attentive service from an international staff. Our lovely waitress was from Brittany. Great night overall. Popular and busy. It is important to book. Ideal for that special occasion. Merci à tour!
