04/03/2026: We called in for a couple of drinks before dinner. We loved the trad music. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was deadly. I'd love to have a place like this near home. It was a small but cosyy pub.

04/04/2026: I had an excellent experience at Cava Bodega. I was a solo diner and still felt like I was able to eat here easily, even with it being tapas. I had the pork belly, patatas bravas and the chorizo with spinach, tomato and chickpeas. They also had a dessert special that was to die for. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent! I would definitely go back if given the opportunity.
04/04/2026: The food was good. We had 6 meals between 2. Pork belly was really nice as was the duck. The Pumpkin Paella was nice but very expensive for the size of it 24e. Ham croquettes were lovely but tiny. The potatoes with ham was ok. The service downstairs was very poor. Food came out in a timely manner but servers were non existent which really let the experience down.

23/12/2025: Really good food, coffee and staff. The staff are friendly and the service is great. They are accommodating and happy to help. The outdoor covered seating area is very uniquely decorated, and very much adds to the atmosphere. The decor lives up to the cafe name.
They provide blankets and heaters so no worries about being cold.
The vegan options are delicious, as is the coffee and sweet treats

Nice mix of young and old regulars.
The youngish barman with the dark hair needs to cheer up and maybe reconsider his career choice though. Really let the experience down.
Lots of tellies for the sport. I'll be back in the area a lot for work but might just stay closer to Galway and go to the bars there. Shame

12/04/2026: 1st time here and was a very good experience, we ordered fish (Cod)and chips portion size was perfect with side of curry and mushy peas, curry sauce was very good and fruity, other was buffalo chicken burger with my friend said was very tasty also curry cheese chips, place was busy but we got a table place very clean and all staff very friendly and professional. Thanks

I come here to have gluten free fries. I'm celiac it always was great. Last time I think I had the bottom of the cone of my take away chips and I think I accidentally ate that crispy onion that maybe isn't gluten free. BTW I asked my fries with rosemary salt + Garlic Aioli. So the sauce is gluten free chips too. So what I wanted to say I have symptoms for today sore belly and itchy hands.
