17/05/2025: A lovely welcome when we walked in the door. We had coffee and some of their tasty treats. The Tunisian citrus lemon and poppy seed is rich, decadent and delicious. The coffee is absolutely excellent served in beautiful hand crafted mugs. Sit in or sit outside, highly recommend this coffee spot.

25/06/2025: Really unfortunate to write this. Had a great couple of drinks and unfortunately the supervisor was rude and refused to serve on the third drink. Also observed aggressive behaviour to others when checking ID and really disrespectful throwing it back at people after accosting them about information nowhere else would ask.
Music for the evening was really good but just unfortunate that travelling over from our home in Glasgow on our last day that we see the unfortunate side of Galway.
24/06/2025: We didn't eat there. But the beer is very good. The gin is good too.
Service was very friendly and quick. Great atmosphere. We'd be happy to go back.

12/07/2025: There's a reason we returned three nights in a row! The fish was delicious and simply cooked. The online reservation and one of the waiters who speaks Italian are a plus!

12/06/2025: I like this place but two days ago i ordered two breakfast rolls takeaway. Clearly someone has not made a roll before, they were a disgrace. Two soggy rolls with a breakfast built on top of them , all the egg on one side , all the sausages piled on one side and cut in half deep fried. Big blocks of black pudding not portioned. I'm still in shock,don't know how someone thinks thats what a breakfast roll is. 25 quid for two nonsense rolls and a coke

21/06/2025: Very nice atmosphere and beautiful decor. Owner came over to give out to us for asking for takeaway cups for sit in. Reason I asked was because I was waiting on a bus and would have to leave quickly. Owner told us not to ask for takeaway cups unless we were leaving. Was quite rude and not very friendly. Have worked in hospitality my whole life was quite a surprising experience.

19/06/2025: Tigín is a gem of a Galway! It's lovely when you can snag a table, but the inside is a bit small so seats are limited. It's also a lovely spot for live music on weekends and the staff are wonderful!

29/06/2025: Food overpriced- burgers are not served with chips. limited regular cocktail menu. As a waitress myself, their service was underwhelming. Service staff and manager speaking about our table and staring at our table clearly speaking about us. Server never came to check on our food or offer us anything else. This place was highly recommended to me for my first time visiting galway, and to say it was underwhelming is me putting it nicely.

Salsa - Authentic Mexican Food

22/06/2025: Weird experience. We went in and they said they have no vegetables, salad or any greens.
It's strange because there are pictures of many dishes with lettuce and veggies in many other reviews.
Either way, I was able to get a nice burrito box which had veggies in the other Mexican only a couple of doors down the same street.

12/07/2025: A charming place on the canal! They served focaccia at the beginning with the most divine olive oil and balsamic vinegar—a fantastic start. Then we got the ravioli starter and spaghetti carbonara. The ravioli knocked it out of the park!! We could've eaten four plates of that, easy. The fresh homemade pasta was the star of the carbonara dish. All in all, good vibes, good service, good food.
