Carroll's on Dominick Street in Galway

My husband and I celebrated Day 2 of our wedding at Carroll’s Bar last weekend, and it absolutely did not disappoint! We had a huge area reserved in the beer garden, which was well used by all of our guests. The bartender who brought us to our area made us feel so welcome and never rushed us or our guests, which really helped us settle in and enjoy the evening. By 8pm, the whole outdoor area was absolutely electric with live music & packed with people as there was a road race on earlier on! We were so grateful that we arrived on time and had our space reserved, as it made everything run so much more smoothly and meant our guests could relax and enjoy themselves without worrying about finding a spot. Aleannah was absolutely lovely to deal with throughout the booking process and made everything so easy. We also ordered food from Botown, which was delivered to us and was absolutely sensational! It was such a gorgeous addition and something we would definitely recommend considering if you're booking an event or party at Carroll’s Bar. Thank you to the whole team for helping make our wedding celebrations so special.

I booked Carroll’s to have one of my best friends leaving party’s as she is emigrating. The atmosphere was fantastic, the space reserved for us was perfect, and the live music was great. On top of all of that, she was able to bring her golden retriever (Milo!) to join in on the celebrations, who was a hit with everyone in the pub. It was so easy to book and Aleannah was so helpful in booking everything. Great experience, would highly recommend! ❤️

Great spot, we booked it for a hen party and it was a highlight of the night. Working with Aleannah was great, she really helped with timing of the booking etc. The Caravans were amazing, music and atmosphere were electric. Would recommend this to anyone

It's really nice that there's a courtyard. Very large. It's great that there are different bars. A very cozy place.

One of the best bars down the Westend end. We were there for a staff party and had a great time. Staff & management were really nice and easy to deal leading up to the night. Have also dealt with the staff in the past and they're always as accommodating as they can be. The atmosphere is fantatsic and they had three different types of music on throughout the night

Had my birthday there at weekend. Was a brilliant night to remember. Music was good. We all enjoyed ourselves.

Wife and I stumbled across this pub walking home from dinner on a summer Thursday night. It was an amazing experience, hard to describe, but maybe like walking into a large Irish musical family's home. About 15 musicians ranging in age from perhaps 80 to 25, sitting in a circle, and jamming out Irish jigs and ballads. Not sure how often it happens, but if it's on, you should go!

Great evening with a group on Friday. Staff very accommodating, atmosphere brilliant. We all had a great night.

Amazing place at a great location, and I'd specifically like to praise the staff. They are very attentive and fast, a drunk guy started a one sided conversation with us and they were immediately on him and sent him out. They patrol the place and make sure everything is fine, but they are very friendly at the same time, if you behave normally.
