The Huntsman Inn in Galway

Had a lovely family meal here. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

right in the heart of galway, lovely rooms and food at the gastro bar! great service and absolute pleasure to have stayed here! clean rooms, carpark space and location!!!

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. The room was fantastic and clean. We had an issue when we were there that someone was opening and closing doors all night and kept us awake. This wasn’t a Huntsman issue, it was a bad guest issue. The Huntsman absolutely made it right and wanted to know what had happened so they could fix it. It’s easy to be good when there are no problems. The best places take care of you when there are problems. Definitely would book the Huntsman again.

Turned the match a lot of us were watching off at half time in favour of the golf, which no one was watching. Offered no explanation when we asked. Assume it was one of the staff that wanted to see it. Had to move on to another place. Usually really nice and welcoming with good food/pints but this was disappointing!

Rooms were very nice and clean. There was construction maybe next door and was very loud to the point we’d get woken up early in the morning and couldn’t get any peace from the constant banging. Every staff member was excellent except for one waitress we had essentially demanded we tip because we were Americans. More than likely wouldn’t stay here again.

I haven't tested the rooms. The meals are delicious, the service is top notch, the staff is very cheerful and friendly.

I had a meal at The Huntsman Inn on Saturday, 24th Feb 2024, with 3 adult members of my family. The food was delicious, especially the seafood curry, which was top-notch. There was a rugby match on that afternoon and so there was a louder atmosphere than some might like but we found it an enjoyable space with very cheerful & helpful staff. We were staying with family and so had no use for the Inn side of the business.

Great spot for a business lunch. Can be very busy so call ahead. Good food and ambience.
