Authentic in an old building worth the detour.

Overall very good food and family friendly. The curry was very good and fish and chips was also very good. My daughter didn’t like the mashed potato too much though.

We had a late lunch here. The food, both meat and fish, and the beer were great. The atmosphere was lovely as well and it felt authentic. The staff was friendly.

On this occasion we just stopped in for drinks. Although there were lots of bar staff and not very many customers, we waited a considerable time to be tended to. Then to be told cocktails were only available at the back bar. I waited at back bar for 5 minutes, no staff. Went to original bar to request a bar person. The staff, when dealing with me, were very pleasant, friendly and made a great cocktail. I very highly recommend the spicy mango margarita. It was extremely gorgeous.

Great place to enjoy a pint and some live music.

This was a welcoming place to sit down with a pint of Guinness. We also had a pint of Galway H Irish pale ale. Very citrusy and refreshing. Made to feel very welcomed sitting at the bar. Great live musical performance by a singer and accompanying guitar player to keep the place alive. Didn't have any of the food, therefore, couldn't rate it.

A typical Irish place, the food is tasty, but the fish of the day is a small portion, so you're a bit unsatisfied, the other dishes are ok, nice drinks, very helpful staff

One of the best places on Galway. Friendly staff, tasty food, nice atmosphere and the best cocktails
