The bar enchanted us. The people, the live music, the atmosphere, the food, and the service were simply wonderful. Gemma, in particular, is a friendly, warm, and incredibly funny server who made our last evening in Galway so special. THANK YOU! Reservations are definitely recommended, or you might get very lucky :)

After having left The Quays across the street because the service was so bad, came here and loved it .. great menu. Super friendly and efficient service , thanks to Ruairi and better value than The Quays . Will come back .

Although the prices may seem high for Italian standards (as in every pub in Ireland), a Guinness and a sandwich that I would define as delicious, meat cooked to perfection, all accompanied by noteworthy chips, highly recommended.

The food was absolutely delicious — we had the beef burger and fish tacos as our main courses, followed by the chocolate pudding and the apple pie. The apple pie was, hands down, the best I’ve ever had. We’d read a few reviews mentioning slow service, but our experience was the complete opposite: service was impeccable and surprisingly fast. The overall atmosphere was fantastic, with live music and genuinely happy customers all around us.

We went on a Sunday evening and it was a live music night! We loved the music and enjoyed our beer. I recommend the Hazy IPA, very refreshing!

I went there to have dinner and watch the fifa World Cup final. The stew was delicious, a great variety of tap beers and ciders and an authentic Irish pub atmosphere. Completely recommend it!

02/06/2026: When we arrived we were given a free upgrade to a bigger suite as it was my birthday .Huge busy hotel .Staff excellent .Rooms spotless .Music in the bar that night was very enjoyable .Have to say that for such a busy hotel I was really impressed at breakfast time at the speed at which everyone was seated .Tables were cleaned .Beverages served .Loads of buffet breakfast availible and food was good too

29/08/2026: We didnt have a reservation but were lucky to get a table as walk ins. The starters were very very good. We ordered the oyesters- very fresh, juicy. Really nice. The beef croquettes were delicious and very light as was the cured salmon. The dark bread that came with the salmon was good too. The main was the battered fish and chips- fish was good and fresh. Not heavy or oily. The service was attentive and we spent an hour here for our meal and beers (party of 2)
