The best restaurants in Galway

16/04/2026: Just got charged 8 euro for a bowl of vegetable soup!!!!!! Just ordinary, everyday vegetable soup! Probably the most expensive bowl of soup in Galway. Fortunately, I'm in job where I can encourage visitors to Galway not to visit this establishment. Shameful and shameless robbery.

09/04/2026: Food was good and its a nice spot. friendly staff.found the menu options were quiet minimal though and its expensive.

28/12/2025: Lovely and reasonably priced. Food was excellent (as you can see by the empty plate) and service quick and friendly.

16/04/2026: The worst place in terms of taste and service. I ordered couscous with meat through Deliveroo, and when it arrived, I found a very small piece of meat, and the broth and vegetables were undercooked and tasteless. Everything seemed frozen, and the order was very small. I contacted them, but they refused to refund my money. You lost a customer. I do not recommend this restaurant

12/04/2026: A hidden gem. Lovely staff. Bring your own wine, no corkage! Falafels and chowder excellent.

30/03/2026: Nice place with two lovely cabins for 4, with a view to the street. The cod was very juice and fresh. Soup of the day was vegetable with some cream... Caesar salad was great!

07/02/2026: Always excellent. I have hadunch there three or four times over the past two months with my husband & son, often getting three different lunches from the menu and on all visits everyone was impressed and very happy with their lunch. They have a very large lunch menu daily.

21/12/2025: Handiest for a take out coffee. Pull up outside and the counter is right beside you. Avoid anti car types and traffic wardens though

19/10/2025: Lovely old style pub which I visited when I was home on holiday. I brought my mother there as this was the pub my father used to drink in years ago.

28/09/2025: Great pub, hyped for the Guinness and rightfully so, full of proper friendly locals, highly recommended.

09/03/2026: We have been there for 2 weeks, they serve us beers several times without any problem, but suddenly they stop and I don’t get it, if you stay true to your policies then follow them no matter what, but if you serve us and then stop serving when we are spending more money than probably people bowling or playing darts I feel betrayed and scam. I thought I found a home to play pool and have a few beers but now we will stop going there. In addition finding a worker for any matter is like playing where’s wally, they hide in the back office for ages, you can even hear the laughs from the front desk. One of the worst customer service I’ve experienced in my life. I hope the owner read this and act somehow. Have a lovely day

11/03/2026: Fantastic food, great portions, really tasty wholesome food. Feels like an authentic family restaurant, and very reasonably priced. We were a party of 5 each with starter, Main course and a drink and the bill was €150 in total. Good menu with plenty of options. Atmosphere/ambience is a little tired and dated but it's not pretentious and is simple and authentic. I would highly recommend!

13/02/2026: Great place to order food, be it for collection or for delivery. Food is delicious, staff is friendly and chatty. Tried their pizza and homemade goujons and they were YUMMY!!!
