06/07/2025: Incredible food, great service! Ate the cold crab on bread, charred cabbage (one of the highlights for sure) and the John Dory (made to perfection, simple but full of flavor). They also have a solid selection of natural wines and beers, and a pro cocktail maker at the bar ;)

12/06/2025: Great little restaurant - I had the Black Cat pasta and it was fantastic. Lots of seafood and very fresh. I highly recommend it, our table also had the friendly farmer breast of chicken and the fish and chips and all were really good. The prices are reasonable and portions are filling.

Mi nieta conmigo me preguntó si tenían panqueques y me dijeron que todo se había ido sin hacer más que era a las 8. 45 (Había mirado la página web que decía que hacen panqueques de suero de mantequilla antes de viajar al hotel) mi nieta estaba muy decepcionada. 02/05/2025: We only stayed for one night. The room was okay, a bit dated. Unfortunately, the breakfast selection was very limited. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There were plenty of parking spaces, and you could also take the bus directly into Galway.

12/07/2025: We had the toasties with salad and seafood chowder. Best seafood chowder we had—creamy and layered, but not too thick. Toasties were solid. Salad was tasty with the thickened balsamic vinegar dressing. Charming (and crowded) place!

12/07/2025: Not nice experience. Staff were unpleasant and rude. Told me to get out of the chair i was sitting at very abruptly and place was empty. Shouted from across the room people looked quite embarrassed really. Food was average mind you had no appetite after that incident.
11/07/2025: We had dinner one night and was amazing the food. During our dinner we noticed Australian sports on the TV. The next day we came back and asked to watch AFL to which the accommodated. The staff were amazing, also giving us recommendations for other places. All the staff were kind and attentive.

15/06/2025: The food was very average and the service was terrible. They gave us the wrong menus and didn't come back for ages, there was no light at the back to see the menus. We had to sit there because it was busy but they didn't warn us in advance. We should have left then. The steak sandwiches that two people in our party had were good but the burger and the chowder and the halloumi chips were not amazing. The kid menu is very plain.
The toilets smell really bad too.
I wouldn't recommend it.

The waitress who serves, from Galway, was just simply the best.
Well worth a visit for good food reasonably priced which is unusual these days.
13/07/2025: Love the food here, best vegetarian curry you can get, reasonably priced and so much food you will struggle to finish, but will because it tastes so good.
Service was a little slow but food worth the wait.

06/06/2025: A decent option for lunch/coffee by the sea. Good views. The design/decor is a bit basic but not too bad. The food is decent as well, I especially liked the chai latte that I ordered and they also have plant based milks which is a plus.

18/06/2025: Walked in and didn’t expect much. The food was off the charts delicious. My special was excellent and unique. And the service was outstanding.
07/06/2025: Wandered in on a Saturday evening. Seats available. Food was excellent and fresh. Distinctly flavored but not trying too hard. The pudding dessert was well balanced not too sweet and savory with an amazing salted caramel ice cream. Good staff and atmosphere.
