The Connacht Hotel - Ruebens Restaurant

02/05/2025: We only stayed for one night. The room was okay, a bit dated. Unfortunately, the breakfast selection was very limited. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There were plenty of parking spaces, and you could also take the bus directly into Galway.
01/05/2025: Spacious room. Comfortable beds, difficult bathtub height if you have problems lifting your legs, bedside lamps with dust.

El personal estaba atento a nuestras necesidades dietéticas y pude escapar de las mismas marcas de Diageo de siempre. Muy recomendable.

23/04/2025: I stayed in the Imperial Hotel for one night. The hotel is in a fantastic location 👌. The room was big and spacious and clean. I tried the breakfast for 15 euros it was ok but could be better there was plenty of food and choice. I would definitely stay in this hotel again
15/04/2025: Very centrally located hotel with super friendly staff. Only the room facilities could be a little better but the other points more than make up for it. Typically Irish.

03/05/2025: Lorenzo is so attentive, welcoming amd passionate about not only his job, but the produce and wine he supplies! Best cheeseboard in Galway without a doubt! Highly recommend this little gem to anyone looking for amazing local and Italian produce along with beautiful wine of course.
02/05/2025: Lorenzo is a king! He was so lovely and attentive all night, gave great suggestions and looked after us. Made sure we had a great night and felt safe! 100% would recommend and will be coming back. Good and wine were delish too, and live music really set the tone!

14/05/2025: Neachtain's had been recommended by friends, so needed to stop there and went for lunch. Both had the salmon chowder which was delicious and pints of Beamish beer (from the Cork County area). Plaque in pavement at base of entry door states Tis Neactain - 1894. Waiter was extremely pleasant and socialable. We swat in one of thee back booth areas that felt extremely old. Nice lunch!
11/05/2025: Probably the best pint of Guinness in Galway. Definitely the best spot to people-watch while drinking them...

01/05/2025: I visit Plant Galway every two week with a few friends to bowl. We always book online and ask for a specific lane which the staff have always managed to sort for us. The lanes are in great condition and the center itself always spotless and well managed. We bowl for 90min and at €71 for up to 6 people it really is great value. I highly recommend for all groups and occasions.
26/04/2025: Fun place to spend the evening bowling and doing many other activities. Would definitely recommend!

26/04/2025: Nice cafe for breakfast with a lot of options! We tried the salmon bagel and club sandwich, both were quick and delicious. The Cafe has beautiful stained glass windows. Coffee was not the best tho.

23/04/2025: This garden centre is an oasis in galway. I love it. The people who work there are so helpful even though they were run off their feet the day I was there. The cafe has that magical touch of hospitality. The toasted cheese sambo was one of the best I’d ever tasted and the tea was perfect! Great spot for a breather. I bought several plants and they thrived last summer in my wild windy garden. The sweetpeas especially flourished and bloomed for weeks. I was so proud of them.
I’ll be back as the fella says.
