07/09/2026: Very disappointed. Got a takeaway with my partner and both of us had severe food poisoning the next day. Horrific cramps, terrible nausea, and vomiting/diarrhea. Do not recommend. There is issues with food hygiene

02/06/2026: When we arrived we were given a free upgrade to a bigger suite as it was my birthday .Huge busy hotel .Staff excellent .Rooms spotless .Music in the bar that night was very enjoyable .Have to say that for such a busy hotel I was really impressed at breakfast time at the speed at which everyone was seated .Tables were cleaned .Beverages served .Loads of buffet breakfast availible and food was good too

03/09/2026: Service is shocking. Workers are the rudest people on the earth. Food is nice but unfortunately the absolute disgraceful behaviour from the workers led us to leave and cancel the order. Very disappointed as this has been an ongoing issue in The Seven.

21/08/2026: I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Spanish restaurant, and it was an incredible experience. The food was absolutely amazing, with each dish offering a unique and delicious taste of authentic Spanish flavors. The drinks were also top-notch, perfectly crafted to complement the meal.The service was great—attentive and friendly, making the evening all the more enjoyable. However, there was one issue that stood out. I found it disappointing that some staff seemed to assume I was a tourist and hinted for tips. This kind of behavior is not acceptable and detracts from an otherwise fantastic experience. Overall, despite this, the exceptional food and drinks make this restaurant worth visiting. Just be mindful of the tipping expectations. Ps. After the tip say good bye properly.

08/06/2026: Absolutely the best pork chop I’ve had in my life. I will never forget it—I closed my eyes for most bites so I could savor it. We asked for a recommendation for dessert and it was ridiculously amazing. The flavors were incredible. The chocolate was so rich it was plenty for four of us to split since we all were full from our incredible meals. Others in our party got a fish entree they loved and the sauce that it came in was so fantastic they used the extra bread to finish it off! 10/10 We will be back next year. 06/06/2026: We had a very odd experience here. We came during our honeymoon after several people recommended we visit while in Galway, but from the moment we arrived, the service felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. We arrived at 6:04 p.m. for our 6:00 p.m. reservation, and from the initial interaction with the host/server, we felt as though we were somehow in trouble. After reading other reviews, it seems that unfriendly service may not be an isolated issue. I’ve have never left a negative restaurant review before, but our experience warranted one. A couple seated next to us, who arrived after we did, received their meals significantly sooner than we did. In fact, they had already finished their mains and were ordering dessert before our entrees even arrived. I ordered the steak, which was served with a single slice of tomato on top. The couple next to us ordered the same dish, and theirs came with multiple slices of tomato as an accompaniment. I understand that presentation can vary, but the difference between one slice and several seemed unusually inconsistent. My wife ordered the scallops and received only three scallops. Photos online clearly show the same dish being served with noticeably more. I understand portion sizes can vary, but the difference was substantial enough to stand out. After our plates were cleared, we sat for approximately 10–15 minutes without anyone checking on us. Apparently, the server asked my wife about dessert while I was in the restroom, but when I returned, we waited another five minutes before I finally had to ask for the bill myself. Throughout the evening, we felt largely ignored. Looking back, I don’t believe anyone ever asked how our meals were. My family owns a restaurant, so I understand that service can suffer when staff are overwhelmed. That wasn’t the case here. The server walked past our table multiple times and never once acknowledged us or checked in. Out of habit from the United States, I still left a generous tip, but in hindsight I wish I hadn’t. We left feeling genuinely disappointed by the cold and dismissive service. It was certainly not the dining experience we had hoped for during our honeymoon in Galway.

11/09/2026: Very rude staff. Got turned away because one of us was wearing a Stetson. He said we were on a stag and there was only two of us wanting a pint of Guinness. Will never go back.

21/08/2026: Super customer service, keep going guys!! Felt very welcomed and so worth the wait. We are tourists and had breakfasts this morning and it was delicious and adaptable aswell. Couldn’t ask for anything more!

09/08/2026: Super nice local spot, a breath of fresh air after the hustle and bustle of Galway city. Lots of choice and beautifully presented dishes. Highly recommended for breakfast and lunch!

14/09/2026: The focaccia bread and potatoes were good. However, all three of the entrees we ordered missed the mark. There was too much salt in a dish, not enough seasoning in another, and the cacio e pepe was nearly inedible with the overpowering amount of black pepper (not at all creamy/cheesy). Maybe it was an off day, but would not recommend.

08/09/2026: On a whim, we booked a table online just a few hours in advance. The service was excellent and the food phenomenal. If you're looking for truly great Italian cuisine in a beautiful setting, this is the place to go.

10/11/2025: Having wasted 10 years of my life before accidentally finding the best coffee shop (and so much more) in Galway, then to find it's closing. Such a shame because it really is so good. But at least I also now know of the other & remaining branch: Briarhill Grind here I come!

23/08/2026: Fantastic night in fantastic surroundings with the Connaught Rugby pitch in the middle and supporters stand overlooking the back straight of the track, great racing with great views!!
