22/07/2026: I had a wonderful stay at the hotel🤗👍❤️ ( Room 236,July 19) The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help(Reception lady’s are the best😘☺️) My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained(Thank you accommodation team👍🤗) The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options( The staff is always smiling and kind (A special thank you to the handsome young man at the hot breakfast buffet! He always starts the morning with a warm smile and puts me in a great mood😃 His friendly attitude and positive energy made every breakfast even more enjoyable🤗😘☺️) Thank you for your excellent hospitality !!! I truly enjoyed my stay and would be happy to return in the future again😘🤗❤️👍 KARINA❤️

29/06/2026: Wanted to like this hotel. Good breakfast, decent location. They told us we “upgraded”: to a room overlooking an active construction zone. First thing in the morning and then throughout to day there was jackhammering, drilling, shouting right outside our room that rattled the window. They cut off the power which killed the hot water during the shower. Far from a peaceful and relaxing stay. Manager Harry was terrible, tried the “gotcha” of asking if we had reported the problems when they occurred. He had no answer when he learned we had, not even a free drink or comped breakfast offered. Even if the construction is done, their attitude about how to deal with problems will remain.

11/09/2026: Very friendly staff. Good burger, crazy friday. Uncle had the fish, cousin here saying limrick chippers are better. He says chips are dry apparently nico makes better chips. Tom likes riding horses, near loughrea. Tom has his own horse, he keeps his horse there. He still hasnt asked me to help. Im a mad bastard

07/09/2026: I ordered a bento cake online from Canada and the whole process was so easy. Elite Cakes Bakery were very responsive and helpful when arranging the delivery, which made ordering from abroad completely stress-free. The cake arrived exactly as shown on their website and looked beautiful. Most importantly, I was told it was absolutely delicious and was devoured very enthusiastically! Really happy with the whole experience and would definitely recommend.

13/06/2026: On the recommendation of our wedding planner, we ordered a small wedding cake online here. It was absolutely beautiful and delicious. The wedding planner picked it up the day before the celebration and kept it chilled at our venue. The ordering and payment process was seamless. We can definitely recommend them 😊

07/01/2026: By far the best coffee in Galway City. David is a fabulous man who has such a passion for coffee. The effort he goes to every day to pour “perfection in a cup” has to be applauded. It’s certainly not an ordinary coffee shop, expect something different and be pleasantly surprised. A great coffee experience & one you will remember.

27/05/2026: Lovely local coffee spot for the summer ☀️☕ Stopped by for a coffee and honestly such a nice place to sit, relax and enjoy the Galway sunshine. Great atmosphere, friendly service and a perfect little outdoor area to slow down for a few minutes and watch the world go by. The coffee was really good and the whole place has that simple local vibe that makes you want to come back again. Definitely a great spot during the summer if you’re around Galway and looking for a nice coffee break

05/09/2026: Great boozer. Possibly the best pint of Guinness in Galway. Certainly the best I had. Great food and also has a huge covered beer garden. What's not to like. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending. If in Galway it's a must.

05/09/2026: Rang up the Pucan on Friday looking to book three tables for 18 of us who wanted to head into town for the Katie Taylor fight. Asked whether they where showing it or not and they said they would be showing the whole thing. Went in early to get pints and secure the seats. 7 o clock arrived, no sign of the event on the big screen, 8 o clock asked bar staff and they said it would be on at 10 o clock. Eventually it was put on the big screen, LATE. The Pucan advertised this event on their Facebook page as starting at 7, it never did. Instead they decided to show the Celtic match for 8 Scottish tourists sitting in the smoking area. This is complete and utter disrespect for one of Ireland greatest female athletes and it displays An Pucans respect for female sports which is zero. What she has done throughout her career has been amazing for women's sports in general, her legacy will be unmatched for a generation, she is a hero of my own daughter. Security, bar staff all unhelpful, go to a different pub for your sports. Honestly, just don't go here. We left straight after the fight and will never return.

20/08/2026: Excellent food. Service was fantastic. We went in about 45 mins before closing and everything was perfect. Our server was so nice, she was attentive and knowledgeable when recommending a local beer. The burger was 10/10 no notes. A definite try in Galway

18/08/2026: Oh oh no no no! I’m genuinely shocked by how this was handled. I ordered food through Just Eat, and when the courier arrived, I saw him urinating in my garden while he was holding my food. Because of that, I did not accept the food at all. I contacted the restaurant immediately and explained what had happened, but their response was essentially, “Sorry, there’s nothing we can do.” So I was left without the food and still charged the full bill. A customer should not be expected to pay for an order they could not reasonably accept after witnessing such a serious hygiene issue during the delivery. Extremely disappointing response from the restaurant.

15/08/2026: Great place to have find. Might be a little busier on weekends but it’s worth spending time there.

23/09/2026: Best Burger Ever! We had dinner here on Tuesday night and ordered the beef burger. I can honestly tell you it was the best beef burger I'd ever had! Service was lovely and the live music very good. We had a wonderful evening here! If I ever return to Galway I will definitely come back for this burger.

15/09/2026: Top tier cheese platter, Guinness stew, tortellini, and of course pints of Guinness. Staff were accommodating of us switching to the Liverpool UCL match instead of Arsenal (since we want to see more than 1 set-piece goal per match). Atmosphere is dark and cozy, and there was live music from 5:30-7:30 on the Wednesday we were there. Came with a coupon for a free Guinness pint but stayed for the match and great food!

22/08/2026: Lovely food.. BUT VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT they DECIDED TO ADD 10% GRATUITY TO BILL. Because of that i consider it is not worth a revisit.. Please note GRATUITY is at client's discretion. So to conclude we were overcharged. Shame on them

24/09/2026: Food was standard and pricey. but the beer is top notch a great collection. There midweek busy with but really no atmosphere. I'd recommend cause of the beer selection

18/09/2026: I personally really enjoyed it and discovered the Ostara Stout, but that wasn't all! The bar is very large with a big room at the back. Gamers gather there and create a lively atmosphere. We enjoyed our dinner in a warm and peaceful setting.

22/08/2026: Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the mussels with curry. Everyone was very friendly.

21/08/2026: I can not praise the Buddha Bar and its staff enough. My wife, daughter and myself dined there last night. Jana, Tom and staff could not have been more welcoming and gave us great menu advice. The food was top class and with very generous portions. We enjoyed three starters, three main courses and six drinks which cost 138 euro, which I feel for a City center restaurant offered great value. I would highly recommend and will be back with friends. Thank you for a lovely evening.

28/08/2026: Good workers, the idea is great but I would like to them to make real their promises, I lost 20€ waiting a reserved sealed product that never arrived (for me, but the rest had their reserved one), not even a message explaining the situation. Also, so expensive sealed products.

28/08/2026: If you love a board game cafe you will love this place! Nice to sit down for a few minutes in the middle of your day if you are touring.

28/08/2026: I was in Galway with my wife “The Boss” and I looked at google maps to find a nice family run restaurant for lunch whin I discovered this lovely French bakery and it was only 6 minutes drive from where I was. The bakery is very homely with a lovely old style about it. My wife had a croissant with Swiss cheese and ham, I had a sourdough baguette filled with chicken and salad, we both had very decent mugs of tea. I have to say that the croissant was delicious and the baguette had a lovely crust. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We talked to the owner before we left and complemented her bakery and staff and of course she is French. I can highly recommend this bakery. And while you are there tryout the greengrocers next door.

28/08/2026: Excellent croissants and sandwiches. The bread is particularly tasty.

30/08/2026: Butlers Chocolate Café in Galway is located in the heart of the city and is renowned for its excellent service and wide selection of artisanal coffees, pralines, and the famous Butlers Hot Chocolate.
