28/10/2025: Always busy but they manage to get through the rush without much of a fuss or rushing anyone. Would recommend the breakfast burrito - those waffle fries are a solid 10/10.

12/11/2025: Lovely pan asian restaurant in the heart of Galway city with lots of varied options on the menu to suit everyone's taste. Reasonably priced with a varied cocktail menu also on offer.

01/12/2025: This place has gone downhill since the era of Fat Freddys. Chewy chicken, arrabiata was more like sweet and sour sauce than traditional spicy Italian. Waiting staff friendly but food needs to return to previous standards. I didn't appreciate reggaeton music playing all of the time.

30/11/2025: The waitress, Emanuela, is very kind and polite, and friendly with everyone. The Italian food is very consistent with authentic Italian cuisine and is very good. Recommended by an Italian.

30/11/2025: Blackrock Cottage is a delightful coffee stop with panoramic bay views. The relaxed, rustic vibe is perfect for a leisurely morning out of the bustle. they offer a full indoor restaurant and or the back has acai bowls and coffee

30/11/2025: We were there last night for my mum's birthday – a gang of us. I can honestly say it was the best restaurant I have ever eaten in. Every dish, from the bread to the desserts, demonstrated a high level of attention to ingredients and flavour. Great value for money also and an unbelievable location. I can 100% recommend the restauarant and you will not be disappointed at all.

12/11/2025: Went here 3 times in the past never had a problem. Tried to go today with my 1 year old 2 friends and my partner. The waitress made me feel so unwelcome. Made me feel like it was an issue that I had a baby and a stroller. Felt really uncomfortable and embarrassed we ended up leaving after 5 minutes and not getting anything. Don’t treat young parents who are just trying to go out and enjoy themselves like that, I have just as much right as anyone to go into the restaurant. Wouldn’t go here again after that treatment. Shameful

04/12/2025: A very pleasant and welcoming place. The pancakes are without a doubt the best in Ireland — always delicious and perfectly made. The service is excellent, especially from the lovely Beatriz, who is always ready to recommend the best flavors with great kindness. Definitely our favorite meeting spot in the city!!

10/11/2025: I had very high expectations when coming here! Fresh delicious doughnuts and nerdy magic the gathering space. I finally got here on vacation and I was disappointed. The doughnuts were not good and tasted days old. Selection was also slim as doughnut shelf was almost empty. Coffee was okay. We had to pay for a gaming table which was small and cramped. No one was playing magic , which is not the venues fault though. There were a few tables with warhammer and one with a board game. I’m used to much bigger shops in Seattle. Perhaps this is the norm for Galway or Ireland. The place does sell games and seems to have a decent selection. I wouldn’t recommend for playing magic though.

22/10/2025: the staff was so friendly, above and beyond , the woman behind the till let us leave our purchase behind the till while we continued shopping , was just a really nice gesture. will be back !!

11/11/2025: Had accident in car park whilst exiting my car resulting in badly cut wrist. On entering the restaurant they dressed my wrist and made me comfortable. Only having one hand they assisted me in eating my meal. Exerlant service.
