21/12/2024: Myself and one of my friends had the teriyaki chicken don and it tasted so good. The chicken was marinated and the rice mixed with the sauce was heavenly and a great mix of savoury and sweet. The egg was chopped up very finely and had a soft texture and the green beans had a very refreshing flavour and I think it was blanched so it had a very refreshing crunch to it! Some of the juices sunk down to the bottom of the bowl and it was such a sweet and delicious flavour. I would say we waited quite a while but there was only one cook when we went so it made sense. The inside is decorated really well and the atmosphere felt really welcoming. My other friend had the tempura sushi roll and miso soup and she really enjoyed it. Price wise, you are definitely getting more than what you paid for. I've paid more in other restaurants for less amounts of food. I paid €18 for the teriyaki chicken don and I would definitely say I got my money's worth. The wait was like 40 minutes for 3 people and it was quite empty, so if you are on a tight schedule you might not want to go, but I personally don't mind waiting 40 minutes for a meal. 10/10 I would really recommend to go and I'm definitely going again!! 🤤🤤🙏🙏

06/10/2025: Don't waste your money. Food was terrible and obviously chips were just frozen from a bag. Staff were barely out of school and had the social skills to match. Rude and didnt smile or make eye contact, one was even vaping as we paid our bill. Seems like a tourist trap because of the building but there were so many other places with vastly better food and service, go there instead.

09/09/2025: 2:00pm Monday 8th of September 2025 witnessed the most atrocious service by two men employees which I think stemmed from the manager on shift, now upon arrival with my brother we had a super friendly attitude but were met with a gruelling response of negativity and with one of the employees, not even a response to “hello” completely blanked, I got a cocktail and was shocked to find out they had no spoons and hesitated to provide me with one because my cocktail he made was undrinkable more icy than cocktail, nasty really, lack of training I’d assume. Since my exit without a goodbye, trying to put a finger on the real issue here, this may sound biased, but not making all this up, nobody could make up such incidents. All said I’ve visited before and received great response from a blonde girl, not all bad.

14/09/2025: What a fun little slice of nerd heaven! Stopped in with my family and had to grab some of their custom dice and take a look around. The owner (?) was incredibly nice and even gave my four year old a Pokémon card just for being such a trooper while we were there. We will definitely be back whenever we are in Galway

13/09/2025: Don't ask for a pornstar martini.. They tell you they'll give you something similar but the only similarity is the price. Horrible glass of grapefruit and prosecco

27/09/2025: Very noisy, busy, slow, queues. Food is OK but nothing fantastic. Staff are not very helpful.

24/09/2025: I’m in Galway twice a week for work and this café has become my regular stop without fail. The coffee is always delicious, and their breakfast burrito is a real standout — not easy to find in Dublin, never mind Galway! I tried it once and now I get it every single time. Great spot with consistently good food and coffee.

14/10/2025: Three of us came on monday night 13th . we ordred grill lamb and burger meal and turkish pide . the food were very tasty and very big potion. Staffs are nice .. we will come back .

13/10/2025: We went there for a fancy dinner and we enjoyed every minute. Lovely cocktails and the food was impressive. We ordered Green Thai curry mussels and squid as starters and then Duck and Rib eye as mains, unfortunately we were too full for desserts. Both meats were exceptionally tender. Friendly staff and very attentive to detail. This is definitely a place to recommend in Galway. I'm looking forward to visit The Buddha Bar.

05/09/2025: Like every where else, it has got expensive but the choice of food and the quality of food is just fantastic. Staff as always were very helpful and friendly. Service was brilliant 👏, highly recommend

30/09/2025: As a tapas place not favorite. The portions are really more for two people doing single bites than anything communal. BUT as a latin place...it's outrageous. The chicken tacos were beyond delicious. Would just do those and an order of rice and beans and be beyond happy. Would recommend ordering for yourself like it's a meal and you won't be disappointed.
