20/09/2024: Romantic and endearing family project to which I wish the best possible future, in its current location or in a new one. Fresh, fun idea, with a lot of potential. I hope it continues and goes further. Running a business costs a lot and when you discover life bets like this young Polish restaurant, you can only position yourself in your favor. Powodzenia!

13/06/2025: We had breakfast here yesterday (scrambled with feta and tomatoes and breakfast sandwich). The food was excellent and we were so glad we followed the other reviews.
Highly recommend!
13/05/2025: Cozy and welcoming atmosphere, the staff is so nice. The food and drinks are also delicious, I recommend the baked goods!

15/07/2025: Called in for Coffee and a Bar of Chocolate when I stopped in Salthill. Very reasonable priced. The sky was so low and visibility bad for driving just needed some coffee. Didn't know food was available

21/06/2025: Lovely place serving good food and has a good ambience.
The staff is lovely and they have a good vegan and vegetarian options. We tried their burger and halloumi pesto toasted sandwich which was delicious. They had limited options in cold drinks, just the canned and boxed stuff. It would be great if they had milkshake options too, considering the summer.
I would definitely go again to try their desserts as they appeared quite tempting.

Salthill Hotel

13/07/2025: We were very disappointed with our stay. Our room had no air conditioning, making it extremely uncomfortable and hard to sleep in. We were given a small desk fan, but it wasn’t enough, and reception said there was nothing else they could do.
The view from our room was just a big dirty shed (photo attached), with a filthy window ledge and poor maintenance outside. Inside the room, there was sellotape holding a rip in the wallpaper, which shows the lack of care for upkeep.
Overall, this was not the experience we expected and we would not stay again.
It’s a shame, as the location was good, and have to say a lot of the staff I found to be pleasant too.

24/06/2025: Patty was the most incredible sushi chef that I have ever seen! I eat a lot of sushi. OMG ordinarily I do not do dessert but his Sake infused, deconstructed cheese cake was delicious AND beautiful. I wish that he had a transporter so I could just pop in whenever I wanted.
21/06/2025: We had dinner on the 20th of june at this wonderful restaurant. First of all, the chef took us in even if he was about to close (still sorry for that). We had the small sushi plater to share and oysters as an extra, which were perfectly balanced between acidity, freshness and spicyness. During the whole dinner, we had wonderful conversations with the chef, which really showed us his commitment to Japanese traditions. The nigiri were out of this world (especially the torched salmon belly). His technique was on point and the fact it is a sushi bar really showed us the skills of his sleight of hand. Our only regret was that we were only in Galway as tourist and won’t be able to come back until a long time!!!!

15/06/2025: I thought the claim of “best pancakes” was maybe overshooting things, but honestly I could see it. These were thick, fluffy, and filling, the fruit was fresh, and even the sausages were good. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a sweeter breakfast or brunch option.

Menlo Park Hotel

17/06/2025: Stayed here when I was in Galway for a 2 day course for work. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. A free breakfast was included in my stay which was lovely. The location is a little far away from town but the town bus is directly outside the hotel which is great.
18/04/2025: This is our last stop for 3 nights. But when we came here, they told us our stay doesn't start till the day after. The hotel found out that's an error on their system, so they found us a nearby hotel as it was fully booked that night. We decided to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant before heading out. Out of expectation, they offered to pay for our meal, our taxi to the new hotel. When we come back the next day, they upgraded us to a suite room with such amazing view of Galway city and left a lovely note with a box of chocolate. What a great customer service! Highly recommend this hotel. They went above and beyond to ensure we have an enjoyable stay and we surely did!

19/06/2025: We absolutely adored the food here! The peanut sauce on the chicken satay made me want to lick the plate! The yellow curry was perfect and my husband loved his beef panang! We were so happy with our choice eating here!
19/06/2025: Have eaten here a number of times and the food is always good. Staff tend to be a bit pushy when it comes to clearing tables for the next sitting. The decor has recently been upgraded and have given the place a good facelift.

10/07/2025: We had a nice dinner here. We ordered 2 fish and chips, 1 chicken Cesar salad, 1 jalapeño burger and a mac and cheese. The fish and chips' batter was crunchy and the fish was moist. The salad portion was large and it had a lot of chicken. The burger had the right amount of spice. The mac and cheese was dry. We would have liked it to be cheesier.
09/07/2025: Walked in and didn’t see anyone working in the front of the restaurant so we walked to the back and stood around waiting to be seated until we ultimately sat ourselves at a table.
We had to wait a while for a menu to be brought to the table. We ordered the jalepeno burger, the fish finger blaa, and the Cajun chicken blaa. The food was okay. We had to wait awhile to get another drink and it was a matter of flagging the waiter down. They had a live bland and were playing it over the speakers in the back where we were sitting but then changed it to the radio so we could hear both the live music and radio. We ultimately decided to leave and go to another pub due to service
