The best restaurants in Galway

05/07/2026: The two pasta dishes we ordered, including the ravioli at the bar, were excellent. The waitresses were very kind despite our very poor English. You could tell they genuinely wanted to fully satisfy the customer.

02/07/2026: Great food and good service. The carbonara metodo classico tasted amazing! The spaghetti pomodoro was good too. The portion size was good, but the food was so good I wished that I could've had more😄 Beautiful restaurant with a nice vibe to it. The staff was helpful and checked in on us from time to time. The restroom is accessible for any kind of individual which isn't very common. Very cool place!

19/07/2026: Ordered online to radisson red, got a call when there, easy 👍

05/07/2026: We ordered takeout pepperoni and mushroom pizza and garlic bread with marinara sauce. I am not sure if it was a language barrier thing on my part or what but we received ranch instead of marinara. The bread was not edible it was like rubber. The pizza was ok and really could have been cooked longer. The service was friendly and quick and the atmosphere was very lively.

04/08/2026: We got seated right away for lunch. It looks small but they have lots of different areas to sit. The service was great. All the food was wonderful. We had the Bao buns, the lamb kofta, the chowder and the pancakes.

02/08/2026: As an Aussie, I am lucky enough to get great steaks back home. This was the best steak I have ever had abroad, the courses, drinks and service was amazing and really added to our time in Galway. Hope to go back one day.

22/06/2026: Great place to visit with friends and family. The Planet has a fun atmosphere, plenty to do, and something for all ages. The facilities are well maintained, and everything is clean and organised. The staff are friendly and helpful, and it's clear they work hard to make sure everyone has a good experience. Whether you're there for bowling, arcade games, or just a bit of fun, it's always an enjoyable visit. I've been a few times and have always had a great experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun day or evening out in Galway.

21/07/2026: tried to find best kebab place in galway doing the WAW and visited this place with great hope seeing reviews and pictures. only had a chicken kebab wrap and it was just average. little meat in the wrap and a lot of lettuce. it tasted ok however never really filled me. was hungry short time after.

20/07/2026: Ordered Doner lamb kebab, meat smelled and tasted off, was simply disgusting. Intead of serving crap throw it into the bin, food poisoning is not fun. Bread, veg and sauces were ok.

05/06/2026: The place was nice and the waitresses were very friendly and helpful. I had a fish and chips that was huge, and the fries were good but the fish didn’t taste like much, and the batter wasn’t cooked enough, so it was a bit raw and soggy.

02/07/2026: This is a fabulous pub! We visited when it was very quiet, on a mid-week early afternoon, so we kinda had the place to ourselves. The barman was very attentive, friendly, helpful and happy to chat and answer any questions we had. Great decor, nice chilled atmosphere. The beers we had (Smithwicks & Beamish) were absolute beauties! Quality beer, well kept! Highly recommend this place, fantastic!

29/04/2026: The barista lady is super welcoming and brews the best cappucino in town! The bakery items are also delicious! So glad to have found this coffee house.

20/04/2026: I loved everything about this place. The batch brew was excellent, the atmosphere and interior were lovely and I enjoyed chatting with the barista. I would definitely recommend it, especially to specialty coffee lovers. They also have really good (vegan) cake.

29/06/2026: The owners were so kind and interesting when we stopped in for wine when waiting for laundry. We didn't order a charcuterie but it looked beautiful! I hope they enjoy their New York trip!

13/07/2026: What an awesome experience! Our Air BnB in Galway was right next door and we decided to try Spice India. We were greeted by the sweetest servers and ordered a ton for the 4 of us. We got the appetizer chicken tikka, butter lamb masala, chicken 65 curry and the next dish - the Chettinad lamb. Everything was delicious. The lamb was tender. The service was excellent. Hoping to squeeze in one more visit before we leave!

09/09/2025: Its such a shame this place is so hidden!! Hopefully we can make it less 'hidden gem' and more 'fan favorite.' I've never had a better cup of coffee in Galway and the deals they have on are insane. If you want the CHEAPEST and BEST cup of coffee you've had, its worth the trip. Not to mention the owner is so incredibly kind and knowledgeable about what hes doing. There's an outdoor seat and and the food was so good for such a cute little sandwich. I genuinely wish them the best success and if anyone in the park hasn't checked them out, they should!
