07/03/2025: This coffee heaven! If you put The quality of The coffee on The top, this IS The Place. Moist carrotcake with citros acidity/zest flows with you to coffee heaven.

19/02/2025: Had an excellent cappuccino and lemon cake. Friendly staff in a small, quiet shop. Liked the big, shared table.

28/02/2025: I lived in Galway for two years and one of my biggest regrets is that I only came here once. The breakfast sandwich here should win an award. Hands down the absolute best breakfast sandwich I have ever had and I love my breakfast sandwiches. I literally had to put my baby down so I could fully enjoy the experience of eating this sandwich. This place is a hidden gem and I would wait hours if I had to just to eat here again.

05/01/2025: Hemos cenado aquí en cada descanso que hemos tenido en Galway en los últimos años. La elección de alimentos a base de plantas es excepcional. Tuvimos brunch aquí este fin de semana en 2 ocasiones y no podía creer que había sido incluso mejor que hace unos meses. El chef/s debe estar súper orgulloso. Los dedos de tofish ( el mejor que he tenido ) , Veet Philly , tostadas “mozzarella” & patatas especiadas estaban súper !

16/12/2024: Muy bonito café con personal muy agradable y buena comida. El ambiente es encantador y tranquilo y recomendaría este lugar para el desayuno. Tenía las tortitas y un batido y estaban deliciosos.

06/10/2024: Absolutely gorgeous donuts, fresh out of the fryer. Perfect amount of sugar, and a choice of cinnamon or cocoa or both. Dan is lovely too, you won't regret waiting in line.

05/09/2024: I’ve been enjoying my chai latte from this coffee van every day during the caravan show, and it’s easily become my favorite part of the morning! The barista is friendly and always remember my order, making me feel like a valued customer every time. The chai latte is perfectly balanced—not too sweet and always at the ideal temperature. The service is quick, even when there’s a line, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. If you’re at the show, make sure to stop by for a great start to your day!

10/03/2025: Had a great meal at this Irish restaurant in the heart of Galway. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly—tender and full of flavor. You can really tell they use good-quality ingredients. The service was excellent, super friendly and efficient, even though the place was busy. It’s in a great central location, right in the middle of the city, so it’s always lively. For being in such a prime spot, the prices are really fair, which was a nice surprise. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Galway and looking for good Irish food!

15/02/2025: This restaurant is labeled as Irish, but that’s misleading—it’s an American restaurant. As soon as we sat down, we noticed a glass with red lipstick on it—not a faint mark, but very noticeable. When we asked the waiter for a replacement, she didn’t apologize or acknowledge the issue. Instead, she seemed annoyed with us, which was disappointing. I decided to let it go, but it set the tone for the night. The oysters were great, but everything else was below average. The mac and cheese with truffle had barely any truffle, making it overpriced and underwhelming. My kid’s order didn’t arrive until we were already finishing our meal, which speaks to how disorganized the service was. This all happened while the owner was overseeing our table. The restaurant wasn’t busy, and while he made small talk and tried to be friendly, what we really needed was for the food to actually arrive on time. Instead, he barely acknowledged the issues and brushed them off like they weren’t a big deal. The tables didn’t feel particularly clean and gave more of a café vibe than a proper restaurant. By the end of the night, the waiters switched, and the new ones were much friendlier and more attentive. But overall, it’s clear this restaurant is struggling.

22/03/2025: The sushi is truly excellent- the fried dumplings however were dry and over done to my taste. The price is a little high but Would still definitely recommend it.

15/03/2025: WA SUSHI has authentic ambiance and meticulous attention to detail. The sushi was incredibly fresh. The tofu pockets were very filling. The service was impeccable, with staff knowledgeable and eager to enhance the dining experience. The presentation of each dish was a visual feast, a testament to the chef's artistry . The restaurant's atmosphere, a blend of modern minimalism and traditional Japanese elements, created a serene and inviting space. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience justify the cost. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends. Overall, WA SUSHI offers a truly exceptional Japanese dining experience.

27/03/2025: The most amazing beef stew! My husband loved his cottage pie. We also ordered some Yorkshire puddings because he is half Brit and they were so tasty!

26/03/2025: We celebrated our Daughter confirmation in the Galleon and it was amazing. Staff couldn't do enough for us. They were friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything. Food was delicious. They explained clearly what the ingredients in food was because we had dairy intolerance and gluten free. We really enjoyed it and I highly recommend anyone planning an event or a birthday coming up to check the Galleon.

30/11/2024: Relaxed vibes with luxury treatment. The staff are excellent, professional, and attentive. The only down side to the menu is that I am not local so I can’t try it all. Each dish’s flavor profiles were married so exquisitely. Each bite made lasting memories as I savored every last crumb. This restaurant has set a new standard for me.
