Tigín in Galway

We attended the Tigin both days we were in Galway. The staff were friendly, classic pub vibes, so thought we may as well go back again! Saturday night was super busy with the Soccer and the crowd were good fun. We went back the next day for the womens rugby. Great selection on tap.

Based, based, based pub. I thought the food and drinks were incredible. I just had to meet and thank the manager personally. The friendly staff who were excellent gladly introduced me. I thanked him and he said wanna hear something funny? He then told me something hilarious. He said caribou closed which is pretty funny. Then he told me they said they were gonna build a hotel here but then they just built a better pub. WOW, dinner and a show!! Beautiful cocktails, lovely staff, city centre location.

Tigín is a gem of a Galway! It's lovely when you can snag a table, but the inside is a bit small so seats are limited. It's also a lovely spot for live music on weekends and the staff are wonderful!

Loved the bar. Great pints! Very dark, which to me is amazing
