The best restaurants in Galway

31/05/2025: What a jewel in Galways crown. Sea views down by the diving section in Salthill. I asked to be surprised in the food I was to eat and boy it didn't disappoint. It would have been so easy to give the standard steak; but no, that was not the case, and I will remember this meal for a long time. I don't normally take pictures of food, but here's a starter for you all. The staff are 100% I look forward to coming back.

05/01/2025: We went there to the restaurant.And we're seated out by the huge window. The view is absolutely amazing. They are staffed with a good number of very efficient and helpful employees. The appointments for the restaurant are all tasteful and nicely done. This golf club has been around since 1859, so they have had two centuries to get it right. Did I mention the food? I got the salmon and it had a delicate lemon sauce on top of it.Along with carrots, new potatoes, cauliflower and mashed potatoes. Perfectly cooked. My companions had the Irish roast beef in the pan fried chicken. I was able to get a bite before she ate it all. Absolutely delicious. I'm sad to report I did not get any of the chicken. I did not take pictures because it is a private club.

27/05/2025: Pascals was extremely satisfying, the portions were enormous so I recommend getting less than you think you need to avoid food waste, service was very efficient as it was self service, food came extremely quickly so if you need a quick big fix I recommend

06/05/2025: Love the fact that all family can order and me being no dairy or gluten can have chip curry, slaw and salad. Even original burger no cheese (just don't eat bun). Lovely and fresh and big portions for chips

03/05/2025: Fabulous coffee, excellent selection of cakes and pastries. The sandwiches were also superb. Had a couple cups of coffee and pastries and a nice sit at the window looking out.

10/04/2025: We took two takeaway sandwiches with ciabatta bread for €6 each. We consumed them after two or three hours and the bread was still soft, the condiments were also very good and tasty. It was a great surprise 😊

25/05/2025: The food was absolutely one of the nicest meals I've had in a while. Got the slow cooked beef and it was phenomenal. Venue was really nice and the staff were all friendly and attentive Food was a bit slow to come out but we were in a big group so makes sense. Will definitely be back!
