28/06/2025: We took our Dad for dinner on father's day. The staff kindly gave us the window seat where my Dad could watch the swimmers in the evening sun. Excellent atmosphere. The staff and food was lovely and we enjoyed our time there.

28/06/2025: Great evening! The food was amazing, the vibes very cool and you feel like you walk into history. The desert was also very large and tasty. We were able to get a table just booking the day before but make sure you reserve!

05/07/2025: The man who served me, tried to flirt with my friends and I, which we found quite funny but also inappropriate, he was small in stature with glasses. Overall not a well run restaurant. Food was alright but overall wouldn’t eat here again whilst in Galway.

13/06/2025: Very popular corner café with a touch of class in prominent spot on main Salthill thoroughfare. Lovely coffee with some great dedicated, very chatty staff working there. Quiet too with low level 'good taste' background music. More of a take out style café but still a few seats inside where you can enjoy a very nicely served sit-in coffee and treat. I keep going back!

26/05/2025: Great coffee. Not a lot of seating. Selling curated design goods mostly from other places (ie Kinto mugs, Le Bon Shop). Fantastic pastries too and the baristas are lovely (even with toddlers!)

18/05/2025: Went to the skeff yesterday while I. Galway fora. Few drinks with friends bar was busy with the Galway v Dublin match. Staff at the main bar were extremely friendly and helpful drinks cold and nice atmosphere. Ordered a cocktail at the bar and was instructed to go to the cocktail bar, no problem down I headed to the bar to order my cocktail. When I arrived there was a hen party of 7 sitting at the bar no problem. Bar man wasn't present but appeared and continued to walk straight by me to the other end of the bar without acknowledging my presence I waited while he walked the length of the hen party and asked if the needed anything else all the while still no acknowledgement. After about 10 minutes of standing there without a "I'll be with you in a minute" I just walked back and got a beer my partner went down and was there for a good while waiting and in the end had to shout for the bar man which he didn't like having to do. Music and other bars was great atmosphere and service but the cocktail bar would leave a sour taste . A simple acknowledgement of a person standing and waiting would suffice in waiting but to be ignored for 10 minutes when it wasn't busy was a bit rude

06/06/2025: Absolutely impeccable service, beautifully-decorated vintage rooms, delicious breakfast & scones, and perfect location within walking distance to everything. Favorite spot I stayed at in all of Ireland!

23/06/2025: There is nothing special about this place. Hostess didn't welcome, just pointed to a table and didn't even bring over menus. Food was bland; seabass was okay, vegetables were tasteless, beet, pear and goat cheese salad had one sliver of pear. I was disappointed in google putting Galleon as a great restaurant.
