A real authentic local pub that isn’t a chain pub and is still owned by a local family. They are great supporters of the GAA and have local people. A traditional Irish pub that is getting more and more rare the more time goes on.

First time there, looking for a quiet pint. Half full of regulars having great banter among themselves. Suddenly one man broke into song, everyone joined the chorus. Big clap at end. Second guy started "The Dutchman", again joined in the choruses by everyone present. 2 great singers. Not quite a quiet pint but a most excellent pint!!!!

31/03/2024: Best sushi around, a true gem of Galway. I travel to Galway just to go to wa sushi for food. Lovely staff also
28/03/2024: It is a small, cute sushi restaurant that is tastefully decorated. We were immediately greeted very nicely by the waitress. She was attentive and very friendly. We had the nigiri platter and the chicken teriyaki rolls. The sushi was delicious and the salmon was fresh! Unfortunately there was a little wasabi on the nigiri. This wasn't on the map and this could still be improved. It wasn't very much so it was fine. The restaurant and the sanitary facilities were clean.

05/04/2024: Had a lovely family meal here. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive.
02/04/2024: right in the heart of galway, lovely rooms and food at the gastro bar! great service and absolute pleasure to have stayed here! clean rooms, carpark space and location!!!
