Went for a drink and watched footy.

A very cozy pub with a good selection of drinks. Very friendly staff; we received excellent recommendations for various ciders. It's a bit quieter than pubs located closer to the city center, resulting in a relaxed atmosphere.

pretty sure smallish overall..but you can find a seat..looks like a local dive

Popped in for a pint to end a day's exploring Galway, looked very quiet from the outside but busy inside with lots of locals who made my wife & I feel very welcome. A dog friendly pub, we met several who were happy to have a stroke! Good Guinness on tap, quick service, would definitely recommended if you're looking for a comfortable pub with a good atmosphere.
