An Púcán is one of our favourite places in Galway. The atmosphere is always lively, the staff are welcoming, and the service is consistently excellent. We always enjoy our visits and look forward to returning.

This pub was a great find ! We were looking for an authentic Irish Stew and this was really tasty, wholesome and very filling! This is an amazing pub with a traditional pub at the front, nice sports and live band area at the back and one of the best beer gardens we’ve come across, perfectly set up with a canopy over for the Irish weather. Will be the perfect place to watch sport. It’s a must try in Galway.

Food was great, loved the outdoor viewing area, but the men's room smelled like wild animals doing the deed on a dung heap on top of a landfill. I literally had to hold my nose. Seriously, clean the bathroom, and mop the floor of the bar! (We did eat there a 2nd time; food and service still great and men's room was MUCH better. Raised rating to 4 stars).

What a lovely day for a full irish breakfast. I was there by lunchtime and the vibes were already great. The garden is perfect for some daytime pints, with a great soundtrack. The staff is so kind and agile. So cool.

Love this place. Great atmosphere, music and every meal I've had or my husband's has been excellent. Service is very fast. The staff is very nice and accommodating to small changes I make due to my allergies. I can't say enough about how great this place is. We have lots of choices in this city, but I feel comfortable here and know whatever I choose it's going to be great.
