Cellar Bar in Galway

Could be hit and miss depending on the dish you get, but their sunday roast special was amazing.

The food, the music, and the vibe were incredible. Service was average, but not bad.

I can't believe I was served a so called lasagna with five small pieces of some sort of meat in one corner of dish it was disgusting 🤮 differently not a lasagna shame on the chef for senting it out of the kitchen

Quiet but not bad to have a drink and sit for a bit before venturing back out. It took a while for someone to come to my table and I had to go find someone to ask if I needed to seated or could be at the bar. The person at the bar had seen me and didnt say anything to me despite standing there for a few minutes.

The food is good, but the service isn’t. Every time I go there, it takes a long time for me to be served. The waitresses are disorganized and often serve tables that arrived after me first. They also seem moody and unwilling to help.

We enjoyed this place so much that we came here twice during our visit in Galway, and both times were a wonderful experience. We tried the Wok Stir Fry with added Cajun chicken, the Chicken & Broccoli Pasta, and the Vegetable Curry with added Chicken. All of them were very delicious, and came in big portions. The prices were affordable. Lovely friendly staff.

Great spot for some decent breakfast

A fantastic experience overall! From the moment we walked in, the vibe of the place really stood out — stylish, lively, and very welcoming. It’s the kind of atmosphere that immediately puts you in a good mood and makes you want to stay and enjoy the moment. The food was absolutely delicious, with great flavors and beautiful presentation. You can tell there’s real creativity behind the menu and a lot of attention given to both taste and detail. Service was also excellent: friendly, attentive, and always available without being intrusive. Everything was well-paced, making the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. All in all, a great spot that delivers on every level. Definitely worth visiting, and I’d happily come back!

Walked in for lunch and a drink and had a lovely experience. The portion sizes are great and the food is good. Nothing extraordinary, just classic pub food. The service was great.

The upstairs was very quiet, perfect for chatting over a beer. The downstairs (I didn't go) was much livelier.
