Cellar Bar in Galway

The place was nice and the waitresses were very friendly and helpful. I had a fish and chips that was huge, and the fries were good but the fish didn’t taste like much, and the batter wasn’t cooked enough, so it was a bit raw and soggy.

Best choice in area for variety of real food. We had pasta and fish chips and pints of beer

It was really nice. Went for pre dinner drinks well worth a visit. Lovely wine. It was reasonable as well.

AMAZING!!! Had our first Irish breakfast and it was so delish! They were so helpful and accommodating and the food tasted amazing!! Would truly recommend, only 14€ and coffee included 😍

Could be hit and miss depending on the dish you get, but their sunday roast special was amazing.

I can't believe I was served a so called lasagna with five small pieces of some sort of meat in one corner of dish it was disgusting 🤮 differently not a lasagna shame on the chef for senting it out of the kitchen

Quiet but not bad to have a drink and sit for a bit before venturing back out. It took a while for someone to come to my table and I had to go find someone to ask if I needed to seated or could be at the bar. The person at the bar had seen me and didnt say anything to me despite standing there for a few minutes.

The food is good, but the service isn’t. Every time I go there, it takes a long time for me to be served. The waitresses are disorganized and often serve tables that arrived after me first. They also seem moody and unwilling to help.

We enjoyed this place so much that we came here twice during our visit in Galway, and both times were a wonderful experience. We tried the Wok Stir Fry with added Cajun chicken, the Chicken & Broccoli Pasta, and the Vegetable Curry with added Chicken. All of them were very delicious, and came in big portions. The prices were affordable. Lovely friendly staff.
