09/02/2025: The best 2 dinners myself and a best friend ever had in Galway.

05/01/2025: We went there to the restaurant.And we're seated out by the huge window. The view is absolutely amazing. They are staffed with a good number of very efficient and helpful employees. The appointments for the restaurant are all tasteful and nicely done. This golf club has been around since 1859, so they have had two centuries to get it right. Did I mention the food? I got the salmon and it had a delicate lemon sauce on top of it.Along with carrots, new potatoes, cauliflower and mashed potatoes. Perfectly cooked. My companions had the Irish roast beef in the pan fried chicken. I was able to get a bite before she ate it all. Absolutely delicious. I'm sad to report I did not get any of the chicken. I did not take pictures because it is a private club.

11/03/2025: We recently availed of the private event space for my daughter’s christening. We had 40 adults and 15 children. The space was perfect for us. The kids could move about playing without any worries and there was still plenty of room for everyone to sit and chat. Having a private bar was a big plus. We had a buffet meal (kids and vegetarians catered for also) , which was very tasty and plenty of food for everyone. Desserts weren’t an option but there was no issue with a delivery from another local company arriving earlier in the day. Access was also given for a balloon company to decorate before we arrived. Large screen tv and full sound system for music. We had a kids entertainer join and there was plenty of room for her to set up. Staff were friendly and so accommodating. Plenty of parking. Will definitely be back for our next big celebration. Highly recommend.

31/01/2025: Very tasty, atmospheric and pleasant) I liked it) ordered a big burger meal . It was very juicy more than my head 🤣 delicious ! Only in the picture (advertising) it was that there would be potato sauce with this soap, but it wasn't there. The downside was when the boss watched Tik Tok at full volume and from the kitchen a massacre from Tik Tok came straight to the hall, the music shouted the music in the hall from the speakers! But then it was finally over, and I was able to enjoy the silence, peace, light music and food.

20/09/2024: Romantic and endearing family project to which I wish the best possible future, in its current location or in a new one. Fresh, fun idea, with a lot of potential. I hope it continues and goes further. Running a business costs a lot and when you discover life bets like this young Polish restaurant, you can only position yourself in your favor. Powodzenia!

08/03/2025: Quería compartir mi reciente experiencia cenando en "Kumar's Taste of Asia" en Galway. El restaurante estaba bullicioso cuando llegamos alrededor de las 8 : 30 PM. A pesar de la multitud, nos sentamos rápidamente en una mesa de esquina, que era conveniente. Sin embargo, tuvimos que hacer un esfuerzo para llamar la atención del servidor para nuestro pedido. Nuestro servidor, Varsha, era amable y educado en todo momento. El plato de chisporroteo de carne mezclada era agradable, pero los Paneer rolls parecían más rollos de patata que paneer. El curry de coco de cordero de madras era sabroso y delicioso, mientras que el pollo con mantequilla era un poco demasiado dulce para nuestro gusto. Los postres, aunque sabrosos, estaban ligeramente en el lado más dulce. En general, podría considerar volver a "El sabor de Asia de Kumar" en el futuro. Si lo hago, podría solicitar un nivel de especias más alto, dado que es cocina india.

25/02/2025: I feel compelled to share my horrific experience at this restaurant to atleast help fellow Indian nationals avoid spending their money here. Frankly, there were so many issues that it’s difficult to list them all. Behavior and Attitude: 0/5 If I could rate this place a negative score, I would. The staff seems overly focused on accommodating local Irish customers while discounting Indian patrons. When I arrived, the restaurant was nearly full, except for a reserved table for six and a small table for three, which had no reservation notice. However, I was directed to a dungeon like dimly-lit, unheated section at the back of the restaurant. Initially hesitant, I accepted. I soon noticed another Indian couple was ushered in to be seated in the same area. However, shortly after, when another local couple arrived, they were offered the available table outside!! This blatant disparity in treatment was impossible to ignore. As I was leaving, I noticed another local couple was waiting for a table. Although there were available tables inside the “dungeon”, I assumed they were asked to wait to be seated in the main area!!! Food: 1/5 The food was disappointing, to say the least. It was bland and lacked any real flavor. The aloo gobi was poorly prepared, with both the potatoes and cauliflower undercooked. Portions of the tandoori roti were so raw, essentially it was like dough/atta before it’s placed on the tawa!!! I showed the server, asking if he would eat something like this himself—he simply took it away, without an apology or any form of acknowledgment. When the roti was replaced, it was delivered with no explanation or courtesy. No one said anything!! Interior: 1/5 The interior felt like a run-down roadside Indian restaurant, far from the warm and welcoming atmosphere one might expect from a dining establishment. Even small dhabas in India offer a more inviting setting. Ethics: 0/5? The final straw was the bill. When I went to pay, I was handed a handwritten receipt, which is reminiscent of what you’d get at a local market stall in India—not at a proper restaurant in Ireland ! I assume this is a tactic to avoid showing the full revenue, particularly when dealing with Indian customers. If you are smart enough, I hope you know what I am saying. When I asked for a formal receipt, it seemed to be an inconvenience, and after some fumbling with the machine, I was handed a small, unprofessional slip. As a family that runs a fine dining North Indian restaurant in India, I understand that some locals may rate this place highly, simply because they don’t have a true understanding of Indian cuisine. However, I’m baffled by Indian patrons claiming the food was good—because it was far from it. My experience was frustrating, and it ruined my evening. If you care about quality food, respectful service, and ethical business practices, I strongly advise avoiding this restaurant at all costs.

15/02/2025: The last few times I have been in to get coffee, I have found it luke warm and very weak. Even when i asked for the coffee to be strong and extra hot, it’s still lukewarm. I had to pay extra to have strong coffee grrrr Maybe machine Not working. Waste of money. She offered to reheat the coffee by adding extra hot milk. But that would’ve made it weaker and it was already weak So disappointing Coffee from this place used to be great when they opened first

11/03/2025: Very warm welcome and fantastic location, staff are very friendly and helpful, car park unfortunately you have to pay, but you do get a 50% discount on car parking 24h parking with the discount will be 12 euro. This morning at breakfast we got their 50mins before it closed , their wasn't enough food cooked for the capacity of the people staying in the hotel, the food was cold alot of other guests complaint about same issue, we had to wait for food to come out that took some time

30/03/2025: Absolutely brilliant hotel 5 mins from main town.food is gorgeous breakfast was the best I have seen loads to choose from.from the menu there's lots of different food to choose from and very good price wise.rooms the room have air conditioning and are spotless clean and rooms a big also .all staff are brilliant at there jobs from reception full of smiles to bar and waiting staff the hotel has a lovely relaxing atmosphere and all staff really go out of there way to make you feel very welcoming.would I return yesterday I would in fact I don't think you would find a more better hotel in Galway with that kind of staff. Well done to the managers it's that kind of training that makes a big difference.👍👍
