02/11/2024: Staff and food great. Alan in the bar is top marks. The bar manager, Shane is the best I have seen, lovely bloke. Room lovely and breakfast excellent . Can't wait to go back again in December.

03/11/2024: Food was ok, small portions. Very poor service, long time waiting for the food and it seems as if the waiting person does not have any idea what is going on. It seems to be a disconnect with the kitchen. The carpets on the stairs to go to the bathrooms are filthy!!! I would not recommend this restaurant.
31/10/2024: Food was okayish. The problem though is the attitude of owners towards Indians in particular. They made Indians sit in one corner of the restaurant and they were not responding to our requests for a long time. We had to cancel lots of things just because they forgot to bring our food.

26/05/2024: I used to really like this place but unfortunately it has gone dramatically downhill. All free tables were dirty when we came in and It wasn't until we got our order that the table was cleaned off. I watched the cook (owner or owners husband?) come in from outside and start touching the food and making orders without even washing his hands. Just bare, dirty hands digging around in the food. Our food was greasy and a mess to eat, not to mention 15€ for avocado toast is insane. The woman working the till was great, very friendly so I don't fault her as she was doing the best she could. Can't say I will return here after this visit.

06/11/2024: Have gone here since they opened always good food however got a battered sausage and chips never got this before and I'm still hungry , was a child's portion , sausage was very small and chips were not great and small.

21/09/2024: Here for a lunch with friends. Food top class.
Golf competition going on that day.
Having a drink afterwards were moved around, told where not to sit by those in blazers.
Staff very good and friendly and for food alone it's recomended.
However, if going to dine, make sure no golf competition taking place.
Otherwise, the blazers call the shots.
Back here again as last year,
Top class.

10/11/2024: My first experience at Martine's leaves me very disappointed that we only make it to Galway every 2-3 years. It was truly one of the best meals we have ever had! Mauricio made everything to perfection in the kitchen including the most perfectly cooked Sirloin I've had in ages! Damaris is not only one of the most knowledgeable waiters you'll ever encounter, but he is equally entertaining. His recommendations are spot on and he made for the ultimate experience! We can't thank you enough for a wonderful meal and a great memory!

20/10/2024: Nice quiet restaurant. Delicious hot pot! Pity the bbq plate wasn’t working at our table but we should have booked ahead. Friendly staff. Good prices. The entrance could do with a bit of a make over it didn’t look like it was opened from the outside.
