10/08/2025: Tried their new Buffalo Wild Burger at Chilli Shacks in Galway today and wow… it was spot on! Juicy, full of flavour, and the spice was just right . The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Place is really clean too, which I always appreciate. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re in Galway and craving a great burger with your friends .

19/07/2025: Ate here three years ago and was impressed. Not so this time. Prices hiked, and food below par. I’ve eaten Indian food all over Scotland, England, Ireland and India itself. This was the first experience where there were no complimentary poppadoms. Seriously? I had chicken sag, the meat was dried up and tough. Also a first. The naan was flat and not stuffed as promised. More like a large chapati. Two mains and one beer cost the guts of €60. For the same price next door they were offering two starters, two mains, and four beers. This Indian is overpriced and not authentic. They really need to look at their standard of food and pricing. Don’t believe I’ll give it a third visit.

21/06/2025: I can’t say enough good things about The Pasta Factory in Galway. The pasta here is absolutely incredible — hands down the best homemade pasta I’ve ever had. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love and care. The environment is warm, inviting, and full of character, making it a perfect spot whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or enjoying a leisurely dinner. It’s not just a meal — it’s an experience. For the quality of food and the amazing atmosphere, the value is outstanding. If you're in Galway, this is a must-eat place. I highly recommend it to everyone — locals and travelers alike. You won’t regret it!

24/08/2025: A good place to spend a night. The rooms were certainly small for at least 3 people, but it was very clean and the service was very nice. We had a concert in the bar downstairs and once we went to the room we didn't hear the music downstairs. For our part a recommendable place for a short visit to Galway.

27/07/2025: STAY AWAY! I’d rather sleep on a parl bench in the rain. Unless you thrive of paying a lot of money for a poor experience and no sleep. The live music doesn’t stop at 0:00 or 12:30am as advertised, it keeps going til 2am. And if you are not to agitated and can sleep straight away that will give you a shit 6 hours of sleep in cheap beds guaranteed to have praying for a massage when you wake up by the music and slamming of chairs from the morning crew. Think a shower will wake you up? Yeah a shower would, but this? Wow! It’s easier to get you hair wet having someone splash you from the sink. There is absolutely no waterpressure. Only positive about this is the free parking in the back yard, if there is a free spot.

28/08/2025: The staff was lovely and had good recommendations. Me and my boyfriend went there and it was so lovely and filling. Great Nutella and velvet cookies. Would definitely go back again!

20/08/2025: The sandwiches are really nice, I always take the ones with cheeses as I only eat halal meat. I wish they could offer halal chicken that would be amazing!

23/08/2025: Such a lovely local cafe. I’ve been here for smoothie, coffee and homemade treats - and always had a nice experience, both in terms of what I ate or drank and in terms of communication with the staff. I didn’t have my coffee cup with me today, and barista fetched a ceramic mug for me from somewhere - made me really happy (hate those single use cups, sorry!). All the best to this place and people who are contributing daily to the unique atmosphere there, both staff and customers :-)

19/08/2025: A lovely little neighbourhood cafe that we are so lucky to have in Knocknacarra. The coffee is great but it’s the people that make this place so special. They are so friendly and always in a good mood which seems to become contagious! Highly recommend ☺️

22/06/2025: Used to be a proper craft beer bar in recent years, but (as of tonight) only 3 of 16 taps are craft... the rest are the usual macros (Heineken, Smithwicks, Coors etc). Sad, even the owners have a great variety in their own stable (e.g. Foam & Fury) and there are so many other small Irish breweries (Kinnegar, Whiplash, Dot etc etc) that could be supported

10/06/2025: Well, Isma, the beer is perfect. Groups of people enjoyed the space, and the live music was awesome. When you come, have at least one beer there!

05/08/2025: If you don’t like or can’t have spicy food, this is not your restaurant 😅 everything is super spicy there. The restaurant is clean and nice, the quality of food is good, but nowhere on the menu the level of being spicy of each dish is mentioned and even if you ask, they answer not much, while it’s too much🌶️🥵

30/07/2025: Lovely. The duck curry noodle soup really hit the spot. Would add more chilli but that's personal preference. 5/5

30/08/2025: As a publican, I’ve never left a review before but this place needs one. Sat outside for 2 drinks and watch a doorman with an Australian accent be extremely rude to tourists and punters looking for a drink. He was cordial to us but abusive to many others. Maybe he was having a bad day but I’ve never seen a front of house staff member act in such away.

27/07/2025: Huge pub in the city centre with a fantastic house stout made by Galway Hooker brewery. The craft stout is creamier than Guinness.

14/08/2025: We waited in line for 40 minutes just for one coffee. The waitress showed no intention of hurrying to make it. Furthermore, she seemed to expect people to leave the line so she would have less work. Terrible experience — I honestly wonder why I even came here. I do not recommend this place. I am very disappointed 😞☹️

13/08/2025: The pizzas, pasta, and salads were very good. The food arrived in no time. The service was very friendly, and the place is very clean. Thanks for the great food! 😁

10/08/2025: Quiet atmosphere with music so low it felt a bit awkward to talk. Service was friendly but missed small details—like enough cups for three people and no ice in the water jug. Food was great value for the price: pasta had excellent flavour and texture, and pizza was tasty (though could be crisper). Nice touch having hand cream in the bathroom, but there were no signs and the light was off when we went in.

26/07/2025: ¡La peor comida! Primero pidió el Montecristo, que se describió en el menú de la manera clásica: pan tostado Francés con jamón y queso mozzarella. Cuando llegó el pedido, IT trataba de un pan tostado - pan de masa madre lisa (no bañado en huevo como sería una tostada Francesa) con jamón y queso rallados. Los dos pedimos IT, yo envié el mío de vuelta pero mi compañero no quería hacer eso, así que se lo comió de todas formas IT aunque no era bueno. Luego pedí panqueques estilo americano con compota de bayas. Aquí hay una foto de los discos de hockey que tengo. Quemado en el fondo, NO fruta en absoluto. ¡Este lugar apesta!

24/07/2025: I wish I could have these crepes everyday ! Best gluten free crepes in Galway by far. Accompanied by an iced coffee is the perfect brunch. So many options for gluten free and vegetarian, sweet or savoury. Lovely breakfast or lunch options and always bright, clean environment.
