Trattoria Magnetti in Galway

The Caprese Salad and the Pizza Diavola were delicious and more than enough for 2 people. Service was very attentive as well!

Perhaps it was the dish I ordered. The portions are huge. However, I had the privilege to encounter 2 other diners that engaged with me which made the atmosphere more welcoming. The seafood pasta was good but felt the pasta wasnt cooked as thoroughly as it should be. The wines they have, legit as i notoriously buy those same bottles at home

The spinach ravioli was not bad but swimming in oil, and the penne was too "al dente"! I don't mind a little but it felt pretty undercooked. Mediocre experience overall.

Magnetti’s in Galway was a solid stop for our family. We were able to get a seat, eat, and be on our way in less than an hour, which was great. My daughter had the mussels and ate the whole thing. My son had the seafood pasta, my wife had the meat ravioli, and I had the Rigatoni con Agnello e Pepperoni. Everything was really good. The service was good, the food came out without a long wait, and our server, Aris, checked on us a few times without hovering. The environment was nice too—lots of families and couples enjoying their meals, which gave the place a warm and welcoming feel. Good food, good service, and a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out in Galway.

We really liked this lovely Italian restaurant we found while walking down Galway's famous Quay street. We tried the ravioli, bolognese, and seafood pasta. All three dishes were delicious. The chilled white wine and Peroni Italian beer were also excellent. The service was fast. The staff were friendly. The prices are reasonable. I recommend it.

Truly amazing pasta and they make it fresh daily. I had the roasted duck fettuccine and a tiramisu. This place was recommended to me by a lovely Italian man I met while traveling Ireland. The servers were kind and attentive. Wonderful service and food. I recommend making a reservation as they can be quite busy.

I was so sad to see that the menu was changed and my favorite 2 pastas and ravioli are gone, they were the best I've ever tasted. Today I had to change my order for the ducks pasta it wasn't bad but it didn't have the taste of the last times i came. Such a shame and i am really sad this was my favorite restaurant in galway please bring the old menu back!
