Mona Lisa in Galway

The two pasta dishes we ordered, including the ravioli at the bar, were excellent. The waitresses were very kind despite our very poor English. You could tell they genuinely wanted to fully satisfy the customer.

Great food and good service. The carbonara metodo classico tasted amazing! The spaghetti pomodoro was good too. The portion size was good, but the food was so good I wished that I could've had more😄 Beautiful restaurant with a nice vibe to it. The staff was helpful and checked in on us from time to time. The restroom is accessible for any kind of individual which isn't very common. Very cool place!

Food was great. Now in the warm months atmosphere is wonderful to sit outside in the west end.

Local Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was a bit lacking, but the food was good. Small tables. Bread and olives beforehand, not recommended. The olives were soft and not really tasty, and the olive oil was also missing. Main course, seafood ravioli in tomato sauce. The best dish, well prepared and flavorful sauce. Another dish, seafood fregola. This dish just wasn't quite there; more quantity than quality here. 2 glasses of white wine with it, for 65 euros total.

Our host at our west end B&B recommended Mona Lisa for dinner. We made a same day reservation for 8 pm because their first seating was full. We are so glad we did! The restaurant is cozy, food delicious and authentic, and the whole experience made us feel like we were back in Italy! The restaurant is also on a nice street with an up scale bar and a traditional Irish pub, so lots of good options for before and after dinner.

Such friendly staff, allowed us to sit outside with our dog, and thoughtfully brought over some water and even some bread for her :) Squid starter and the Parma ham pizza were both absolutely delish. Sitting outside on the street is great for people watching. Thanks !
