Deelys Cafe in Galway

We were so happy with our breakfast at Deelys yesterday, we came back again today! Don't expect gushing sweetness from this family run business, but you will get fast, efficient service and a smile. And the food was great, my favourite was the porridge with bananas, hazelnuts and honey. And a really good Americano. Honestly couldn't be happier.

Lovely Irish breakfast for a very affordable price, we were so full afterwards, we could barely move. Highly recommend!!

Ate a late breakfast here with my boyfriend. We both ordered scrambled eggs, in the menu, it states the scrambled eggs were served with bacon on the side. Guy taking our order looked like he wanted to be anywhere else in the world but there. Waited well over 35 minutes for the food. And what arrived was…a small plate of scrambled eggs, and two slices of toast. Which was quite disappointing to be honest. When we asked another staff member about the bacon, the guy who took our order could be heard saying something akin to «that’s what they ordered» in a defensive tone. And that was that. This is one of the few times I’ve written a review, and it’s definetly not the worst experience ever or anything like that. But the meal was not enjoyable, the service experience was brought down by the one staff member (the others were lovely), and come on…35-40mins for some scrambled eggs and a couple of pieces of toast? Drinks were fine, except the black coffee.

An absolute gem in the heart of Galway City. This is a piece of heaven. The food is amazing. The omletes are the best for me. You can get everything from an all day breakfast to pancakes and more. Soul food. Great prices and tastes amazing. Customer service great to.

It was the best place for breakfast I’ve had in Galway.

When you walk in, you know that it is built on a strong history of family. The staff are lovely and the cafe is filled with love.

Brownies out of this world loved my cibatta sandwich too

Sat outside listening to the music and had a wonderful bacon, sausage and egg ciabatta. Sublime 😋
