This was a lovely, cute, and felt like family run cafe. Coffee was good - and strong. The toasted sandwich was lovely.

It was a very busy morning but we got our two Irish breakfast. Portion was okay and enough. They charge extra if you need a different milk for the coffee/tea.

The best cafe in Galway. The food is fresh and delicious. Staff is welcoming, friendly and efficient. I can truly recommend it. I came back every single morning. Try the porridge!!

Salthill Hotel

30/05/2026: The hotel is in a great location right on the water! Breakfast is okay, it’s a decent spread but definitely underwhelming compared to other stays in Ireland and id recommend getting there early, it’s night and day compared to coming late when it’s packed and picked at. Also would’ve loved to have scones. Lastly room was great, only thing is it was quite dirty and the shower only had one temperature and that’s extra hot. For the price I paid I’d argue that it was unacceptable to have dirt visible on the couch.
19/05/2026: One of the best hotels Ive been in for a long time. Rhe most friendly staff that looked genuinely happy to be doing their job with genuine friendly. Great atmosphere and location. Brilliant food and swimming facilities for both 8 and 16 year old kids as well as adults. Definitely going back in autumn

Park House

21/05/2026: Hotel is large with multiple restuarants and meeting spaces. Great for tour groups. Great location and nice staff. Decor feels tired and worn. We had a spacious standard room but if felt old.
