17/12/2025: The service is super efficient and the taste is great. The manager has been really friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for delicious burgers.

12/12/2025: Bins were full and no one cleaning the eating area. Food all over floor sticky sauce on seats, seats and tables sticky, Apauling discipline. Food not as good as other BK outlets. Won't be going here again.

28/11/2025: Has obviously changed with new owners but not for the better. Restaurant size is reduced for the inclusion of a bakers shop. Walls are now bare. The menu and choice has somewhat shrunk. Sorry not changed for the better. Left feeling disappointed that the must have breakfast in Donegal town is no more. NOW PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

09/10/2025: Great food and atmosphere at Dock 84! 🍴☕️ We stopped into Dock 84 while in Donegal Town and had a really enjoyable experience. The place has a relaxed, modern vibe with plenty of space to sit back and enjoy a meal. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome right away. 😊 I ordered the grilled chicken burger 🍔🐔 and it was excellent — the chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked, with fresh toppings and a soft bun that held everything together nicely. It was filling without being too heavy, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. My wife went for the waffle with a spread of Nutella 🧇🍫 and it was a real treat. The waffle was light and fluffy with just the right crisp on the outside, and the Nutella made it indulgent without being over the top. A perfect sweet option to balance out my savory choice. The second time we went we had egg shakshuka and Tikka wrap which was good again as usual One of the highlights here is that Dock 84 has its own bakery products 🥐🍞, and they are absolute delights — fresh, tasty, and clearly made with care. It’s a lovely bonus alongside the main menu. Do note that there’s usually a wait time of around 15 minutes ⏳ throughout the day, but honestly, the food and atmosphere make it worth it. For convenience, there’s a car park directly in front of the café 🚗, though it is a paid one 💳, so keep that in mind if you’re driving in. Service was quick once seated, prices were fair 💶, and the location is ideal if you’re exploring Donegal Town 🏞️. Whether you’re after a hearty bite or something sweet, Dock 84 is a spot worth visiting. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town! 🙌

02/12/2025: The absolute best food. I was in Galway for only two nights and I ate here both nights. The service is very good and it’s a quiet, clean nice restaurant.

29/11/2025: We had some of the homemade pulled noodles and the tofu dumplings as the starter. The food was quite tasty in general, lots of veggies in the main and tender beef. The only drawback was that it was not hot, which is quite unusual for Chinese cuisine. The vegetarian dumplings could have more veggies inside as well.

21/01/2026: Food is good but on our last few orders was barely any Cantonese sauce on my duck, so ended up being very dry, bit disappointing. Shouldn't be for that price!

06/12/2025: A combination of Asian best. You can find Thai, Malay, Hong Kong, and pan-asian cuisine in this place! Superb taste! Jalan Jalan brings Galway closer to Southeast Asia than ever! Highly recommended!

02/01/2026: I had a very unpleasant experience in this restaurant. I was down in Galway celebrating my birthday. I went in to this place and because I was on my own, the waitress brought me to table to the back of the restaurant on the right. I was luckily given the menu! I was waiting for over five minutes to get the basics on the table; bread, jug of water... After another five minutes without getting these basics, no service from the waitress at all, I got up from the table and went to her and found her chatting away to another waitress !!!! I said, I'm leaving this place as there is absolutely no service. She just said OK! Absolutely shocking the lack of customer service here ! I took my custom elsewhere and had a fabulous meal in a beautiful place. I will never go into Magnetti's again! Overpriced and no service at all.

01/01/2026: I was so sad to see that the menu was changed and my favorite 2 pastas and ravioli are gone, they were the best I've ever tasted. Today I had to change my order for the ducks pasta it wasn't bad but it didn't have the taste of the last times i came. Such a shame and i am really sad this was my favorite restaurant in galway please bring the old menu back!

02/01/2026: Everything was delicious, the pasta was great, and the risotto was fantastic. We really enjoyed ourselves.

30/12/2025: Small portions of over priced very average food (lasagna was especially poor), food arrived at different times and service as if we were an inconvenience. Similar experience last September. Won't be back

20/09/2025: There's a fish store nearby that also makes seafood sushi. The store has a great selection and reasonable prices. I'm not sure about the Ukrainian sushi restaurant, but it's highly likely they'll be fully booked. It's a popular place. The sushi is inexpensive, but generously sized and very tasty.

27/08/2025: A great breakfast! I had the Big Breakfast, all wrapped up in a crepe, really filling and delicious! We went back twice! A real treat!

27/12/2025: The place was quite nice and the food was quite good, but unfortunately the quality of the food was mediocre. The maki was a no-go. The salmon was okay, but for the price you pay and for what you get, I wouldn't recommend it. The service was good, I must say (there were few people there today).

20/12/2025: Overall, it's not bad. The sushi fell apart a bit, they didn't cook it right. It was delicious. I couldn't understand everything on the menu. I would have liked to see more pictures. Otherwise, it's a very quiet place to hang out, with a pleasant atmosphere and fresh, quiet music. It's perfect for people who don't like crowds in a small place.

16/12/2025: . Kitchen unorganised. Waited too long for food (35mins). Burgers are on the menu that they don’t have. Was given house chips instead. Only 2 slices pepperoni, a few hidden pieces of bacon with a nice sauce and basic chips.

20/11/2025: Food was ok. Service was very slow. 2.5 hours for 3 course dinner and half an hour was waiting for the bill. Music was too loud in the restaurant and noise levels from nearby tables makes it difficult to hear your table companions further away.
