The best restaurants in Galway

06/10/2025: Disappointed with the order, missing ingredients as per order/ menu, extreme waiting time, noted, other customers were served before us after our arrival time, having a service user with extreme tolerance of patience it was not fair, no apologies for missing order was conducted properly.

29/08/2025: Excellent food, really friendly service, very accommodating with two small toddlers. Will definitely visit again.

05/09/2025: Absolutely fantastic stay at Feeney's. The woman who greeted us was so kind. The room was IMPECCABLE: Clean, quiet and very spacious. 20min walk from the center with lovely views of the ocean. 10/10 Thank you for such a lovely stay.

08/08/2025: Oh my, we loved our stay here. The man who greeted us (I think I remember his name, but I don’t want to completely mess it up!) was beyond friendly. He had a warm and welcoming smile. He showed us to our room quickly and got us settled in. Our room was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed the espresso coffee maker in the room and made use of it each morning. The housekeeper (such a sweet woman) cleaned the room each day which was such a nice touch — coming home to a clean room after exploring the city center. All I can say is that this was everything my boyfriend and I could want and more! We both agreed we’ll stay here every time we come to Galway. Thank you so much, Feeney’s Audubon Lodge, for providing such an excellent stay during our Galway adventures. We will most certainly be back!

22/10/2025: We arrived on bikes for one night. Enjoyable check in and good chat with Reception team. Walking distance to the pubs and club. Used the Leisure Centre for the recovery next AM. Breakfast was great. Will definitely go back.

21/10/2025: Hotel bar, Coopers, isn’t great. Friendly enough but No Galway beer on tap. When I asked, the bartender had to check the taps to see!!?? Obviously not experienced staff. Hotel also pretty run down, but safe and clean. Staff good

30/11/2024: Relaxed vibes with luxury treatment. The staff are excellent, professional, and attentive. The only down side to the menu is that I am not local so I can’t try it all. Each dish’s flavor profiles were married so exquisitely. Each bite made lasting memories as I savored every last crumb. This restaurant has set a new standard for me.

13/08/2025: Superb!! Gorgeous bar. A bar with a bit of history, not some modern pop up. Beautiful architecture and service!! Highly recommend. We had a 50th birthday party here a few years back and it was excellent and have been coming ever since.

17/07/2025: Franchement , ambiance sympa , personnel sympathique … on a super bien mangé … on recommande pleinement… bien placé en ville … la musique pas trop forte ce qui rend ce moment très agréable et tout ça avec le sourire des serveurs

29/06/2025: No reservation. Welcomed and seated immediately. My husband had the burger and I had the beef and Guinness stew. Both were delicious as was the apple pie dessert that followed. Friendly staff. I would recommend and return!

20/10/2025: Ordered coffee, flat white and scone, given the scone and flat white and told coffee would be ready shortly, had to go back and ask for the coffee, not busy at the time, no apology, disappointed

30/09/2025: Just had soup and bread for lunch there and really enjoyed it. The food was good and I would have given 6 stars for the service if I could. I'm have some balance and hearing issues but the lady on the till carried my tray upstairs where it was quieter, without fuss - I didn't even have to ask. Without question, I'll visit again.

23/08/2025: I was visiting Galway for few days i have orders consecutively 2 days food from their they have best kebab and pizza I have been so many places it’s very delicious fresh and economical prices

31/05/2025: Excellent seasoning, I like it! Good service, good coffee. They have cards, every tenth coffee can be installed. Syrup to choose from. Park in the parking lot in the shopping center or in the parking lot. There is a table next to the coffee shop, it is good to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee.

20/05/2025: This may surprise some but this is the best Coffee in Galway - very surprised to see Geometry Coffee being served by Bosco and his team - go visit before the Q gets too big!

22/05/2025: A very disappointing lunch. We ordered two focaccia sandwiches and waited an hour for the food to arrive- when we ordered there was no indication it would take this long. We asked twice within the hour if our food was on its way and they just said it would be soon. When the food finally did arrive they were both ciabattas which were hard and dry. When we pointed out that this was not what we ordered the staff stated simply it was ciabattas despite the menu saying focaccia. It was clear the food was coming from a kitchen further down the road not sure if this is usual for them but either way we were left not satisfied.

29/08/2025: Delicious sushi. Top-notch service, and the lovely girls who served us deserve praise. Extremely professional, smiling, and helpful. Highly recommended. The sushi disappeared so quickly I didn't have time to take a picture.

25/09/2025: I had the seafood trio which included sea bass, salmon, and tiger prawns. The portion of the sea bass and salmon was good but the tiger prawns just seemed like they were frozen shrimp. Service was incredibly slow and the server didn't put in one of our entree orders. Overall, I thought the meal was just ok.
