21/08/2025: The'Ol 55 is a real locals pub, no fancy decor or fake Irishness, with a lot of up and coming musicians playing regularly. Some really talented people at the beginning of what may be a very bright career. And to top it off, very friendly bar staff.

01/09/2025: The food was pretty good. Too much sauce on the sub made it messy. Young lady who made it was expressionless and looked as if she didn't want to be there. I thanked her with no acknowledgement.

30/11/2024: Relaxed vibes with luxury treatment. The staff are excellent, professional, and attentive. The only down side to the menu is that I am not local so I can’t try it all. Each dish’s flavor profiles were married so exquisitely. Each bite made lasting memories as I savored every last crumb. This restaurant has set a new standard for me.

07/08/2025: We were really craving an Irish breakfast and we were not disappointed. Our plates were very generous, so much so that we had trouble finishing what is rare in our country. Black pudding, white pudding, sausages, bacon, eggs (you can choose the cooking method), potatoes and soda bread. We were expecting beans and mushrooms but frankly we didn't miss them as the plate was varied and tasty. We were welcomed and served very quickly and the staff is very friendly. A large parking lot is available to customers as well as boxes for storing bicycles.
03/08/2025: Fabulous place for breakfast. Very delicious and varied breakfast. Ordered the full fry and the amount of food on the plate was impressive. Staff are exceptionally kind and friendly they are a credit to the place!! Would highly recommend 👌

05/08/2025: Rocked down here this morning at 6.57am . Walked into the place and was told they're not open for another 5mins. Asked could I even just sit inside as it was raining for the 3 mins . Was told I couldn't. I've been a regular here for years and I've been inside on numerous occasions 5 or 10 mins with other locals earlier. . . Forget about the not serving me for the 3 mins but to be told to stand out in the rain was terrible. .Plenty of other cafés in town that will appreciate the business. I'll not return

Always sorts you out on whatever notion strikes your fancy. Delectable garlic base pizza. I'm a fan of the milkshakes as well. Worth a gander anyway 5/5 pretty good hai

22/05/2025: A very disappointing lunch. We ordered two focaccia sandwiches and waited an hour for the food to arrive- when we ordered there was no indication it would take this long. We asked twice within the hour if our food was on its way and they just said it would be soon. When the food finally did arrive they were both ciabattas which were hard and dry. When we pointed out that this was not what we ordered the staff stated simply it was ciabattas despite the menu saying focaccia. It was clear the food was coming from a kitchen further down the road not sure if this is usual for them but either way we were left not satisfied.
