The best restaurants in Galway

10/11/2024: Excellent meal. Top class. Group of 7 friends visited last Friday evening and each and every one of us had a great meal. Flavour was excellent. Service top class. Including 3 or 4 beers each some coffees and a desert the bill including tip came to under 400 which was impressive given the quality of the food. Highly recommend it

15/10/2024: An absolute dissapointet. I'm in disbelief. I ordered black bean sos beef with fried egg rice but was gives an "soup", literally the sos was just an soy sauce I thought that I'm imagining but I asked my friends and they confirmed it's way too salty to be black bean I didn't want to cause a scene to the waiters because I was with friends and I am a shy person so I just ate it After consuming it my tongue was in pain for 5 hours, my stomach still feels irritated and I feel need to drink like I never seen water before, feeling of burning throat is not going away soon too I'm afraid I was visiting there about two times before, a 17 months ago and 10 months ago Let's just say that only the first one was an plesant experience, my food was okay but since that 17 months ago it seems that the quality of food is decreasing dramatically This time yesterday, in total I paid 17,50€ for an absolute dissapointenr and irritated stomach. I'm pretty sure I could spend my money elsewhere and truly enjoy my evening with friends. I'm truly dissapointet in this place

29/10/2024: I got severe food poisoning after eating here, with hours of nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. This was an awful experience, and I hope they improve their food safety to prevent this for future customers.

28/10/2024: Best pancakes in town! I discovered this place recently and I must say it’s my favorite place for lunch now. Good coffee and very friendly staff! Highly recommended.

26/10/2024: Great food, good environment, okay coffee, meh service. But the food is definitely good enough for it to be worth it. If you’re on this side of town and don’t want to go in the city, it’s probably the best breakfast/lunch that you’ll get. Bonus points if you like some spice!

14/11/2024: Very busy wee spot. Most of the staff seem to be "in training " . Service is good and quick. Waffles are not made fresh. Portion sizes of toppings vary depending on what day you're there.

29/10/2024: Vert disappointing, had scrambled eggs which were from microwave and tasted like nothing. Omellete was only one nice item. Oreo waffle was the biggest let down. Since is the place named Mr. Waffle i would expect fresh waffle not pre packed with little crushed oreos over it. Waiting staff didnt care, not even asked if it was alright, when collecting half full plates. I will choose different place next time to spend €40 for breakfast.

22/10/2024: TheThe owner says that covid certs are a small price to pay for his business to remain open. Well given that you discriminate against unvaccinated people, I certainly won't be paying any price to keep you going. I'll be advising anyone I know not to ever eat here. Shame to give a bad review to a small business I've never actually eaten in that have gone through tough times but then it's a shame that restaurants like these will discriminate against the unvaccinated people like me who in reality pose as much risk to them as a fully vaccinated person, probably much less but time will guide us with that. History will judge you very badly, but I pray for you because you do not know what you are doing. Can't see any further than the nose on your face. But we will remember your stance when the truth comes to light. 15/10/2024: Cozy unique ancient space. Wonderfull seafood karen had the fried cod and I had grilles sea bass and we were amazed.

27/10/2024: Location outside was good. The room was also good. The breakfast was really unique. Huge selection and great quality! We wanted to order the desserts and cocktails that were offered in the elevator in the evening (Tuesday). Unfortunately, the desserts we were really looking forward to were no longer available and the cocktail was also more expensive than advertised. The reason given was that it was the previous week's card, but there was no date on it. On Wednesday morning the old map was still hanging in the elevator. When we wanted to order drinks again in the evening, no one came to take our order for almost an hour. We then asked for the bill, which was handed to us without comment. Unfortunately very unprofessional.

05/10/2024: Excellent hotel, excellent service, excellent location

01/11/2024: So nice i went in the evening and the atmosphere was so calm. The food was delicious and i can't wait to come back at try more options. The staff were super kind and after giving the food they left you alone. All round it's a lovely place that looks stunning. I do think there are other sushi restaurants that are better, however you won't be disappointed.

30/10/2024: After visiting this establishment we felt unwell and we got food poisoning. The food in this establishment was normal but I would not advise you to order sashimi in this establishment because we ordered oysters we got worms and when we tried to take a photo of them they took away our plate and offered us another portion instead, to which I asked if this portion would be free, to which we were told that yes, this portion had a worm and the new one would be free, they brought a portion of new oysters which we refused for obvious reasons and when they transferred the check to us and we saw oysters in them, to which we politely approached and said that we would not pay for them, since we did not touch them and we were not pleased to eat them because of the worm, to which we were told that I had to pay for the bottom because the chef opened them and when explaining the situation the waiters stood and laughed. If you want to spoil your mood after a walk along the Galway, you can safely come to this eatery

20/10/2024: Shane and the lads are very friendly and give a top class service and a perfect pint always.

18/10/2024: Great local pub. Good for gaa and rugby. Very good barman.

26/10/2024: Came two days in a row when visiting Galway! The food is exceptional! Very flavourful and delicious! I highly recommend the tofu dumplings on vegan menu and gungun noodles with dandan sauce with seitan on vegan menu!!!!

21/10/2024: Delicious Black Bean tofu and Gongbao chicken. Came at midafternoon and practically had the place to ourselves. Would definitely go again.

05/11/2024: Had a massaman curry which was very good and a nice size portion. Price was ok on this item but menu was expensive

02/11/2024: Massaman curry is the way to go but there have been a few misses so can't totally say you won't get trust issues.

09/10/2024: Wings, Sheppards pie, and steak sandwich were great but the Irish coffee really hit the spot. My fam loved it as it had great atmosphere.

19/11/2024: In a great location for what we needed. Room was excessively hot. Had asked when heat would be off (8pm) & was told it would be off soon, but it didn't go off until 11pm. Had window open all night & radiator off.
