We got masala chai for catering recently for an office event and the food was amazing! Everyone was extremely impressed, especially with the Samosa Chaat and chai. Staff were very helpful to deal with too and kindly delivered the food even though they don't usually offer this. Will definitely be ordering for future catering!
Customer service top notch.
Pricing : bit expensive

Loved my visit to Masala Chai Café in Galway today. Their Masala Dosa was incredible — easily the best South Indian dish I’ve had in Galway. Warm, friendly service too, especially from Olivia, who made the experience even better. Highly recommended for authentic Indian food.

Loved our visit! We had the Masala Chai, Mysore Masala Dosa, Masala Dosa, Medu Vada, Mango Lassi, and everything was awesome. The dosa and vada were perfectly crispy, and the masala filling was super flavorful. The food felt authentic and reminded me of being in India.
A special shout out to Megan, who was so warm, friendly, and welcoming. She made us feel comfortable from the moment we got there.
We were so busy enjoying the food that we totally forgot to take pics.
Will definitely be back❤️

Yummy food, friendly staff, comfortable seating (chairs, stools, benches). However, they have single toilet bathrooms (one for men and one for women) and the toilet tank takes almost 5 minutes to refill, which means a minimum of 5 minutes between flushes. Which could be a real unpleasant issue for some people.
Masala Chai Cafe is a brilliant concept that beautifully bridges two culinary worlds. They serve comforting Irish breakfast staples alongside bold, traditional Indian street food.
The Signature Masala Chai is outstanding—served hot, freshly brewed, and perfectly balanced with cardamom, cinnamon, and ginger. It easily outshines standard café chai lattes.
For this visit, I got a ordered in Dahi Puri, Samosa Chaat, and Pav Bhaji as takeaway. All of them were absolutely good, fresh, and delivered an incredible explosion of authentic flavors and textures.
The café itself is bright, modern, and exceptionally welcoming, making it ideal for a relaxed weekend brunch.
It can get busy on Saturday mornings and afternoons, but the high-quality food and pocket-friendly prices make it completely worth it.
Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options (upon request), parking might be a hassle as limited spots are available outside.
