The best restaurants in Galway

12/01/2026: Very tasty food and all my Working colleagues loved it. Portion size is quite big for one person and it was for every dish we ordered

30/12/2025: This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. From start to finish, everything was a mess. The service was painfully slow, and the staff clearly didn’t care — no urgency, no professionalism, no basic courtesy. The food was terrible. Bland, poorly cooked, and served cold after an unreasonable wait. Portions were small, presentation was sloppy, and the prices were completely unjustified. Paying this much for food of such low quality feels like a rip-off. Hygiene was also questionable, which is unacceptable for any restaurant. When we raised concerns, they were brushed off instead of being addressed. Save your money and your time. There are far better places around. I will definitely not be coming back.

11/12/2025: Excellent hotel, lovely staff, comfy rooms and great food

10/12/2025: Rooms very clean hood size. Rooms very cold and for older people the shower is over bath so hard to get out and in overall very nice.

31/10/2025: Excellent croissants. A quick but delicious breakfast.

17/10/2025: There is such an amazing selection of pastries and treats! The prices are so affordable. The staff were really nice and friendly. The perfect place to stop for a perfect quick breakfast.

05/11/2025: The cafe was closed due to covid-19, so that was a bummer, but understandable. What I don’t understand is why such a small tv. The real bad thing is - the WiFi was down for 30 minutes!

02/11/2025: Galway is fantastic, and Salthill is even more beautiful. The accommodation is highly recommended. The location in Salthill is fantastic, only 300 metres from the Atlantic Ocean. Very cosy, large room, great room service and super friendly host. Galway is only 10 minutes away by bus. Greetings from Germany
