05/03/2025: This place is filthy, dirty and the people working there stinks.. how can this failed “hotel” charge me the full price despite me not even using the room because of their lack of hygiene??
I saw this filth and I decided that I didn’t want to stay there, they claimed they couldn’t process the refund as they were “just a receptionist” only for me to find out several weeks later that I was charged.. I will definitely take you to court
02/03/2025: I had the absolute pleasure of staying here this weekend with my daughter and stepsister.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome and taken care of. The service has been outstanding. All the team were wonderful.
A special mention to Garry, one of the manager's. His attention to detail and professionalism was just outstanding. He was an absolute gem and made our stay so special.
Lorcan was also just fantastic and great at his job. He has great energy and is a real asset to the hotel.
My stepsister has been staying at the hotel for a number of weeks, as a family member is very ill. The team at the hotel have really helped make her stay easier and taken care of her, above and beyond what you would expect.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Galway. This hotel is super affordable and so close to the city. Thanks so much for a very memorable stay. We will most definitely be back again very soon.

18/03/2025: We have been to this restaurant on a few occasions last year because their food was amazing, unfortunately on Sunday last 16th March we chose it again and although the service was really good, food was disgusting, the only thing was nice was the baby bowl we got for my granddaughter, maybe we all should have got that, sadly one of our favourite eaterys will be off our list we were very very disappointed and will never be back

10/03/2025: Great atmosphere, went there after the Ireland v France game😥to cheer up and had a great time, have two areas for live music and they were both great, plus the beer garden out the back is brilliant, had outdoor seating with heaters. Would definitely recommend.
07/02/2025: My dad john ward was a well respected man and a regular in Carrolls bar yesterday was his funeral god rest him we contacted Carrolls and asked them could we have one pint each for his family as that was his wishes while the hearse was outside they said yes come and we will have them ready when we came to carrolls they had the doors locked this was bad respect in my opinion my dad use to do santa every Christmas in carrolls for galway hospice for charity my dad was a family man and well respected among the settle community at this day in age the way we get treated is ridiculous theres good and bad in every community but I have to say my father was never in trouble in his life nor his family this all I have to say ye showed bad respect for a man that came to your bar for years ill never come again any way 😡😡😡😡

19/01/2025: Pude ver que todo había sido emplatado el día anterior y recalentado se cargaron papas fritas tocino y queso salieron después de 2 minutos fueron impactantes decir que lo menos queso era duro y tocino ni siquiera frito no volvería a ir o recomendaría
20/12/2024: Tuvimos nuestra noche de Navidad en Galway y cenamos aquí fue delicioso 😋 tuvimos nachos y alitas de pollo para empezar y luego para la cena todos tuvimos diferentes principales todos estaban muy contentos. El personal era muy eficiente y amable. Servicio muy rápido.
Sin duda volveremos.

Hacen pequeñas quiches maravillosas y un montón de pasteles y postres. También hay una gran selección de comidas para llevar. Todo tiene un precio muy razonable y el personal es maravilloso.
16/01/2025: Went in here last week to get a coffee and a sandwich, the atmosphere was pleasant. It was very affordable. The sandwich tasted better as its homemade compared to big retail chains. Well done to the people in gourmet who make these amazing sandwiches.

22/02/2025: Gorgeous independent cafe with upcycled outdoor furniture and chilled latino music on sunny days. Sometimes buskers play music nearby. Coffee is great, staff are lovely. Brings me back to Ipanema beach except a bit (a lot) chillier! 😄❤️
02/02/2025: Small cafe next to the Salthill promenade, ideal to stop for a while, recharge your batteries and continue with a good walk. They have some benches and an umbrella, in case you want to enjoy your drink there, but they prepare everything to take away.
The coffee is delicious and the location is fantastic, a short break is really enjoyable here.
The prices hardly differ from other places in the city.
Totally recommended!
