Really loved the location of this hotel. The staff were very friendly and polite although they made me pay again when I had already paid during booking. I didn’t notice right away since I was on a long trip with many different hotels. If I hadn’t noticed and went back down to the lobby I would have been out 150 pounds. Luckily after I sent them the booking confirmation email with receipt they refunded my card quickly. The room was nice, but one of the water bottles was already half drank so made me wonder how clean it actually is….

I could not fault the staff in this hotel at all. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were very pleasant and friendly. It was very disappointing that food was only available at breakfast and nothing else available. The bar, too, was very limited, and with nothing available on draft, the male guests in our group were pretty disappointed. I don't think I'd rush back until the food and bar were at full capacity.

Great location right smack in the center of Galway. Rooms are lovely and spacious. Only complaint is that decor is a bit jarring. Breakfast in hotel is really good as well. Especially sausages and cereal.

Lovely place! The rooms are small and cosy but the aesthetic is a bit strange. We loved the location, as everything is 2 minutes away. The breakfast was amazing. The only issue we faced was parking as you have to pay for it yourself at the nearest lot which costed us €10 per day. We didn’t know about this, as it was mentioned that free parking was available on booking.com. But besides that, everything else was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Good hotel in the best part of town. Rooms and service have backslid a little since revamp, but still okay. Watch what you get charged for at checkout though......

Kashmir

02/04/2024: I ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan. The food was delicious. The best Indian food I’ve ever had. All main courses are gluten free as well! It did take a while for it to come out but I assume it was due to the fact it was being made fresh. The naan was out of this world, crispy, garlicky and flavoursome. Staff were friendly. Will definitely be returning and will recommend to friends.
29/03/2024: Great food, huge portions. The staff was very nice, and the price is fine for the amount of food you get.

Sophie's Rooftop Galway

15/03/2024: Beautiful restaurant with lovely views and friendly staff. The pizzas are great. It would just be nice if there were some more vegetarian options, especially at breakfast for hotel guests.
25/01/2024: Slightly disappointed ☹️. First of all, hands down to the interior decor, including the toilets. It's the best I've seen around Galway, so far. Regarding service, I feel it is not there yet. The waitresses are friendly but lack food know-how. The starters were tasty, especially the sweet potato soup. My wife enjoyed her chicken, despite being a little dry. On the other hand, I DID NOT enjoy my "supposed-to-be" burrata pizza. The pizza was missing the burrata cheese and the tomato sauce was extremely acidic, taking away all the enjoyment and pleasure of enjoying a good pizza. Another thing, I asked for some olives to nibble before dinner, I was met with a sarcastic "we're not a Mediterranean restaurant" answer. What's that supposed to mean? Also, I asked for chilli flakes and they didn't have it. Seriously? Am I the only customer that likes chillies? Why on earth are you in business if not prepared for small things like this? Price would be in line to a middle/high-end restaurant if service and food were to the right standards. At the moment, I'd say there is some work to be done. Another tip, never let a customer leave your restaurant without a thank you or farewell. It's just rude and shows a lack of respect towards them!
