Sonny Molloy's is a historic, award-winning Irish whiskey bar located in Galway, Ireland, in the vibrant Latin Quarter. The venue is housed in a medieval building dating back to the 1600s that once housed the draper's shop run by the legendary local figure from whom the pub takes its name. Today, it is part of the larger entertainment complex connected to The Front Door Pub. It is internationally renowned for its incredible selection of spirits. It is one of the very few venues in the world to display the entire Midleton Very Rare collection and houses extremely rare chapters of the Silent Distillery Collection. Atmosphere: The bar is the exact same one used by Sonny Molloy in the past, and the building retains parts of Galway's old city walls. In addition to its Whiskey Platters, it is famous for its excellent pints of Guinness and traditional dishes such as the "roast of the day."

Great atmosphere, good food, and good beer in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Reasonable prices. If you know you're going for lunch or dinner, you should make a reservation.

Excellent value for money, generous portions, and more than reasonable food quality. However, soft drinks are served directly in glasses, so there isn't much to drink.
