06/10/2025: A very fine Italian restaurant with Italian flair. The service was top-notch. Very attentive and polite. The pizza and risotto were delicious. The size of the dishes is just like in Italy. After eating a starter, main course, and dessert, you'll be completely full. The wine was also fantastic.

25/09/2025: I just wanted to let you know what an amazing dinner we had at Magnetti's last week. We were supposed to dine at another restaurant but due to a family member being in a wheelchair they were unable to accommodate us. They called Magnetti's and asked if they could accommodate a wheelchair. Magnetti's took us immediately. The food, the service and the staff were amazing. I just wanted to say THANK YOU and I will recommend your restaurant to anyone in Galway or visiting Galway. My dad said this was the best meal he had in Ireland! : )

03/09/2025: Perfect spot to avoid the tourist traps and get a truly decent cup of coffee, decent breakfast food and delicious pastry. Warm and welcoming service - thoroughly recommend this little retreat of a cafe!

19/08/2025: I happened across this café on a hungry morning exiting the shopping mall. The tables outside were full, so I sat indoors. Food was DE LISH OUS. I had a warm cajun chicken wrap with side salad, a custard tart, a coffee, and a glass of water. Total cost €13.70. Staff were busy but very helpful and attentive. There was a nice buzz and mainly older, local clientèle. The walls were decorated with an interesting assortment of paintings by presumably local artists. Highly recommend, would visit again.

04/10/2025: Canadian here. Canada invented the Hawaiian pizza. This is a BBQ chicken and a Hawaiian pizza combined into an unpleasant combo.

06/10/2025: Absolutely amazing food and lovely staff! The starter, chips, pasta, and lasagna were all incredibly delicious — everything tasted fresh and full of flavour. I loved this place and truly appreciated the warm service and hospitality.

22/07/2025: Staff is great and very helpful but Menu is confusing, I ordered a chilli cheese fries which came with jalapeño and it was sour, while ordering from the screen the picture shows fresh green chilli which I was expecting, it’s a difference between chilli and jalapeño. They change it with only cheese and the staff doesn’t know difference between jalapenos and chilly, again staff was nice and polite.

15/07/2025: Always a good place to stop with burger king and the other one and now they have M&S food bits

15/10/2025: Was highly disappointed with the Breakfast and was early when I was there. Staff looked like they didn't want be there. Place was very quiet not much to do. Breakfast food item were shocking, egg was hard, Rasher was as crisp not even the knife went through it, pudding didn't look great overdone,Beans could count what on plate only decent pieces left were hash brown sausages and toast. Had send all back chef wasn't to pleased but I was paying for it. I got fresh and edible breakfast to standard should have been. Got handed a cup for the tea handle ready come off had get that replaced. Clearly wasn't day eat in there.

25/08/2025: On our last night in Galway, we stopped by O’Reilly’s for a quick bite, and it was the perfect choice. I had the seafood chowder and goat cheese salad — both were delicious and made with some of the freshest seafood you can find in Ireland. The portions were just right, and the flavors were spot on. My nephew had the Blackrock burger, which he devoured in no time. The ingredients were fresh and top quality. To top it all off, the waitstaff was wonderful, making our experience even more enjoyable. A great way to say goodbye to Galway, and we’ll definitely be back!.

13/07/2025: Lovely little establishment. However not sure about health and safety measures. Many a time I've looked in the corner and seen 🥧🗝️ m8ing. Not sure what that's about but they say it's culture boss so I best not judge

17/08/2025: AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT – VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE A bad experience for a French group of 40 people whose menu was chosen in advance when booking. Before the meal, one of the group fell down the stairs (poorly maintained and slippery) and fractured their tibia. At no time did the staff show any concern. Insurance and emergency services had to be called for hospitalization in Galway. The manager's welcome and attitude were appalling. Several people ordered drinks, and the manager refused to allow each person to pay for their drinks individually, charging a total 10% surcharge for all menus and drinks. The information regarding this 10% surcharge was only communicated a few days beforehand, and only for the menus. The manager refused to compromise, even threatening to call the police while shouting. The bill contained several errors, which she corrected without even apologizing. Apparently, in a response to another comment, you stated that you are known for your outgoing personality and friendly nature, and that you are never hostile to customers. This does not reflect what happened at the dinner on August 12, 2025, and I confirm that your establishment is a TOURIST TRAP. The worst restaurant experience in Ireland. Please avoid any reservations at GEMELLES.
