06/04/2025: Went for a curry on my son’s birthday on a Saturday evening. The service was so fast, barely had touched my Cobra. And as usual the food was gorgeous. One of the best curry houses in Ireland!

14/04/2025: Pleasant atmosphere, no service so you get your drinks inside. It was cold but they had a heating that had to be turned on by customers every 10 minutes maybe. Overall, good place to have a drink and chat with friends.

08/04/2025: I've never been to an establisment where the staff are so arrogant. On two separate occasions, two different staff were rude and borderline obnoxious. Will never go again and advise anyone else against going too.

23/02/2025: Stopped off en route to Connemara from Wicklow. Staff were incredible: we were sat in a comfy area with our baby. There was a small mix up with our order and to accommodate they gave us a complementary coffee/croissant and put a rush on our baby’s food. The food when it did arrive was so fresh and full of flavour. 10/10 customer service and food. Honestly rare to find this service these days.

26/03/2025: Absolutely disgraceful experience at Boojum Galway. Portions are laughably small—like, do you think I’m here for a snack? When I asked for more meat, the girl at the counter threw her eyes up to heaven like I’d personally ruined her day. Do me a favour, mate, I’m here cause I’m starving, not so I can come back in and order another and have to look at you again. Misery. On top of that, the place was filthy. Mess everywhere, staff clearly not bothered. Boojum used to be the go-to spot, but this location is a disgrace. The young staff here are the rudest I’ve ever encountered at any Boojum, and I’ve been to plenty. Only reason I still bother is nostalgia, but even that’s wearing thin. Sort it out.

13/03/2025: I was standing in line waiting to order a burrito, but after observing the staff for a few minutes, I was completely disgusted and decided to leave. The sheer carelessness of the employees was abominable. Every gesture and action by them displayed obvious resentment and rudeness toward their job and customers standing right in front of them. They kept tossing everything around, chucking ladles with enough force to send ingredients flying. The workstation was a complete mess — I witnessed several contaminations, an employee smearing sauce on his female colleague before using the same gloves to make a burrito, followed by one guy rubbing his beard dandruff all over the ingredients like grated parmesan. There are far better options in Galway for burritos; Boojum is frankly a disgrace.

01/04/2025: Dirty, poor service, food good. Booked for my husband's birthday. When we got there it turned out one of the waiters had accidentally given our table to someone else without a booking. It got sorted (via arguement between staff in front of us) but we ended up with the last available table right by the kitchen as the place was full. The entrance & stairwell are very tired and could do with a good clean. The waiting area before being seated looked the same. The toilets & corridor to toilets also in need of attention, vacuuming, cleaning. Service was mediocre. The food was good but the atmosphere between the kitchen, take-away prep area & door to toilets was zero. Wouldn't be in a hurry back despite the food being good.

28/03/2025: Very poor experience. Absolutely freezing cold on a Friday night, had to wear my coat through eating. Poor service with indifferent staff. The floor was disgustingly dirty with my shoes sticking to it. It's been a few years since I last ate in papa rich albeit a different location but I won't be returning

05/04/2025: Trash. They missed my order and then said I ordered it an hour ago even though I had just ordered that and been waiting for a while. Just a bunch of idiots they don't even try. After I finally got my order my burger was all over the place. Made me lose appetite and the mood to even eat. It looked horrible I couldn't even eat it properly it just kept on falling apart. This is absolutely bullshit. Smells terrible too. I hope they fix this but if u want to go to McDonald's go somewhere else don't waste ur time and money here

07/12/2024: We ordered 2 drinks at the bar, a female worker came and said one customer didn’t pick up their drink and asked if we would like it. We paid and left the bar then was chased down the street by a male worker told that we left without paying our tab, and our bill was $35. She lied that she didn’t give a free drink and tried to cover for herself, making us look like we walked out without paying for our tab. Would not recommend, especially for tourists, they will take advantage.

01/12/2024: We had a pleasant brunch here. The food was great and the service was fast and friendly. I'd definitely recommend checking this spot out.
