18/11/2025: We had a wonderful stay at The House Hotel in Galway! The hotel itself is lovely, but what truly made our experience special was the warm reception from Thaisy. She was incredibly kind and gave us great tips on local restaurants and things to do, which made our trip even better. We’ll definitely choose The House Hotel every time we visit Galway!

13/11/2025: Room was freezing cold . Alarm lights in the ceiling flashed all night I cannot imaging any staff visited that room before I arrived. Breakfast was a joke Cold cold Scrambled eggs Mushrooms Overcooked cold bacon As a regular visitor to Galway I will not book this hotel again

30/11/2025: Amazing food, great staff, excellent service. Everything was great and food was just incredibly good. I will go back to Osaka a lot. Good thing is that they have another restaurant nearby Eye Square.

27/10/2025: Very basic food experience. A limited menu, no substitutions or changes, so for example, there were 2 sandwiches on the menu and those were the only choices. It was not possible to have one without butter as ‘they come from the kitchen as described ‘. Handy spot if you are in a hurry but rather basic.

20/10/2025: Ordered coffee, flat white and scone, given the scone and flat white and told coffee would be ready shortly, had to go back and ask for the coffee, not busy at the time, no apology, disappointed

09/07/2025: Had to vote after seeing a review below because he's talking about three friends of mine. This was at 6pm and yes the lads are loud and full of craic. Insinuating they are on something else is an absolute disgrace. If you're no craic Tom, stay at home. Great pub and everyone is friendly...except for Tom

18/11/2025: I love to get the Papa John's cookies from this location. Crispy on the outside ooey gooey in the middle, completely delicious!

20/11/2025: Stayed two nights and the room was at the very top, above what appears to be the last floor. A few steps, just do you’re aware. The toilet flush was broken and needed repair. It was repaired but broke again. We didn’t report for the second time since we knew how to make it flush but I’m sure they’re well aware. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and warm. I’d stay here again whenever I come back to Galway. Parking is 5 minute walk and very cheap with the hotel discount applied.

24/11/2025: Rooms were worn out but I am aware they are renovating the roooms but the breakfast both mornings was genuinely terrible . Staff were friendly in reception areas and serving but over the breakfast i wouldn’t recommend

23/11/2025: My girlfriend and I stayed two nights in the G Hotel and i have to say this is a top runner for best hotels that we have stayed in. We celebrated a joint birthday and from start to finish we were showerd in five star customer service and complently perks, a special shout out too Jack Murphy who is a credit to the hotel, the man gives every customer his complete attention regardless of what is going on in the back round. Would recommomed and definitely will be back.

09/11/2025: To say appalling service would imply there was service at all. Staff walked around aimlessly, ignoring multiple tables trying to get their attention and then completely blanking anyone at the bar trying to pay for their table. Food was fine but after waiting over an hour we’d have eaten anything. Maybe they were just having an off night but I hope regular service is better than what we experienced.

05/08/2025: The best iced matcha I've had on my whole trip. Costs a pretty penny though.

04/10/2025: Spent the afternoon with a group a fiends watching the football, was then told to leave as was being too loud. Which was totally uncalled for after spending over €500 behind the bar. As we left we were cheered by the staff, absolutely pathetic

03/09/2025: The woman stationed behind the counter exhibited a rather discourteous demeanor, suggesting a possible aversion to tourists. Upon placing my order for a pint, she appeared visibly perturbed, as though my presence was an inconvenience. When she eventually delivered the drink, I expressed my gratitude, yet received no response or acknowledgment in return. While it’s understandable that one may not particularly enjoy interacting with tourists, such encounters are an inherent aspect of working in a public house. That said, the overall ambiance and quality of the pour were commendable.

14/08/2025: Only place I’ve ever been with edible wafer cups, five stars for that alone

31/07/2025: Most expensive Take Away Cappuccino in town. Also a bit diluted. €4 . However Flat White is the cheapest one here: €2.90 .
