03/09/2025: We think Galway was the most beautiful city in all of Ireland, and Clayton Galway was a gem fitting right in the center of it. We enjoyed our 2 day stay at Clayton Galway hotel. Breakfast is included and its a perfect start for our days. Staff were genuine, helpful and amazingly hospitable. We highly recommend this hotel for your stays.
01/09/2025: Nothing but praise for this hotel. The staff are great. Would recommend any couples looking at wedding venues to look no further. Padraig and his team were fantastic and couldn't have done anymore for us. The food, the service, the whole atmosphere was amazing and I honestly can't find any faults. Just brilliant.

16/07/2025: This is becoming our favorite place to eat on our way to Connemara. It serves delicious and beautiful food, great coffee and hot chocolate with a good selection of soft drinks. The food presentation is perfect. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The kids menu is long and diverse. They offer gluten free savoury dishes and sweet treats. (Their fries are made in a separate fryer.) We loved GF brownie and lemon drizzle. We will be back soon.

07/08/2025: The staff mentioned we are closing . We order take away and then didn’t even as cutlers. We requested can we seat and have it they completely refused it. The food was not great I think they just gave us frozen food. Not worst spending that much money and get the food.
07/08/2025: Ordered take away after a day out with the family. We had 5 different meals and all were exquisite. Best Indian food we had in a long time. Also ordering process went very smooth and delivery was very punctual.

27/08/2025: Utterly disgraceful!! Crappy straws - scamming their customers big time! Too lazy to research a better environmentally friendly alternative! It’s actually not possible to drink a milkshake as the straws collapse! They know this yet still scam customers. Problematic when using the drive - through as it’s impossible to return it! Avoid the place

We ordered two chicken kebabs. I think I had the best kebab of my life.
The portions were very generous. The chef and waitress were friendly and attentive.
Their restrooms were clean.
Located on a very busy street.
A must-visit place in Galway.
20/07/2025: Had a great experience here, the Chicken Shawarma was cooked perfectly, great flavors. My husband had the Lamb and reported to be excellent as well! They serve so.much.food. I couldn't believe it. Will def be back.

16/08/2025: Slightly overpriced for the food quality (a plate of vegetable soup with bread - non-invitingly dried by the afternoon - for 9.5 eur).
When we entered, none of the (empty) tables were clean, the one next to us remained full of used dishes for 30 minutes.
By no means do I mean anything negative about the personnel not knowing their circumstances, maybe they were just terribly understaffed. But it didn't give a good/clean vibe to the place.
Anyway the location and the interior is all good, so there I've given 5 stars to make my evaluation balanced.
15/08/2025: So happy to find this place! Had lunch here yesterday with my son, got a pizza board & wedges. The pizza was the best I've eaten, the dough was so fresh & fluffy, the toppings were delicious. We also got a sample of their bread from one of the chefs and unreal. The server we had was lovely & kind to my son, and the decor/vibe of restaurant is cool. Can't wait to go back and try more!
