26/08/2025: We travelled all the way from the Aran Islands. We always come in here the chicken in here is the best . We were met with a worker called Oliver and he was so nice . He helped us alot and was so polite . God bless him. We need more people like him and greets us with kindness and great hospitality skills. Thanks Oliver

16/08/2025: After a night out, I asked the bald bouncer to help a girl outside who was clearly getting abused and groped by a fella. He went over but came back refused to help her. After five minutes she was visibly getting groped by this fella and forced to kiss him. I took it upon myself to help her and after bringing her to safety inside I was questioned by the same bouncer as to if I knew the girl. After explaining she was the one I asked him to help, he implied her situation occurred due to her drunken state. I ensured she got away from the person safely, to which she thanked me and told me the bouncer did nothing to help, even though it was on their grounds. If this is representative of your company, this is a poor reflection, and quite frankly a horrible scenario

12/08/2025: There was milk outside the store even though it didn't open for another hour.

07/08/2025: I went there today to buy a moucha with non dairy milk. I was very well received by Daniel (so I imagine the name). It's the first time I've been so well served. I also work with the public, I treat people well, but I know how difficult it is to earn evaluation, so whenever I am well served, I think it is valid to help and praise the place.

03/07/2025: Absolutely amazing food. I ordered a 1/2 pounder, which was delicious along with a Gujan wrap and garlic,cheese chips. Everything was delicious, perfect, and exquisite. And relatively affordable price!!! Loved it. Thank you 🫡

26/08/2025: This restaurant boasts a fantastic atmosphere and stunning views. The food was also excellent. However, the service felt incredibly rushed. While I understand it was busy, our server took the menu away before I had even finished ordering. A little more patience would have made the experience perfect.

24/08/2025: A very nice place with lovely atmosphere and very polite service. The view is very nice…if the weather is good. The place closes at 10.30 and not 9.30 as is stated in Google. A very good option for dinner in Galway

23/08/2025: This used to be a nice place but has gone way downhill. From entering you can tell the place needs to be cleaned, painted, maintained. The service was fast but the food was inedible, far too sweet, I couldn't manage more than 2 spoons. My 4 year old ate a good bit of chicken and then felt sick the rest of the day. It's a shame such a nice location should offer a better experience

19/08/2025: We ordered a take out from here, Prawn Thai Red Curry and Beef Massman Curry, both dishes were authentic and full of flavour. The prawns were very tasty and plentiful. I totally recommend the quality and service, we were able to collect 15 minutes after ordering on a busy Saturday evening.

20/08/2025: I go KFC to Briar Hill occasionally, not always but on my last trip I got the most grease soaked soggy uncrispy fried chcken ever from the drivethru, I should have returned it but the staff were so unengaging and it's the type of place they would they would probably put up a fight so sharing it here instead. Come on KFC get your act together this place needs new managment. Please note this was afew months ago maybe thinks have got better since

13/08/2025: 5 stars! The service and staff at KFC are always top-notch. The seasoned fries with garlic dip are a game-changer, and the new rice bowl is an amazing addition to the menu. KFC keeps getting better and better!😋👍

20/05/2025: i had wanted to order 4 cookies and a portion of icecream, to start, the worker on the phone was very aggressive and impatient. then when my cookies do arrive, two of them are smushed up and very badly burned. this is a first time thing and i was very shocked.

24/04/2025: The best thing about the Office is its Staff..however they are treated appallingly by the manqger who steals wages from his staff..treats them very unfairly. He msy not even have bar licence. He does not deserve to have that position. Very Narcarsistic man

27/07/2025: I visited Insomnia Café in Galway today and was disappointed with the service. All the tables were dirty, and when I politely asked a staff member to clean one, she seemed annoyed and just kept saying, “We’re closing soon.” She did clean the table and take my order, but later told other customers they were closing with a look that basically said, “Get out.” I understand staff can be tired at the end of the day, but that shouldn’t affect how customers are treated. Good service means staying polite and professional. Personal issues shouldn’t be passed on to customers. I hope management takes this seriously. Experiences like this are why people stop coming back.

10/07/2025: 🏆 Michelin Tire Award for Excellence in Jaw Endurance 1 Star (because zero wasn’t an option) Category: Most Relentless Misrepresentation of Lamb Biryani. Let me paint you a picture. I, a humble survivor of many a food disappointment, placed my trust (and money) in what I thought was going to be a comforting, flavorful lamb biryani. What I received, instead, was a masterclass in how to assassinate expectations and ruin someone's evening. I want to be absolutely clear, I’m not awarding this dish a Michelin star. That would imply some semblance of quality. No, I’m awarding it what it truly deserves: a Michelin tire, because the lamb tasted like it was carved off a radial sidewall and braised in remorse. Every chew was a negotiation. My jaw filed a union complaint. I didn’t eat that biryani, I endured it. This wasn’t “cooked” lamb. This was “slow-chewed” regret. A meditative exercise in dental attrition. Every bite was a war crime against flavor, and every swallow was an existential question. Who cooked this? And why do they hate happiness? What spice mix did they use, printer toner? Was the recipe: “Find meat, remove joy, replace with despair”? I ordered the dish expecting 'comfort food'. What I got was needing therapy and floss. And possibly a jaw reconstruction specialist. Gordon Ramsay wouldn’t yell, he’d just walk out in silence and softly weep into a raw scallop.

09/07/2025: Had to vote after seeing a review below because he's talking about three friends of mine. This was at 6pm and yes the lads are loud and full of craic. Insinuating they are on something else is an absolute disgrace. If you're no craic Tom, stay at home. Great pub and everyone is friendly...except for Tom

31/08/2025: Great family-friendly spot with tasty food and relaxed vibes Visited Lana Salthill today with my family, and we had a lovely experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a clean, modern interior that felt both casual and stylish. The music playing in the background added a nice touch. Upbeat and mellow, setting a relaxed tone without being too loud. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient. Even though the place was busy, everything ran smoothly, and we felt well looked after the moment we walked in. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It arrived quickly and was clearly made with care. We all left feeling satisfied and happy with the experience. Overall, Lana Salthill is a great spot for a casual meal with family or friends. The combination of tasty food, good service, and a pleasant environment makes it well worth a visit.

15/08/2025: I ordered two Superhero Kids Noodles, and both had large chunks of chicken that were extremely tough and hard to chew. Even as an adult, I struggled with it. Very disappointed and would not recommend this place.
