The best restaurants in Galway

15/09/2026: We ordered the grilled sea bass (fresh catch of the day), the fish stew, and the chicken pate, and everything was delicious. The draft beer and wine selection is great, and the price is fairly decent (~30$ per meal). Would highly recommend, and kitchen closes late at 10 pm!

14/09/2026: This was a weird experience. My husband got some oysters and there was a worm swimming in his oysters!!! 🪱🤢 that was horrible!! We sent the oysters back! After that we got the steak and that one was decent. This place has potential because it’s in a very good location but I wouldn’t come back 😅

28/07/2026: Great deal on cocktails 2 for 11 jack was a great bartender! He told us about all the cocktails and all the bar staff was lovely

13/08/2026: We ordered a dozen and told the lady what we wouldn't like to have and apparently she put it in anyway.. that happens. The donuts was stupid dry. And the lady looked like we where just irritating. Wouldn't recommend, worst Krispy Kreme I have been to.

10/08/2026: Krispy Kreme have lovely donuts and a great selection. They are quite pricy, but that's to be expected from a speciality donut establishment. However, better than the donuts are the staff. The staff here are genuinely so kind and lovely and always put a smile on my face. Great donuts, amazing staff!

10/08/2026: Came in for a “salted caramel latte icecap” ordered that exact thing and the girl Anza who served me was so rude. She replied in a harsh tone what u want it’s either an icecap or a latte and laughed in my face. I said that’s what it’s called on the menu and she laughed and put it through. She then right in front of me laughed about the comments with her coworker “like what she want” and laughed. Disgusting behaviour. I get my coffee here most days as I live in eyre square and I for sure will not be returning

04/08/2026: The waiters aren't smiling, the coffee is mediocre, and it's quite expensive. The only redeeming feature of this café is its convenient location within the shopping mall and its quiet atmosphere.

06/08/2026: Ordered samosa chat. I did request the chef to add a bit more spice. I just say I was not disappointed, it was spicy the way I like it. The quantity was very much enough for a person. The taste was very close to the chat I have in Mumbai. Fair play.

09/07/2026: Great clean and spacious room. Beds were comfy and location was ideal. As a group of ladies attending a concert, we felt safe walking back late at night.

10/08/2026: I had great food here. I ordered a takeaway first, which I liked so much that I came back another day to see the restaurant itself. Particularly liked the chicken corn soup and the dishes with duck.

06/09/2026: I do love LANA food but unfortunately this is the first venue that the food was not tasty. The Spice box was so dry and both our chilli chicken and satay chicken dishes had hardly any chicken content within. Very disappointing

27/08/2026: A great place to eat after exploring the Salt Hill Walk. The food is very good, and the price is right. The young man who runs the restaurant is incredibly attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

08/08/2026: Ordered online, food missing a few times, i thought nothing if it. I couldn't contact the restaurant, no contact details available besides an email. My order today was not delivered, noone called me and it was marked complete. Dead silence from the dysfunctional restaurant that i will definitely not be ordering from again.

19/08/2026: Cheap but good quality, simple & tasty fast food. It isn't greasy and I don't regret eating it an hour later unlike supermacks!

26/04/2026: Burnt the bean, bad work ethic. Will be going to sliding rock from now on even though that place is a kip too. Ive heard good things about mocha beans, might try that out. But yeh, idk really. Londis chicken roll was shockingly bad too.

27/02/2026: There is an employee at your café who is very disrespectful. Every time I come, her attitude is inappropriate. She is always frowning, and her behavior is extremely rude. Even the coffee she prepares is extremely poor in quality — it tastes like plain water and is very disappointing.She has black hair, fair skin, a small face, and a slim body.I hope you teach her how to speak to customers properly, how to smile, and how to be polite and professional.The last time, she raised her voice in a very aggressive way simply because I asked about some chocolates!! This is not the first time. I am a regular customer, and almost every day I come and find her treating me this way specifically. I honestly do not know whether this is racism, jealousy, or a lack of self-confidence — I truly don’t know!!? .In any case, I will not return to this place again because of her poor behavior.The rest of the staff are respectful. She is the only bad choice in this place !
