27/11/2025: The food is fine for fast Tex mex, but the prices are so misleading. It costs extra for a vegetarian option. I asked for a veggie bowl and got lettuce. What was listed as €9.50 on the menu ended up costing me €16.50. Would not recommend to anyone on a budget

28/11/2025: You don't make lemon rice with actual lemons, it is made with lemon juice. The place has a recent change of ownership and the new people took the same menu and tried to replicate it, I don't think they understand food is not in the name. The lemon rice is inedible because it has actual lemon skin pieces on it on every bite. I had to throw it away. Also, their other dishes are pretty bad as well. Used to be my favourite restaurant/takeaway in Galway. I used to recommend this to every friend of mine, now I have to go and tell them anything but this.

There is never any soap in the bathroom
The lettuce is wilted/slimy
Waiting at the counter several minutes to be acknowledged let alone served
And all for sky high prices
10/09/2025: I had one of the most frustrating and downright unacceptable experiences with Merlin Park Supermac’s. My order was wrong, and when I called, they were hesitant to even re-deliver it. I was assured the driver would be sent straight back, but 30 minutes later nothing had arrived.
When I called again for an update, I was met with incredibly rude treatment from an employee named Rob. He spoke down to me in a condescending, sexist manner and even laughed at me while I was trying to resolve an issue caused by their mistake. This is absolutely disgraceful customer service.
Mistakes with orders can happen, but the way a business handles them makes all the difference. The dismissive, rude, and unprofessional behaviour I experienced was shocking. I will not be ordering from this location again, and I’d strongly caution others to think twice before giving them your business.

11/08/2025: Dirty taps.... There's also a creepy barman .. he looks like a hippy sort of guy, maybe a student, I was with my sister and he was making the two of us uncomfortable by staring in a creepy way..maybe because no other women in pub, he was on his phone also when we were waiting for a beer, ok dive bar but won't go back over that creep.
03/08/2025: Spent some time in galway for the races.. everything was great but also expensive... Went into Kennedy's for a beer and the young barman with long hair and beard asked me and my two friends did we want cocaine, ive reported this to the Garda, also I think he was drunk or hungover because you could smell it off him.. galway was great but I wouldn't recommend here

11/11/2025: Me and a few girls when their last Saturday. The interior was amazing, the staff was great and the food was amazing. I had their goat cheese salad and it was phenomenal. The only problem I think we faced was one of my friend tried strawberry daiquiri and she didn’t like it. Also, the staff was not ready to split the bill we had to walk to her personally and do it one by one. Other than that the food and the place was amazing.
12/09/2025: No, no service, guests are deliberately ignored, tables are not cleared, here the waiter is king.

20/09/2025: After a long day of fishing we decided to pop in here for something nice,
We ordered the double quarter pounder, and 2 snack boxes, we had to que for 5 min to put in the order and had to wait over 25min for the food, the chicken in the snack boxes came separate to the chips and the salt and viniger was in packs, so much packaging waste its ridiculous, now for the food, the chicken was ok but the chips although fresh were so hard and dry they were barely edible and we could not finish them, it was good that they were very small portions of chips and we felt bad throwing them in the bin as for the burger there was 2 patties so over cooked and so hard with little to no sauce or dressing on it, as for the price nearly 13 euro for 2 small prices of chicken and small portions of chips is extortion if you ask me and 13 for the burger and chips seems OK but really badly prepared food and small portions,
First impression are so important when it come to takeaway and as this was our first time we were left with a terrible impression of this place, we will never come here again

08/10/2025: Food is generally very delicious, but the portion sizes are TINY, particularly for the vegetarian meals. So what seems like good value eg: €7.95 for a veggie main, is actually quite poor if you take quantity into account. I Wish I took a picture of my veggie chilli today because it was rather laughable - a toddler wouldn’t even be satiated after it.

Four Star Pizza

25/10/2025: I’ve been ordering from 4 Star through Just Eat for the last 3 years — never had a bad experience until tonight, and honestly, this one was shocking.
My usual order (9-inch pizza, 2 regular sides, 2 drinks) showed up 30 minutes late, the pizza was stone cold, the sides barely warm, and the drinks completely missing.
I called the store — it took ages for anyone to even answer. When someone finally did, the guy on the phone was rude, dismissive, and clearly had no idea how to talk to customers. He told me they’d send out my missing drinks plus one extra “on the house.” An hour passed, still nothing.
I called again — same guy, same attitude, slurring his words, talking over me, and sounding half out of it. Claimed again my drinks would arrive in 10–15 minutes. Never happened.
If this is how they treat loyal customers, it’s no wonder people are turning away. Cold food, missing items, zero communication, and staff who clearly shouldn’t be dealing with the public.
Three years of loyalty completely wasted. Sort your staff out, because right now, this place is an embarrassment.
I Want A FULL REFUND!!!!!
