09/04/2025: 5 machines out of order in todays gym session And 2 being out of order for months nothing done about it Don’t waste your money

23/03/2025: Good fitness and pool, don't forget your own lock and swimming cap. Also, you can't relax in sauna, since people are really loud

17/04/2025: Absolutely awful. Ordered the “full” Irish breakfast but honestly, there was nothing full about it, just a big empty plate with scraps. The fried egg was burnt, sausages were raw on one side and burnt on the other, pudding was half the usual portion size and also burnt, hash browns came out cold. Pretty clear no one in the kitchen cares. Service wasn’t much better. A man asked to sit upstairs and was told it was closed, only for the next couple who walked in to be allowed up no problem. They make you pay up front, and after eating here I understand why, people probably refused to pay after seeing what they got. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

29/03/2025: It was truly an exemplary experience. The service wasn't as bad as other reviews say, it was direct and polite. The dishes and chocolate marshmallows were delicious. There are bathrooms on the third floor. I would definitely come back for a coffee, a piece of cake, or breakfast.

14/03/2025: Would give zero if I could. Served under cooked zinger burger..see pic. Sent a complaint to kfc who came back saying all checks were done on temp control and fryers work automatically so can't under cook chicken. They were sorry I was dissatisfied with my order. Well I'm shocked that kfc would stand over this undercooked food. They basically made me out to be a liar and offered a 15 euro voucher which just covers price of meal. I tried doing the right thing of contacting them first before reviewing here but their response is awful. The below pic and info is being sent to Hsa .

20/02/2025: They don't have orange juice. Like, screw you if you don't drink fizzy drinks. The burger wasn't even that great.

28/03/2025: The pizza is good but the prices are awful. 20 euros for a pizza?! Unfortunately I didn't see the prices until I sat down. I would not have entered if I saw prices. In Sweden a 20 euro pizza is a luxurious pizza with supreme taste and the best ingredients you can find. It tasted well but it wasn't that good. I'd pick another place, there seems to be many pizza places in Galway. I regret going here.

23/03/2025: I living in galway since 10 years and this was a really bad experience ,I waiting 40 minutes for one lasagna and the table beside wait 1 hour for get a wrong order,the food is ok but the price doesn't match the quality at all

22/01/2025: We ordered a takeway online while we were on the bus home the other day, and unfortunately were still stuck on the bus when it was ready and out for delivery, but the amazing delivery man (forgot to ask for his name!) offered to pick us up on the way and drive us and our pizza back home! Such a nice and kind guy, he made our day :D

12/06/2024: Loved this place! Reminded me of Steak & Shake in the states. Food was close to American but just different enough to let you know you're in Ireland! Would definitely visit again if I ever get back to Galway.

09/12/2024: Costa en el centro comercial Eyre Square está muy bien situado y ofrece una amplia gama de bebidas y comidas. Los asientos están muy bien espaciados y el personal era amable.

15/11/2024: Went there for some coffee and had a Frappe mostly it was caramel!- I have had better at costa coffee actually. Ans a carrot cake!- it was nothing special but good in taste.

16/10/2024: I would like to point out that my review refers only to the bed and breakfast service owned by Mocha Beans, which is located above the bar. My room was very small, with a bulky wardrobe. Luckily I didn't have a large suitcase, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to open it. The mattress is old and sagging, with springs that hurt my back. There are no electrical outlets in the bathroom, and to understand how to use the shower I had to call the owner because I wasn't told that there was a button outside the bathroom to activate it. Basically, there is no reception and you are given an access code to the main door, which is the same for the room. I wrote to the owner several times in the days before my stay to ask if it was possible to check in at eleven/eleven thirty in the morning instead of 2 pm. He never answered me and when I called him once I arrived, he showed up saying that the room was still occupied and that I had to come back at 2 pm. I told him about my messages and that I had not received a response but he was not interested in the slightest. Once I returned at two I had to wait on the stairs because the cleaning lady had not finished. I had to ask for a hair dryer because there was none in the room. I was not provided with a shower mat and I only had a face towel and a large one. I had trouble sleeping that night because of the mattress and in the morning I woke up around six (the only window in the room is on the ceiling and you can't open it because it is too high, in addition to not having a curtain). For what I paid I didn't get a good service and also the lady who prepared the room seemed very cold, she didn't ask if I needed anything. Passable cleaning. The only advantage is that it is twenty minutes from the city center. I will definitely not go back

12/04/2025: Food was good .. prices have gone up.. meal deal for two meals was €25...still on the outside of the building..but is now €33 and portions have gotten smaller. Went to the toilets after my meal, the disabled toilet had no toilet seat and when I went to the ladies, 2 of the 3 toilets had no toilet seat either. Woodies is across from shake dog, so they could easily buy toilet seats there and replace them. There was one bottle of soap for both sinks and no mirror in the bathroom.

11/03/2025: It was awful did not like my meal at all genuinely felt sick from it , the fall off was atrocious. Never coming back here , the food was unedible , the staff reek
