30/10/2024: Hit the spot with the kids and I. Fast service and food was good

16/10/2024: I just received my order from apache pizza 20 minutes late after the driver called me when he was meant to deliver it and was mumbling and slurring his words extremely heavily and kept on hanging up. I called the restaurant and asked if that was my driver trying to talk to me and they called him and took 20 minutes to call me back to tell me he was nearby, when he arrived he jumped out of the car and almost fell over, slurring his words and mumbling. I could just about make out that he said “I thought you were someone else”. He had been waiting outside somebody else’s house (nowhere near me) for all that time, I can’t even eat the food I received now because it’s freezing cold from being outside with the delivery driver for so long. I’ve now wasted €23 on food that I wouldn’t even feed to the dog, in extremely disappointed and will be avoiding ordering from here again and telling my peers about the horrible experience. Edit* : they’re now attempting to delete this review from google, avoid at all costs 😘

01/06/2024: It’s an over rated place…the food is really bad my suggestion not to waste your money. Chole Bethure was Pathetic…oily and tasteless!

31/10/2024: Huge modern building,wasn't overly impressed with the staff but wouldn't ruin my experience either.

22/10/2024: Dirty showers and changing rooms. Also got wrong information on the phone about pricing and booking procedure. Disappointing.

15/11/2024: Went there for some coffee and had a Frappe mostly it was caramel!- I have had better at costa coffee actually. Ans a carrot cake!- it was nothing special but good in taste.

16/10/2024: I would like to point out that my review refers only to the room rental service owned by Mocha Beans, which is located above the bar. My room was very small, with a bulky wardrobe. Luckily I didn't have a large suitcase otherwise I wouldn't have been able to open it. The mattress is old and damaged, with springs that bother the back. There are no electrical outlets in the bathroom and to figure out how to use the shower I had to call the owner because I wasn't told there was a button outside the bathroom to activate it. There is basically no reception and you are given an access code at the main door, which is the same for the room. I wrote to the owner several times in the days before my stay to ask if it was possible to check in at eleven/eleven thirty in the morning instead of at 2pm. He never answered me and when I called him once I arrived, he introduced himself saying that the room was still occupied and that I had to come back at 2pm. I told him about my messages and that I hadn't received a response but he wasn't interested in the slightest. Once I returned at two I had to wait on the stairs because the cleaning lady hadn't finished. I had to ask for a hairdryer because there wasn't one in the room. I was not provided with a shower mat and only had one face towel and a large one. I struggled to sleep at night because of the mattress and in the morning I woke up around six (the only window in the room is on the ceiling and it's not possible to open it because it's too high, as well as not having a curtain). For what I paid I did not receive good service and even the lady who prepared the room seemed very cold to me, she did not ask if I needed anything. Passable cleaning. The only advantage is that it is twenty minutes from the city center. I certainly won't go back

09/09/2024: Disappointing! When you go to a specialty shop that offers donuts, you expect the donuts to be exceptional in terms of variety, taste, flavour, and overall quality. Especially when you pay 3.75 euro for a doughnut. But in Krispy Kreme, I got ordinary doughnuts (Biscoff and Nutty Chocolatta). Cannot say that they were better than those in a grocery store. And what made me to write this review is an absence of filling in one of the doughnuts - there was just a hole with the smallest drop of filling. You cannot offer such low quality products for such high price.

15/10/2024: Been getting delivery for years, we're always generally very happy. Sometimes they forget to add toppings, and 90% of the time they never include the dip we paid extra for and we mark it as a lost cause. Still tasty and always arrives hot!

14/10/2024: I had just ordered a pizza with extra sweet corn and extra pepperonis and i got one half plain and one half just pepporoni what the hell is this?

01/11/2024: Ordered food over 2 hours ago and still have not received it. Very disappointed as it was my uncles favourite pizzareria.

01/11/2024: they are open and ordered our food then told us it was on the way and it never arrived. We have not got a refund and very annoyed over the situation

09/11/2024: Great for a quick bite. Convenient for the hospital, across the road. Decent food, good service, very clean. I recommend.

17/11/2024: Had been here last year and everything was lovely. Went to the Gaslight Brasserie for my mother's 60th Birthday in November 2024 and honestly the experience ruined the evening for us. Waiting over 25 minutes for drinks (had to ask about them twice before they finally arrived), over 30 minutes for starters, half the party were served their mains and it took 10 minutes for the next lot of food to arrive for the other half, food was lukewarm as were the sides, and food was mediocre at best. Honestly will never go back again after the experience.

31/10/2024: Cannot recommend this restaurant. The waiter was unfriendly and we felt unwelcome the entire time. The food took forever to come out, was very expensive and honestly, just disappointing.

12/06/2024: Loved this place! Reminded me of Steak & Shake in the states. Food was close to American but just different enough to let you know you're in Ireland! Would definitely visit again if I ever get back to Galway.

08/11/2024: I recently enjoyed the Fish and Chips at Salt and Pepper in Galway, and it was worth the €15. The fish was fresh with a delightfully crispy batter, and the chips were equally fresh and well-prepared. I appreciated the sides of lime and tater sauce, which added a nice touch. Most importantly, there was no hint of an oily aftertaste, a clear sign that fresh oil was used—something that made the meal even better. It’s a quality dish that delivers on taste, freshness, and value. Highly recommended for fish and chips.

26/10/2024: Ordered a chicken burger meal last night I was given a chicken fillet burger which was raw and still hard in the middle. On the first bite it was a bit chewy but on the 2nd bite I noticed it raw and hard. I've been puking and up all night with sick stomach. Not good at all . People cooking the food need to be retrained

11/09/2024: Got Assaulted here by 5 staff members when we asked to use toilet ,after they served us food. Stay away. Horrible People. Assaulted myself and the Girl I was with.

08/06/2024: This is hands down the best kebab shop in town . Has been around for years and never once has let me down . Known by all the Galway locals as the best in the business, with a wide range of food for everybody. My go to takeaway .
