19/10/2024: Always stop here for food and drink after a hospital visit.

10/08/2024: Obviously meant for staff with easy access to walk across the road from the hospital, but we were just driving through getting a takeaway and had to do 'circles' around the busy roads to find parking. Food was usual Supermacs standard we come to enjoy in Ireland. Would only recommend this Supermacs if you dont have to park a car!

12/11/2024: Great hotel in the middle of Galway's lively Latin Quarter. Priced a little on the more expensive side, it offers nice, spacious rooms and good technical equipment (TV, WiFi, etc.). Breakfast is ok, plus point for ready-made provisions packages to take away.

15/10/2024: Very happy with our stay at The House Hotel! Our room was one of the newer rooms on the ground floor, very nice and clean. Reception team was friendly. Breakfast was typical for a hotel breakfast. Great location for walking around the city. Staff provided a parking garage voucher to help decrease the price.

11/09/2024: Was recently here for an hour as part of a hen party. As part of the hen package we came here for bubbles and a bit of a dance. When we arrived there were only a few people sitting at the bar and dance tunes were playing, so it was very quiet for a Saturday night. One of the waitress came over to our table with a tray full of shots which we assumed were part of the hen package and were not told otherwise by the girl. However we quickly found out that they were not included as the girl started asking who was going to pay for them all. This was a complete shock to us as nothing was communicated that they were going to be charged and not part of our package. This left us very unhappy with the place and decided we were not going to stay and left after we finished our drinks. Before we left we noticed the same waitress did the same to another hen party at the venue. Very poor behavior from this place

04/09/2024: Just came from here and I wanted to get a soup but I was stuck for time because I had to get back to work so I asked how long will it be for the soup after waiting 5 minutes. The response I got was half an hour in a sarcastic way just because I asked. Will never be back and I advise people to avoid at all costs. Great service 👎

23/08/2024: Great coffee, very good sandwiches. Friendly staff, there were blankets available on the chairs. I ate several times during my stay in Galway, I really liked it.

13/10/2024: Hi, my self and my boyfriend were in beef and lobseter in galway on Saturday 12th. It was our first time in the city and in beef and lobster. I can't say enough good things about this place. Food 20/10, service 100/10, the waitress' name that was serving us was Żaneta, and there is not enough good things I can say about her service and experience we've had. Extremely friendly, relaxed, treated us with kindness and more like we were people she already knew. She made us feel welcomed and the positivity vibrated from her. We left the restaurant full and really happy !!! Also just to add, I have ordered the beef filet, initially in ordered medium - well but I got medium-rare, and honestly maybe someone would complain about this mistake, but as I told Żaneta, the chef made a good mistake and I had nothing to complain about. The steak was AMAZING, very soft and so delicious, I only realised it was different at the end of my meal. I passed on the positive feedback to the chef and that he had nothing to worry about because it was a very delicious error! Honestly, I really recommend this place.

18/09/2024: Food is good but way too expensive, staff is nice, place is too loud, too much noise from the kitchen.

28/10/2024: Terrible inefficient staff. Took ages to be served mediocre food.

27/10/2024: Two hours it took to have a kids meal and start / main. Plenty of staff around but no one doing any clean up / taking orders. Plenty of seats yet people arriving were told it would 45 min wait. Ridiculous. “Tables were booked”. We never saw those tables being taken. Saw three separate groups complain to management for various things. We would have walked out too but were waiting so long we needed food. Nice food but not worth the hour and a half it took to get main course of pizza.

04/11/2024: Probably the best burrito in galway the mexican rice, chicken, beans and salsa are all very good. Last time I went in there though there was a big delay as card machine wasn’t working so i decided to pay in cash, once I did after waiting about 5 minutes they didn’t have enough change and left me 5 cent short. Odd service behaviour Altough they were very friendly. Pork was also not as good as usual quite dissapointing altough is usually a great place to eat at reasonable price.

24/10/2024: Large portions, tasty food, friendly staff. The veggie burrito bowl was almost two meals in one, great!

13/08/2024: Best Indian food in Galway. Every one of my Indian friends highly recommend here. Lovely service! Chief also give us free sweets. Perfect experience!

30/07/2024: A must Visit if you are in Galway and looking for the best Indian Food.The service was wonderful. Vaishali was so attentive and accommodating to customize the dish that i had ordered ( Allergic to Onions ) .The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, and I loved everything i tried, over the next couple of days during my stay. I can’t wait to come back again ! Vaishali..you are the best and thanks a million again for taking care of my dieterary restrictions as well.

28/10/2024: We stayed 4 nights in this B&B and we recommend it. The host is warm, available and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean (a cleaning service comes daily). The accommodation is ideally located close to many places to eat and drink.

28/10/2024: At the top. A warm welcome, our host is the sun that is missing from the Irish sky today. The room is refined and classy. Clean from bed to toilet to shower. I think it's the best value for money around. Thank you 👍

25/10/2024: Just an horrible place to go . Nothing positive to mention. 1. Mentioned as if it is an indian cuisine. But the taste is not at all authentic indian. 2. Especially for vegetarians... not a right place at all. 3. Many of the starters are frozen food. Not freshly made. When we found out and asked the supervisor he accepted and didnt turn up to that place till we left . 4. Taste horrible 5.staff not at all friendly. Very late service. Overall experience horrible.

15/10/2024: Went for dinner on two occasions. Tried the butter chicken, garlic naan, lamb biryani and chicken pakora. Everything was sensational! The atmosphere was very calm and welcoming. Not too formal, not too casual. Experienced chefs and friendly staff. Felt like a visit to an old friend's parents. Nothing to fuss about. Highly recommend for everyone!
