03/06/2025: Poor cousin of the much better Mama Rich. Food mediocre. Bereft of atmosphere. Service was inattentive. Servers hung out idly near kitchen chatting. Pet peeve is to be charged for a small extra portion of sauce especially when we were a party of 6.

05/05/2025: *Very dangerous to order from here if you have a nut allergy* On two recent occasions I have ordered a takeaway fron Lana Salthill. On both occasions I specifically ordered a dish which did not include nuts in the ingredients, but when eating them we discovered a cashew nut in the dish, on the two occasions. These were two different dishes, which are not supposed to include nuts. They were the "Thai Sweet Sour Chicken" and the "Pad King". This repeated level of cross contamination within a very short period of time is very worrying. My son has a serious nut allergy and it's lucky they were spotted in time. I would strongly advise anyone with a nut allergy, especially to Cashew nuts to approach this business with caution or even avoid.

05/05/2025: Nice to have a large variety of vegan meals. The lunch I had was decent and an okay amount for the price. I had Edamame as a side though which I can't really recommend. Gave them back after I found a long piece of plastic in them and wasn't offered any compensation which I was kind of expecting.

30/10/2024: Our server, Lily, was extremely helpful and makes a great cappuccino! Will be returning 🙌

27/10/2024: We had a delicious scone and amazing chocolate chip cookie from here! I can totally recommend anything they bake!

È spaziale e riempie per ore: con 9€ abbiamo pranzato in due Poi se volete provare gli scones, potete prenderne uno del gusto che preferite, ma secondo me quelli è meglio mangiarli con te e panna

17/04/2025: Great spot to grab a quick bite. We popped in to to grab snacks on our way to the cliffs. Quick & friendly service. Really glad to see wood take away utensils instead of plastic forks, knives & spoons.

23/04/2025: Lovely homemade pastry, delicious coffee, excellent service, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Will come back for sure.

12/03/2025: Great place. Breakfast was very good -scrambled eggs, bacon and toast with an excellent cappuccino. Service was prompt and friendly. Will revisit when in the neighbourhood again.

23/05/2025: 23rd may visit KFc Cajun rice, no tasted and bitter, ordered 10pcs chicken basket not tasted as all like plain , and a bottle Pepsi max was warm then ask for ice the staff say not ice . The baby chair is very dirty and down there, unhygienic for baby Won't be back again Cob was sour, and the taste like plastic . Second time visit kfc in galway . Hopefully, the heathespetor will go to visit there, please Upstairs is freezing, which wasn't turned on the heating . Not good with baby

20/01/2025: So far I have a good experience with that place. The breakfast menu is cheap and tastes good, even for the lunch you can grab a big burger full of beef with cheese and vegetable with fries for 7,95€, which is undoubtedly the best price so far. The cleaning could be better.

11/12/2024: Never supply any cutlery and now they started charging for wooden cutlery at the till. Blaming students for stealing them. Anyone could steal them not just students. Not even a nice restaurant would charge for take away cutlery.

09/05/2025: Ok food (reason i'm giving more than 1 star) reasonably priced and clean. However the service I got was absolutely awful. I got the full irish which you get a free tee/coffee with. Personally I can't have caffeine (medical reasons), therefore I asked for a decaf coffee. Yes I could just ask for a hot chocolate or something however i thought for something different would be nice. I made it very clear to the waitress atleast twice of my order at the till, which seemed ok so I sat and waited. Fast forward 10 or 15 minutes later and she came with my cappuccino. I asked, to double check, if it's decaf to which she slowly said no. I then (again) explained i can't have caffeine and would like a decaf coffee instead. As she was taking it away she HUFFED as if it was all my fault. My friend noticed she wasn't writing anything down while ordering, and the restaurant was fair quite at the time (that said she did seem to be the only one behind the till.) God knows if I had another food intolerance. Again a few minutes passed and this other waiter came with a cappuccino. I asked if its decaf which he said yes to (this turned out to be my friend's which I didnt know we got the same drink lol). A few seconds later the same lady came out with my coffee. I again questioned if it was decaf where she said yes. At this point I gave it to my boyfriend as I felt couldn't trust them. After drinking it he said there's 100% caffeine in there (I definitely felt more awake after a few sips myself) The waitress seemed to not give a toss about being there. What makes it angry is the way she dealt with the situation. I also work in hospitality (including being a barista at times), and I myself had times where I might make a mistake. However I'd always rectify them and show good customer service. She literally lied to me about what type of coffee it was and made me feel bad for asking to send it back. The manegers really have to give their employees a customer service crash course or something Great start to the day 😃 A few extra points: at first I ordered a mocha, however was charged €12 when the menu said €11.50. When I asked about this she said the mocha was an extra 50 cents. She never said that prior nor as far as I could tell it said on the menu. Also the food came before the drinks, which i thought was a bit weird as usually its the other way around. These weren't not that much of a deal however, just thought I'll point these out aswell.

09/03/2025: Have tried the pasta a couple times and it was awful. Low quality and maybe cooked wrong. Chicken was chewy and flavourless. Other dishes could be good though

10/07/2024: We visited from UK and was really shocking to see this was the only LGBTQ+ bar in Galway. Bar was very small and atmosphere was definitely off! However host and bar persons were brilliant! Music was available on request which is always fun and plenty to choose from on the cocktail menu

03/07/2024: From Canada, in Galway durin our spring break in March. I had horrible experience. Looked up gay bar. Excited to go on late aftenoon with my str8 brother in law. Just to be made fun and ridiculd by bad queen i guess hosting a str8 girls night. All for that and great for doing...but once we walked in, door not locked, NOT EVEN A SIGN OUTSIDE saying closed fir private event. Once i heard it say thats why door is closed...made me sooo pissed off at how you treat new guests. In my world, you put a sign on door saying private party. Not make fun of tourist who just wanted to go to safe gay place. I will NOT recommend this place, and hope someone will open another gay place to go...or at least fire that wannabe queen. She not even a princess.....just trash.

25/04/2025: Fabuloso lugar para comer. Perfecto para familias o una noche de fiesta. Gran selección en el menú y la comida era deliciosa. Recomiendo reservar para evitar decepciones, ya que está bastante ocupado

17/04/2025: Mi prometido y yo vamos allí todo el tiempo. La comida es siempre al más alto nivel y el personal es muy agradable. ¡No puedo encontrar ningún fallo en el restaurante!

19/05/2025: Twice in a row the chicken in the kebab is not marinated chicken; but instead cheap breaded chicken that is inedible. Used to eat here a lot; never again. Food straight in the bin again.

31/05/2025: This is a lovely place. Good food and very nice stuff. I'm from Poland and it was such a pleasure to chat with one polish girl from the stuff, also she made me delicious coffee. Thank you if I'll be in Galway again I definitely visit this place one more time.;))

20/05/2025: Nice place and spacious. I ordered the soup as the lettuce in the salad options at the counter didn’t look appealing. Pricing seemed high for some of the menu items and there were no glasses available only paper cups. The children’s sausage and chips were very plentiful and well priced. I would go again with the kids and maybe have a hot drink and a piece of cake as their desserts looked lovely.
