Elephant & Castle Galway in Galway

The ambiance was amazing—very spacious and welcoming. However, the menu had limited options, and some items felt overpriced. I had fish and chips—the fish was decent but bland, and the chips were overcooked and hard. My girlfriend’s chicken wings were tasty, so I think I just picked the wrong dish. The presentation was a bit disappointing—more like fast food. I’d requested a birthday gesture when booking, and while they added a note, the half scoop of ice cream wasn’t great. I would’ve liked a proper dessert option. Overall, the service was okay, but since the takeover, I miss the old menu. I probably wouldn’t return.

I had the chicken supreme for dinner, and it was delicious. Wonderful staff and atmosphere. Shout out to Emma!

Had the "Dirty Chicken," an attempt at chicken nachos. Terribly salty. It was like chicken McNuggets with cheese sauce and nacho chips. Entirely devoid of vegetables. Get serious Chef!

Bartenders make some killer cocktails here. We had the best espresso martini in YEARS here, it was so incredibly smooth and delicious (and strong). The food was really good, burger delicious, and great buffalo sauce with cauliflower wings.
