25/03/2025: Terrible servicio, no volveré. el café era fangoso, el servicio era más como una tarea que un trabajo. Por el precio de la comida? ? cabría esperar mejor

01/03/2025: Estuve allí a las 9: 20 am y no se abrió! ¡Y se suponía que debía abrirse a las 9 am! ¡Tuve que quedarme sin café el sábado por la mañana! ¡Deberían abrir temprano!

05/04/2025: We joined the restaurant for our business dinner. Apart from our group, it was another group nearby, one couple and 2 other guests. So it was practically empty. Therefore it was just a waiter to look after all the floor. The interior and seating area looks very fashonable and I liked the details. Very comfy chairs too. I ordered the soup of the day which was tasty and came with soda bread and a selection of butter. The problem was the main course. I ordered the catch of the day, which was fish and chips. Both were tepid, not hot like you get straight from the kitchen, which I assume the plate was left on the kitchen counter to cool down maybe waiting for the other orders. Chips were not crispy outside but soggy, like when you eat them after a while. Although the dish presentation was very good but the food unfortunately not. So after few bites I was not enjoying the tasting experience so I left my food on the plate. The waiter was friendly.

05/01/2025: We had the New Years Eve six course meal, and it was delicious with excellent service. We're already thinking of coming back next year.

12/11/2024: We ordered caramel frappe but didn’t quite like the taste of it if I compare to what I had at costa coffee. While the other desserts were quite great in taste like the carrot cake or brownies! I alao got a chance to have one of mocha beans new dish at Christmas market which I would really like to talk about and recommend to you all. Its the chimney cake comes with different flavours nutella, apple strudel, brownie and more😍 Wow worth to have!!

03/04/2025: The place is nice, the food is the classic Irish menu, where there is spicy everywhere but in my case I got a hamburger to be on the safe side, the meat was really good, too bad that the hamburger itself was very small for a value of €20.50. My wife had asked for a decaf coffee, (I don't know what brand they use) but it was truly horrible!😬

29/03/2025: Food was ok but lacked seasoning. It's also overpriced, steaks cost the same as in other premium restaurants but are served with only a small portion of chips, any other sides cost extra. Service was friendly but overbearing (we were checked on by 3 staff members within 10 minutes!). Overall average, I'm not likely to return any time soon. Galway has many excellent restaurants that I would recommend for steak before this one.

15/10/2024: Lovely pub! The staff is really helpful and if you're looking for a place to do a group party or celebrate something with friends, I definitely recommend it. They have a separate area that its great for it.

27/09/2024: These haters can shut up. This place is great. Wonderful spot got a quiet pint away from the tourists and noise of city centre. We’re American and found it to be aces. Wonderful music on Wednesday nights. Friendly staff.

19/03/2025: Terrible service, expensive!! The barista was rude and the drink tasted bad

13/03/2025: Had a caramel frappucino here and unfortunately it didn't taste nice!! There also isn't a toilet here. When I asked I was told You have to walk to the one on a different floor in the shopping centre or they also advised that I could walk to their other Starbucks elsewhere in galway. Will update this review if I go back.

02/12/2024: What a gem of a pub! Super cozy, loved the real candles on the tables. We met the most amazing people (Ann Marie, Dave, Murtle, and the best bartender Slava). If it wasn’t for the snow storm we all would have been taking the polar plunge off Black Rock in the morning. Miss you all already!

20/05/2024: Visiting Galway from out of the country and stopped here - food was just ok. But, while here my 3 year old muttered to me the dreaded phrase “I need to poop”. Quickly ran up and asked if we could hop inside (despite it being closed off at the moment) since this was a bit of an emergency and the clock was officially ticking. The girl at the window said “sorry I can’t, I’ll get in trouble, but you can walk to the cathedral”. 5 or so minutes later after hustling to the cathedral, we get to the cathedral’s bathroom but a 3 year old can only hold it for so long and I was left to clean up quite a mess. I’d hope for a little more compassion next time.

17/05/2024: Very cute spot with quick service and okay coffee. Many sandwich and coffee selections. There’s outdoor seating too

20/03/2025: This place deserves 0 stars. The main old lady staff with blonde hair deserves to be humbled. We walked in, she rolled her eyes and then was hovering over us when we sat down as if we were going to steal something? Idk if she is a biach or r#cist because it was me and my friends and we're not irish, either way, she was so unaccetably rude. She told my friend that she could get her own cheesecake. "um you can get your own cheesecake the fridge is open" she said after my friend politely asked "can I serve it myself or do you guys prepare it". We even left because the atmosphere was super hostile and uncomfortable. Never coming back here again,my stomach churns even walking by this place. Hope the old lady goes to sleep with bed bugs.

20/03/2025: This is a nice upscale bar with good drinks and beer options. It is not in any way an Irish bar, just FYI.
