So if you have minimum 1.5hr to wait for food that come here. Literally takes that long and when it arrived samosa was cold which I don’t understand that one because you can premake and just fry. The vindaloo was interesting not at all spicy for me (I can handle super hot). It wasn’t bad, the curry was somewhat flavorful. My husband had a chicken curry that was decent. Lemon rice was good. For how long we waited, we were hoping for stellar food but yes I get it in, we are in Ireland. Perhaps having been all over the world our tastebuds have just been more exposed. I just wish the wait wasn’t so much we were in a hurry and waiting 1.5hr just for ok food was too much and it came out all at once and one dish was so late we cancelled it after scarfing the food that finally got delivered. This place has potential but it failed for today. Server was super nice and apologized but My husband who is Indian was way more annoyed as he wanted time to digest but we finished dinner at 9pm after having gotten there at 630pm

I ordered Schezwan chicken fried rice and I quite enjoyed it. But the waiting time is terrible. And first time seeing strawberry syrup poured over a mango lassi.😬

Visited this place yesterday with my friends after suggestion from ‘Leyo’ and we really enjoyed the experience. The fish curry was delicious, and the butter chicken, it was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was nice, and we had a great time together. Definitely a place worth visiting if you love good food and a pleasant dining experience

Had dinner with some friends and we had a great meal! Parotta was excellent. The lassi and mushroom pepper fry were the star for me. Absolutely class 💯 briyani seems to be made with seeraga samba rice. The masala was flavourful but wish there were more vegetables other than potato and cauliflower. Gobi manchurian was very saucy too 😋 The parotta took a long while to come, a good 20 min after the briyani and the rest had arrived at the table. Possibly cos it was made fresh but we'd need the parotta to have with our gravy.

Food is excellent. Ordered our starter & main, server really nice guy. Just after the starter arrived they suddenly turned up the music which made it difficult to have a conversation with loud club music blaring out, had to ask them to turn it down (it did slowly increase again). Half way through my starter the mains arrived, so ended up with both starter and main on the same plate. Less than a minute of us finishing our meal the bill was placed on the table, never bothered to see if we wanted a dessert !! Drinks are very limited to red or white wine, no bottled beers or you could have a soft drink. Everything felt very rushed, only 3 diners in the whole place. Less than an hour from start to finish

Green Chilli Galway is a great spot with delicious, authentic Indian food and generous portions. The service is quick, staff are friendly, and the view out to the docks adds a nice touch to the dining experience. Definitely worth a visit.

This place is delightful! Such friendly staff and flavourful food. I had veggie samosas, the chicken pepper roast with geera rice and parotta. All of it was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this delightful place.

Absolutely loved this place! The food was simply amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The ambience is just fabulous, with a relaxing vibe that makes you want to stay longer. One of the highlights is the view; you can sometimes spot ships docked nearby, which adds such a unique and beautiful touch while you enjoy your meal. I tried the Porotta + Pazhampori + Beef combo, and wow… what an amazing choice! Highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Will definitely be coming back!

Had a fantastic experience at Greenchilli Restaurant, especially on my first time in Galway! The food was absolutely delicious with a truly authentic Indian taste. I’ve tried their biryani and porotta before—both were amazing, full of flavor and perfectly prepared. This visit was just as impressive, with every dish tasting fresh and satisfying. I’m very happy with the overall experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for genuine, flavorful food!
