Had a quick afternoon bite to eat. Given table and waited 10 mins to order. The wild Atlantic sandwich was crab & smoked salmon on brown bread with chips and small salad. It was very tasty. No alcohol served due to ownership change. The toilets need a lot of attention. Friendly but slow service. Food good. Toilets 👎. In no rush back I'm afraid 😟

This place is amazing!!!! The staff were so friendly and helpful. We went to the rooftop and the sunshine was so lovely, we enjoyed a few Guinness and Aperol and had the best afternoon. I highly recommend this place if you’re wanting somewhere to relax and enjoy a beautiful view with staff who are super accommodating. Will definitely be back!!!

Great atmosphere with large waterfront windows looking out to Galway Bay. We ordered the vegetable soup, roast beef, Guinness stew, and the salmon catch of the day. The food was delicious, portion sizes were generous, and service was prompt! The rooftop opens next week—wish we could be here to experience it!

Maybe we attended on an off night, but I kind of doubt it. It was nearly dead at 6.30 pm on a Tuesday and they were out of Guinness, which should have been enough warning to leave. We stayed and ordered. The sea bass and Heineken was good, but my wife's sirloin steak was tough, overcooked and lacked much flavor. That absolutely ruined it for us. I don't recommend the place overall.

25/08/2026: I was looking for a quick dinner nearby, no particular expectation. The menu is quite extensive but don't let it scare you. The food was really tasty, the staff incredibly welcoming and nice, I'd recommend 100%. Thank you for such a warm welcome!

21/05/2026: I visited Galway for the day from Cork City and happened upon this wonderful café. I had the Cubano sandwich, paired with a small bottle of Brisa Merlot and a chilled San Pellegrino. Everything was exquisite — simple things done beautifully well. Upstairs, the view overlooking the main thoroughfare was the perfect finishing touch: sitting by the window, watching the world drift by, with the rhythm and charm of Galway unfolding below. A truly memorable little escape.
