The best restaurants in Galway

22/07/2025: Staff is great and very helpful but Menu is confusing, I ordered a chilli cheese fries which came with jalapeño and it was sour, while ordering from the screen the picture shows fresh green chilli which I was expecting, it’s a difference between chilli and jalapeño. They change it with only cheese and the staff doesn’t know difference between jalapenos and chilly, again staff was nice and polite.

15/07/2025: Always a good place to stop with burger king and the other one and now they have M&S food bits

09/08/2025: Stunning views from the roof right across the water. The roof covering is definitely a must and keeps you well sheltered from the winds.

07/08/2025: Our first time here and our last! We waited well over an hour for our food to come, I get it they get busy, but other costumers were coming in after we had put our order in and were served and finished their meal as we were still waiting for ours! I order salmon, which was the featured dish of the day, it was raw in the middle! Our server was not pleasant at all! Will not be returning here!

04/06/2025: Got the Carbonara for two. Plus one coke zero at the cost of €30 odd euro. Both people the food was bought for said it was awful and only had one bite before it went in the bin. First time ordering food here and it will be the last 😤

01/08/2025: Great place, part of a sort-of larger complex of sorts. We were sat in the adjacent building with food from the other location. We had a local and international flight. The tonic went really well (not a big fan of tonic) with all the gins. The "international" flight went about as far abroad as Co. Kerry but I digress. All the gins were great, it was fun comparing and contrasting their various characters. I thought the local gin of Nora's stood up decently well against the others. The garnishes were paired well, but I was left with a slight feeling that the difference in fruit (the international flight was limited to lemon/lime/orange) made it a tad bit more difficult to directly compare the gins. On the other hand there is the argument of pairing each gin well to show it at its best I suppose. Thoroughly enjoyed the flights and the little information mats underneath.

14/02/2025: A gin lover's dream! I absolutely loved that my hotel was a block away as I came here all 3 nights I visited Galway. They have so many different gins you can try and the bar tenders are very nice and suggest cool mixtures. I recommend visiting here at least once when visiting Galway!

02/09/2025: The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. My boyfriend had the breakfast burrito and I had the pancakes with maple syrup and bacon. Both were delicious and hit the spot. The staff were attentive and friendly- great service. The whole experience was very enjoyable as it was not loud and warm as a lot of cafes tend to be.

29/08/2025: Food is very nice, coffee too. a good location as there are not too many places to eat in the area. However a half hour wait for food is ridiculous and not even a word of apology from staff. So, that must be normal then. Very disappointed and somewhat embarrassed as I recommend the place and people with me were not impressed with the wait either.

30/08/2025: I used to used to work in this kitchen full time all over 2 years TSO Chicken was cooked by alot of sugar and mix with ketchup . Cury sauce and chicken was made buy black reused oil. All their food equipment inside is dirty, ,sticky, slippery all the time The management of this alway call homeless people for cheap payments The owner is from china, if you have acknowledged about Japanese 's food you would know what i am saying. HongKong, and Indian's food is the best in ireland except china
