The best restaurants in Galway

14/02/2025: A gin lover's dream! I absolutely loved that my hotel was a block away as I came here all 3 nights I visited Galway. They have so many different gins you can try and the bar tenders are very nice and suggest cool mixtures. I recommend visiting here at least once when visiting Galway!

10/04/2025: This is a very top notch restaurant serving tasty japanese food. And its worth it🤩😋 We ordered: Avocado temaki- Average in taste not worth the price it cost us €6.5 Crayfish+spicy mayo- €12 you get 8 pieces which is good in taste n quantity Chicken kara age- €8 for 6 pieces, very good in taste liked the crispy texture Veg gyoza- 10.5€ little overpriced dish again but must try Fondant- €8.5, very good taste of match icecream with perfect blend of warm fondant and cold icecream Raspberry roulade- €7.5, if you like less sweet dessert this is must try here I liked it! Interiors: Warm and cozy atmosphere Staff: attentive and helpful Hopefully, I gave a detailed review over here. Please do give a thumbs up if the review is good.

03/04/2025: Well, there are 6 different bars after you enter here. Really cool live music from locals, and the vibe is great. Young and old were seen here. It was awesome.

05/03/2025: Ordered a extra larger portion of shredded chicken. You know what they gave me? The tiny little burnt/ball bits your have at the end of an order. Entire box was just filled with little tiny crispy balls that you had basically 0 chicken and would have your jaw hurting by the end of the order. I've been ordering take out here for a solid year but NEVER again.

08/03/2025: Very good place to have breakfast. Friendly staff and very good products. The plates are plentiful.

02/03/2025: The food was alright! The porridge was very loose, and the drinks we got (Flat white and a mocha) were mostly milk and tasteless. Despite that, we still had a good time as the view was beautiful and the atmosphere was relaxing.

30/03/2025: Staff are very welcoming and friendly and service is promt. Food is very good but quality of breakfast sausage could be better. Other than that it is a fantastic spot .

16/02/2025: Expected a nice French almond croissant, but let down with the size of it, later got to know that I should have chosen the bigger one.. so make sure when you order ask for the biggest one if you would prefer .. happy days... Merci :)

08/03/2025: Ce n'était pas là où nous avions prévu de déjeuner mais je pense que nous aurions pu le regretter !!! Excellent accueil attentionné et chaleureux. Le service est au top !!! Les plats sont délicieux et copieux. C'était franchement l'endroit où il fallait s'arrêter et même la bière bien fraiche a fini de me convaincre !!! Un excellente endroit à découvrir !!!

28/02/2025: We went here for lunch and weren’t disappointed. My husband and l had Cod and chips and they were delicious. Lovely relaxing place and the man who served us was such a friendly guy. I would recommend EJ kings to everyone.

02/04/2025: This hotel is a great location especially for the price. It fit our needs perfectly. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. Close to the train station and the square, within walking distance to shops and Latin Quarter. We paid for the breakfast one morning and it was okay. Found other breakfasts we liked better for about the samw price and other days we just didn't need as much so we went to other cafes for smaller meals at a lower cost.

27/03/2025: Clean and respectable hotel in the heart of Galway city. The location doesn’t get better. Some of restaurant and bar staff need a bit of training in hospitality, not very accommodating or friendly.
