WYLDE in Galway

A delightful find whilst wandering round Galway! Loved the outside so popped in for food. Very pretty, beautifully designed, spacious. Lovely sandwiches or salad bowls or warm food; not expensive. Next door is an equally beautiful restaurant in Hyde.

A few gluten free and dairy free options. The berry breakfast bowls with soya yoghurt and chia were yummy. Make your own salads and sandwiches is always a plus when you have allergies.

Popped in here yesterday (30/06/2026), fresh from the bus station with our luggage. We chose WYLDE because the menu we saw online had some good vegetarian options. We were not disappointed, there were many stand-alone veggie options, but, as the manager kindly explained to me, pretty much any dish on the menu could be provided in a veggie variant. We both had veggie Hang Sandwiches, and I also had a vegan sausage roll. The food was FANTASTIC!! Great to look at, even better to eat, fabulous, we enjoyed every bite. But the food wasn’t the only special element of WYLDE. Every single member of the staff, from the manager, to the order receiver/wait staff, to the Barista, were all SO lovely! Helpful, answering questions politely and professionally, offering advice and further suggestions, and just being nice, normal people who also enjoyed a laugh too. It was a pleasure to find this place (which has lovely decor and a nice feel to it!), and we cannot recommend it highly enough! Absolutely 5 ⭐️!

Good coffee and the wylde about salmon bowl was delicious as well as the nuts about wraps.

You can grab a quick bite at this place, but the quality is definitely there! The ingredients are top-notch and fresh. The portions are also generous and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it !

Great açai bowls with nice options for topping and decent prices. Espresso a little sour and the matcha was too heavy so a bit hard to drink. at the end of the drink I noticed there was a part of the whisk broken into it, making me wonder how it went unnoticed when making the drink because the matcha shouldn't have so much volume to not see that before pouring over milk, making me sure again there was too much matcha used. Acai bowls were great but please set a better acai recipe 🙏
